Best Paving & Masonry

Martin did a quick concrete patio job so he could quickly take advantage of my parents in their 70s and run with $ 6k. I received no answers when I requested for a detail invoice of the work since I live far away from my parents. He requested for cash and my parents agreed as long as he took care of any permit necessary. Martin quickly dropped the concrete and left and said that the permit was not part of his agreement. Of course, there was nothing on paper so he could agree to whatever he made up. I don’t recommend this company and I don’t trust this guy.

The driveway that was done by Best Paving and Masonry was poorly done. They paved several properties in our neighborhood. After less than seven months the driveways of a couple neighbors as well, started deteriorating in the heat. The people working, including the owner’s son who was soliciting the jobs, were very friendly at first but after contacting them for the problem they became very harsh and unprofessional. They denied the problem and tried to sell me other services to correct the problem. As for the other driveways they were offering solutions that were only temporary. The work did not last even one winter. I would not recommend this company to use. They also will void their warranty if you use a different company to seal the driveway. Total rip off.
