Good quality hamburger. Really enjoy their specialty burgers. Love the fact that they have a ton of side items to choose from. Their fried pickles definitely stand out. Great milkshakes too!

For a fast casual place, Smashburger is a solid okay. They have some interesting sounding burger options and offer a black bean patty. The patty is huge, spilling over the sides of the bun, but it doesn’t have a ton of flavor. Their fries can be a bit greasy, but their milkshakes/malts are really good.

After an interview at the local hospital, I really wanted a burger so Unilocal we searched. H and I came to Smashburger because it was the closest non-fast food establishment nearby. Worst mistake ever. For $ 20, we received two subpar, salt-infested-similar-to-the-Atlantic-Ocean burgers, one small thing of fries and a small soft drink. I can do salty foods, but for the burgers’ meat to be so extremely salty I needed a gulp of soda to wash it down… I hardly think the money is worth the unpalatable lump of ground meat. I’d pass and seriously never come here again regardless of its close proximity to the hospital.

Cobb salad is fabulous! The fries are not my personal favorite but that won’t stop me from coming back for a salad or burger.

Is this just a typical burger joint? NO! Although they do have great burgers and fries, their salads are amazing! They also have veggie fritz which are great for the kids and fast service, yes it’s a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it!

The salads are the best, compare to high price restaurants, good greens, toppings and the fried chicken breast huge. I usually ordered hamburgers here which are very good but now I am hooked on the salads! The service always extremely friendly.

Wonderful service! Yes, it is a bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion. LOVE the Avocado Black Bean Ranch burger and the Cucumber Goat Cheese Smashchicken. Regular and sweet potato Smashfries are to die for. But again, the staff definitely enhances the experience.

Ok so here’s the thing I’ve given this place two shots and I’m still at yikes! It was me and four kids two of which ate off the kids menu and two shared fries…$ 50…what? I’m sorry people but anywhere I have to order my food from a counter should not be that much. I’ve taken them to sit down places for cheaper! Now let’s talk food… grilled cheese was burnt and one plain cheeseburger came walked through the garden and all condiments! The gal that fixed these for us was awesome. sorry I missed your name. Lastly the ambiance… dirty, dirty, and more dirty! Floor was a mess tables had food and dishes all over them. just ewww! Smash Burger was a complete bust!!!

Fast and friendly service! The burgers were outstanding! I love the truffle on the smash fries. If you have not tried the truffle mushroom and swiss burger you have to! ! One of the best burgers I’ve ever had!

I visited this particular Smashburger and was not impressed. The burger was good. But when I went up to the front counter to ask for a condiment, one of the female employees who had just started her shift decided she needed to fix her hair. This young lady with very long hair stood at the end of the service counter and brushed her hair and was swinging it around trying to pull it together I guess to put it either into a braid or pony tail. My point is that she was doing this at the food counter, where customers pick up their food! OMG ! I won’t be eating there again because I don’ t know what goes on in, on or around the food /service. I am sure she was trained and knows better.

Quick service but pricey. For the type of burger/chicken restaurant it is, I find them consistent and tasty.

So if I say…“meh” you all know what I mean right? That’s the case here. In order to have a successful business you have to have a unique selling point right? Is smashing the burger down flat a selling point? It’s a pretty«meh» one if you ask me. I’m not saying I dislike the food here… it just doesn’t have that«IT» factor to bring me back again and again. They got rid of their hot sauce bleu cheese chix sandwhich and that was about their best item. So if you have one of their bogo coups… check it out. It’s not a bad burger.

Used to love this place, but they’ve been on a steady decline for the last year. Screwed up my order the last 3 times & the quality of the food has diminished. Sad

A great alternative to 5 Guys when you want a better burger from a chain restaurant. I usually order to go, but you can just as easily order your food and have a seat until it is brought to your table. I like their bacon barbeque burger and their sweet potato fries, cooked in olive oil and rosemary. The chicken patty on their chicken sandwiches is unfortunately insubstantial. Very nice milkshakes, great service. Not too much food, which makes this a great lunchtime option.

