I have dreams about the food from this restaurant. We happened upon this place on our way home from Ikea. The hike through the store had left the whole family hungry and grouchy. We were greeted by a super friendly staff and served amazing food and left much happier. Since then, we always make it a point to stop by if we are in the area. We love everything we’ve eaten there… especially the hummus, schwarma and kebabs. They also make these grilled pita’s which are great for carry out and eating on the go. They are like wraps made from thin, toasted pita bread and packed with flavor. The desserts look great too, but we never have room. This place is great for a fancy meal but it’s also very casual. And the price is always very reasonable. If they had a location in Dayton, I would eat there every week.

Always love a surprise! Walked into Alladin this afternoon for lunch and unexpectedly found a gem. What a great place to have a different but really great lunch. Had the lamb skewered pita roll up. Completely different and very surprisingly good. The interior is very nicely done and the staff were very welcoming, especially for a first timer entering their establishment. Looking forward to coming back to try the other different items on their menu. BTW, their pastries looked outstanding!

The food is so different and flavorful. The service is friendly and attentive. Make the right choice and visit this eatery. Aladdin’s has also got an awesome dessert selection. EATHERE!

Very good and very friendly service! Healthy rarely tastes so good! I’ll be back. I got the ½ chili, ½ lentil soup… perfect. Also the Alladins special and grape leaves. The grape leaves aren’t the best I’ve had but they are good.

Jasmine’s Favorite with lamb was possibly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious.

My husband and I happened upon this place after seeing a show at the Underground. It was the best way to end a great evening. The service was the best. Our waiter was incredibly kind, and suggested his best advice, and he didn’t lead us astray. Everything was awesome. I don’t normally drink tea with sweetener but he said the mint tea was the bomb with honey and wow, was it. It hit the spot. The food was fresh and healthy. We’ll be back for sure. I’m right now trying to reschedule a reason to go back during my work week. Nice job, Aladdin’s.

I’ve eaten here 3 times now and each time has been excellent. You have to like Mediterranean food though. They serve a wide range of vegetarian dishes which is why I go along with the usual lamb and beef stuff. The staff is attentive without being overbearing. The wine and beer list is solid but not extensive. You will find something you like to drink. They also have teas and coffee, of course. It can get a little loud but not deafening and kids are welcome. Try one the Pitzahs for a twist. My only issue is with dessert. They look beautiful and taste ok but not really anywhere near as good as their food. The desserts are from a local baker.

The entrees are yummy and reasonably priced, but the slices of cake are expensive! All the entrees I have tried are well seasoned, and I especially enjoyed the garlicy tahini sauce(I forgot to ask the waiter exactly what it was). The chocolate cake that ended my meal was pretty to look at. However, the flavor was mediocre and disappointing compared to the rest of the food that day. It feels like the cake was relying solely on the frosting for flavor and moisture. It was dry, bland, and overpriced.

Great food, went here a few times for lunch while I was still living in Cincinnati. Price matches the portion size fairly and the servers are full of great recommendations! As for the food I got the Beef Shwarma both times and with the Hot Sauce on the side the meal tasted fantastic. Each time I had extras to take home for dinner and was given a fresh set of pitas on the way out. Great lunch at a fair price!

After a friend recommended this place, I came for a late lunch. We ordered a rolled pita and a lamb plate. The food came out quickly, and the staff was very attentive and quick to refill our drinks. As for the food, the rolled pita was a great deal at just $ 6, and the portion size was quite large. The lamb plate contained a smaller than expected portion given the price($ 15), but both dishes were well-seasoned and tasted delicious. We also ordered a slice of cake for dessert(mix of yellow/white cake with chocolate ganache). The cake was acceptable, but didn’t taste as fresh as I would have hoped. The staff mentioned that the cakes are shipped in from another bakery, so I can only assume that they are not baked fresh on-site. The cake was also quite pricey at $ 6/slice. Overall, our experience was good, but if I had to pick one con about this restaurant, it would be the pricey and somewhat disappointing dessert cake.

