Tried this place out for the very first time with my husband tonight. Our waiter was friendly. I had the sweet coconut Maki roll and shrimp tempura Maki roll which I was able to get with brown rice. They were both delicious. My husband got the chicken lettuce wrap and mango chicken. The ingredients were fresh and it was very tasty. We’ll definitely go back. :)

I have been going to Asuka ever since it opened and to date, every time we have gone it has been great. Each time we bring new friends, they become new customers. Gary remembers EVERYONE! His memory is uncanny and he’s a fantastic host and makes you feel at home in their small yet very cozy restaurant. We are sushi people so we haven’t had much of their Chinese dishes but every single roll we had had is delicious and very fresh. Try the Sashimi roll when you go!

My husband and I were looking for a new Chinese restaurant since there aren’t any good ones in Broomall. We discovered this hidden gem online after reading reviews. We decided to drive up for dinner and we were very satisfied! I had the chicken teriyaki and veggies which was both delicious and fresh. My husband had the Dragon and Phoenix, which he stated was equally as delicious and fresh as my dinner. We will definitely we visiting again!

Very good, especially the Crispy Duck. It’s worth driving out of town to get, everything we’ve tried has been A+.

Excellent food and service at a fair price. I had the Asuka Bazooka roll which was delicious with salmon, crab, jalapeños and bacon. My wife had a garlic chicken Bento box with tempura fried vegetables which she said was delicious. for dessert we had the Sheenan roll which was ice cream inside a rolled Rice crispy treat drizzled with chocolate, a nice end to a really good meal. We will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis.

Solid Japanese food. I got the Coconut Shrimp, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Spicy Salmon roll. Unilocal loved the Coconut Shrimp app. This was a serving of 4 large shrimps and a viscous sweet coconut-esque sauce. This was a pleasant dish. It was reminiscent of something one may get at Ruby Tuesdays, an Americanized Asian dish. There was nothing spectacular about it. But as far as fried shrimp goes, it was pretty good. I am always a bit cynical of an Asian place that serves something like this, though. It’s clearly pandering to less refined suburban palates. The sushi was all pretty good. The rolls were large, the rice was quality, and the fish was ok. There was a lot of filler in the spicy fish blend in the rolls. It was likely panko. Don’t expect an exotic, or even authentic Japanese meal here, but this place is pretty good. I’d go here again with a friend who is a bit less adventurous than I.

This restaurant is a small place in a shopping center I have been to many times. I never noticed it before. My boyfriend happened to see it offered a gluten free menu. I have not been able to have Chinese food in many years because of celiac disease. After careful questioning of their food and kitchen processes. We decided to give it a try. I can’t begin to tell you how fantastic it was! They have the best options on their gluten free menu! It’s a full 2 pages long. Not just two or three items. They even have gluten free soy sauce. The staff is super friendly and go above and beyond for all their customers not just for their gluten free customers! I have asked many questions about how they prepare their food, what they use and how they keep things separate and they never mind talking to me for as long as I need to satisfy my mind. I am so thankful to the owner for going the extra mile to make sure people who are gluten intolerant can also enjoy Chinese food! This may be a small restaurant, in fact, on weekends, they ask you to make reservations but the atmosphere inside is great. Decoration is very nice and not«cheesy» looking. I’m so impressed with this place, I’ve told everyone about it. Especially anyone needing to eat gluten free. Even though I have had wonderful experiences eating there myself, I would recommend anyone wanting to go there with gluten free eating in mind, to do your own investigation and ask all the questions you need to make yourself comfortable with the decision to eat there.

This place was recommended to us by a friend who lives in the neighborhood my girlfriend just moved to. We decided to do takeout as we were tired from moving and wanted to chill out in the new place. The wonton soup was ok. Broth was very nice, noodles were ok. Egg Roll was tasty as was the spring roll. They gave us one container of homemade hot mustard which was great. Gave us packets when I asked for more which are ok. Pork fried rice was not bad — the portion was huge. The Hunan Triple Delight — chicken, shrimp and beef sautéed with mixed vegetables in a Hunan black bean sauce — was very good. Huge shrimp. White meat chicken. Typical beef. Not as spicy as we like so next time we’ll increase the heat. The restaurant does a bang up business. As we waited for our order, people kept streaming in to get their takeouts. The menu is huge as they offer sushi, Japanese and Chinese food. It’s not the best we have ever had but it’s very good. A notch below Han Dynasty but a stellar option for Chinese food in the area.

Great sushi! Very fresh tasting. A tad pricey(they don’t offer 50% off menus like some of the places I go to), but I think it’s worth it. Chicken teriyaki lunch box — awesome. The chicken was nice and crispy, the coconut shrimp was flavorful, and the soup was also pretty good. Shrimp & Veggies(chinese menu) — Didn’t really eat it as it was for my son, but he loved the snap peas in them. Spicy tuna roll — i hate when i go to places and order something spicy and it doesn’t come out spicy. This place does it right. it’s not overly spicy but you can taste the slight kick. Foxy lady roll — just get it! you won’t be dissappointed. The kani salad, lobster salad and shrimp tempura goes all really well together. Shrimp tempura roll — not your typical tempura roll. They top it with this slightly sweet sauce, which surprisingly goes great with it. Overall: Although a lil far from me I would definately come back to try other things. Service was great too! Refilled water often and was fast with food.

Modern interior? Check. Comfortable seating? Check. Cute Asian waitresses? Check. Awesome coconut shrimp? You bet. This place certainly took me by surprise. When my friend and I were looking for a place to eat on New Years day, we knew not many places would be open. There is one thing you can always depend on though, Chinese and Japanese cuisine. I’m used to the dated 70’s carpets and pink fluorescent seating of most Chinese restaurants. It was nice to see an establishment like this have such a clean and updated feel. Atmosphere and music was great and our waitress was super nice and attentive. I started off with the coconut shrimp appetizer, a dish I can never seem to turn down once I see that it’s offered. Delicious! As for the entrée I played it safe and went with the sweet and sour chicken. Chicken was good, I just wish they cooked it well done like I asked for. There was also some pineapple chunks mixed in with the sauce which I wasn’t too excited about, but everything seemed to compliment each other. I’ve heard the sushi here is awesome, I can’t wait to come back and see what else they have to offer.

Just tried this place out for the first time! Wonderful experience. Delicious food. Will absolutely be returning. (For Karen) Waiters live off their tips. It doesn’t matter how much food you order in a month. You aren’t tipping the business. Your waiter just worked for free. There is no «not this time» unless you had horrible service. I would be furious with you. Havent you seen Waiting? If you do this at other restaurants I would check for spit and hair next time you go in.

For the past year this has been a regular lunch takeout spot. The food is delicious and the owners/staff are very pleasant and make it a point to know their customers by name and learn their preferences. The shrimp with broccoli lunch special includes 5 large succulent shrimp, chicken fried rice and your choice of soup or an egg roll. I usually opt for the hot and sour soup which is delicious. Our order of 4 – 5 lunch items is usually ready in 10 – 15 minutes and stays piping hot for the next 15 – 20 minutes, which is perfect. Hope they stay around for a long time.