Overpriced burgers. Literally they are smashed meat burgers. As they say at Wendy’s, «where’s the beef?». Too many other great burger places… Gordo’s and Quatman’s beat this out.

As a chain, Smashburger isn’t fancy, and it isn’t a cult hit like Terry’s Turf Club, but what I love about it is that it serves you a good quality patty, just the way you want it. No wait, no attitude. It’s definitely a step up — and a calmer atmosphere — than Red Robin or Five Guys. I always get my burger with a fried egg(hard to get at many burger chains) and sweet potato fries on the side. Delish! (Cross-posted to the Blue Ash location, which I found to be much the same.)

Great concept — take the fresh burger concept of Five Guys but add more bun, topping and side choices — but my burger had no taste! And it wasn’t like I didn’t have toppings either — jalapeño cheese, guacamole, jalapeño slices, lettuce and chipotle mayo on an egg bun. Heck, I salted and peppered it too. I literally tasted nothing. I tried a swipe of guac, and it tasted ‘semi cold’. The burger was dry and bland. Wow, what a disappointment! My fried pickle(slices) side with Ranch was delicious. Easily the best part of my meal. I also got a chocolate malt for $ 4, which came with a sidecar of more malt. It took 10 minutes to get our food(you order at the counter then they bring your food to your number), but that was speedy compared to the 18 minutes it took for the family of three next to us to get theirs.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that this is a «sophisticated» fast-food joint, but it definitely treats patrons as adults. There are no ketchup packets here, they actually provide ketchup and mustard squeeze bottles and napkins at the table *gasp*. Very comfortable booths/seating. Definitely a messy meal, not a first date place. I first had a SmashBurger on 16th St. in Denver, and decided to go get one now that they are here. The worst thing about this restaurant is it’s location. It is smack dab in the middle of suburban hell. All office parks and strip malls not so cleverly disguised with rear access roads. I know SmashBurger is a chain, and that suburban nightmare is full of chains, but it is a good burger and they have great customer service and a very comfortable atmosphere.

This had to be the messiest burger I’ve ever eaten in my life! Holy hell. It was juicy and the toppings were sliding off and the burger was way bigger than the bun so eveyrthing kept falling onto my plate. I had to use at least 10 napkins during this very quick meal! Of course, that didn’t make the burger any less delicious, this is just what first struck me. Smashburger is a burger joint along the likes of 5 Guys or Fat Burger(RIP Fat Burger). It’s fast food, but somehow you feel better about ordering and eating here than you do at, say, McDonald’s. Not much better, mind you, but you do. You order at the counter and there are a bunch of options for burgers and sandwiches. I got a Smashburger(which is basically their go-to order) and some sweet potato fries. Both were brought to my table clearly right out of the grill/firer. They were hot and fresh and rather tasty. Not as tasty as 5 Guys, but good. The really impressive part of Smashburger was there staff, who were amazingly attentive. They kept coming over to clear things or check if we needed anything else. I’ve never seen that level of attention at a fast food joint, or even a place that doesn’t believe it’s fast food but really is(like Subway). I’m usually not a fan of chains, but I’d come back here. It was indeed pretty solid.

As a fan of burgers, I was willing to take a ride out to the ‘burbs when a friend asked if I wanted to try this place. I’m branching out from my plain burgers and tried the BBQ bacon cheddar burger, which is served with onion straws. I also had the Smash fries, which are deliciously flavored with rosemary, olive oil and garlic. But I would have been equally as happy to try have the fries with sea salt. My friend tried the classic burger with smash sauce and he said it was great and liked it better than Five Guys. It looked a little sloppy to me with all that sauce, I was happy my BBQ sauce was on the burger under the cheese because it made it less messy. He got the fried pickles, which were piping hot and came with ranch. We hit it at just the right time because a lined formed after we sat down. Make sure you ask the staff to help you get a table.