Another great meal. I get here about 4 times a year and always find the experience to be top notch. I can always get in, the food is awesome, and comes out in a very reasonable time. This visit came with a downside. My waitress, Amarinda, try’s hard to help, but for some reason forgets everything. I mean everything. I’m sure I’m not the only one to notice. Most folks never speak up. This is what it’s all about. It helps the industry. Maybe another profession would be better suited for this type of server.

I love Mediterranean food and this place does it well. Shawarma, falafel, soups and desserts are all reasonably priced with fairly large servings. Service is extremely friendly and prompt and the atmosphere is warm. Some of what is on offer is a little unusual, since they have a number of healthy fruit smoothies and their rolled sandwiches don’t come with a side item, but you really won’t need one, because these wraps run larger than average. I’ll definitely go back when I’m in the area and I need some of that comforting vegetarian chili!

DLW and I moved into our new home just after New Year’s, and needed some dinner after over a week on the road. This place was nearby, and Mediterranean food sounded good to both of us. This location is close to the I-75 exit in a new-looking strip mall with a couple of other local chain-like businesses. We arrived at 6 pm on a Saturday, just as the dinner rush was starting, and snagged a two-top near a large section with«reserved» signs plastered on the tables. Of about 100 seats in the place they had 20 held for a large party in the thick of the Saturday night prime time, a rather mystifying idea since they went on a wait shortly after we arrived. The section didn’t even fill up until after 6:30. If I had been one of those people sitting at the door while big tables sat empty, I would have been steamed. Fortunately we had our table, and had a very good meal. I had a combo meal with kabob and chicken, while DLW had a pita roll. The pita was not the best, chilled as if it came out of a refrigerator and not fresh tasting, but the rest of the entrees were quite tasty and reasonably priced. Service was okay at least. A lunch trip is in the offing.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Great food and very friendly service. I have had great food each and every time I’ve been here. I usually end up with falafel of some sort as it is always delicious. I recommend adding the spicy sauce, especially if in a sandwich, although the salad version is the best deal. The tabbouleh and hummus are also great. It’s all made there so it’s very fresh. This is also a great place for a vegetarian with plenty of options available for them. Every plate is packed so either expect to be very full, take some home or share. The owners and servers have also always been very friendly, talking about the deserts when my son would look in the case. My in-laws had an issue once and they resolved it quite well.

Service is always quick and friendly. Food is of excellent quality with plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. They are known for their rice blends with spices. Desert selection is a surprise with many cake, cookie and baklava. Give this place a try before you eat at any of the nearby chain restaurants.

Great restaurants are few and far between in West Chester and Aladdin’s Eatery breaks the mold. Locally owned, this place is very different than the usual shops in Union Center. I’ve had their falafal and vegetarian appetizer combo and both are pretty good. I love that they use hummus with the falafal as sometimes tzatziki sauce can be super runny. The vegetarian combo is my favorite of the two, large enough to be split I usually end up eating it all by myself, whoops! My only recommendation would be to get the tabbouleh in a separate container as it tends to be very olive oil based and may leak onto the rest of the appetizers. If you haven’t had stuffed grape leaves, I urge to try them. Aladdin’s does a great job executing them successfully. The prices aren’t too steep for the quality of the products. Make sure to leave room for one their awesome desserts. Baklava is delish and they have a great selection of vegan desserts located at the counter.

After spending a couple of hours exploring the labyrinth that is IKEA, Swedish meatballs, lingonberry sauce and cinnamon rolls just weren’t going to do it. My sister and I craved sustenance.(Deciphering Expedits from Malms from Melltorps can be hard work!) So we were thrilled to find a well-reviewed, local eatery nearby, among the strip malls that surround IKEA. Aladdin’s Eatery will perhaps now be as much a part of the trips to West Chester as IKEA is. To begin with, we ordered an appetizer of falafel and dawali(stuffed grape leaves). We were surprised with how quickly they came out after we put in our order — maybe five minutes tops. Falafels aren’t my favorite Mediterranean cuisine, but these were filling. And the grape leaves were almost too hot to touch at first. They seemed like they had just been made, and I’m always a fan of the tanginess of the grape leaves with the savoriness of the filling. And before we could even get one third of the way through our appetizers, our main dishes were served. If you’re in a hurry, this is definitely a great spot for a fast, sit-down meal. For our entrees, we each got the Chicken Mishwi(char-grilled seasoned chicken thigh) on Jasmine’s Favorite Rice. I had wanted chicken shawarma on rice, and our waitress said this was the closest to that. It was not the chicken shaved off a spit that I’m used to with chicken shawarma, but this was very nicely seasoned chicken. Very good. And Jasmine’s Favorite Rice was more than just jasmine rice. As the menu states, it’s «a medley of cooked beans, vegetables, and brown rice seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices.» I got the tahini on the side. I heart tahini! Our waitress also served us a basket of pita, which was great to eat with the rice and chicken. All in all, this dish went beyond my expectations. Aladdin’s Eatery does not seem to cut corners with its food. My only suggestion would be that it would have been great to get a small amount of hummus with entrée dishes, like what I’ve seen included at other Mediterranean restaurants. And then for the road, my sis and I got some baklava. You can’t skimp and not get the baklava. Can’t wait to get some more Mediterranean with a side of Swedish furniture! P. S. Aladdin’s Eatery also has a Unilocal check-in offer for 10 percent off your order. Be sure to check in and take advantage of this!

Another awesome find thanks to Unilocal! Yummy falafels with perfect accompanying garlic sauce and hot sauce. The spicy kafta pita roll was filling and flavorful. but the hot sauce which came with the falafel added that extra zing, and I chomped it all down! My friend had the lamb pita roll which he enjoyed. For dessert I got the Baklava — though nice, I’ve definitely had better. Nice service and pretty economical too. I’d be a regular if I lived around here!

Stopped by here for a quick lunch. Immediately when you walk in a display case of drool-worthy cake and a rack of sweet treats greets you. So if you’re will power is as weak as mine be fair warned you will want to sit facing the other way. The food was great. This time my order triumphed over what my bf got. I am going to butcher the name but I believe it is called a Sjah?!?(will correct this after I investigate further) Just do it! It is GOOD. The salad that it comes with was in my opinion a sad excuse for a side but given how flavorful the meat filled burrito-esque meal was I definitely appreciated having something bland to balance my pallet. Overall a great place for a lunch bite. **Update** What I Ordered: Sfiha located under Specialty Plates on the menu. Kibbie located under appetizers~ Both highly recommended!

It’s Saturday lunch time a.k.a. time to go to Aladdin’s. I discovered this somewhat hidden gem about two years ago and it has quickly became a weekend casual lunch(weekly) favorite. It can get crowded during peak dining hours and I have heard that during the week it is a VERY popular among the lunch crowd. They serve Lebanese-American food, and their menu is incredibly extensive. But there is not a single dish I have ordered that I did not like. Their pomegranate green iced tea is refreshing and brewed fresh every morning. Appetizers: Their hummus is great and is served with fresh pitas(don’t worry if you run out, they will refill them at no charge). Their babba is also wonderful. If you are a garlic lover, do not pass up ordering Foole M Damas. Pitzas: These tasty pizzas crusts are pitas. My personal favorite is the Sultan’s Shawarma Pitza. It was tahini Yogurt as the sauce and is topped with lightly seasoned grilled beef strips, onions, sliced tomatoes, diced cucumbers and flakes of sweet basil. Delicious. Speciality dishes: Mediterranean Lamb Plate is my favorite dish they serve: Tender strips of marinated char-grilled lamb. Served with seasoned white rice with vermicelli, sautéed pine nuts, almonds, and a hint of cinnamon. Your choice of Garlic Sauce or Tahini Yogurt dressing(get the garlic sauce!). Pita on the side. Vegan? Gluten free? The Mujadara Plate is also a personal favorite. It is a bed of steamed lentils and rice topped with Lebanese Salata and garnished with fried onions
