Running and I have a fickle relationship. I often cheat on it with cycling, Pilates, piloxing, or some new fitness craze. Yet somehow running is always there for me when I just need to clear my head. Enter this amazing store which always has the perfect items to maintain my bumpy relationship. I’ve gotten new shoes to improve my form and lots of gear to adjust to any weather conditions (running and I always do it outside). Whenever I need to prove to running that I’m faithful and committed the Chester Co. Running store is always there to help.

Owned by runners, staffed by runners, stocked by runners, this local store is the heart of West Chester’s running scene. Coach Kevin and his staff organize the local races, they put together classes and injury clinics, and they will take as much (or as little!) time as you need to select a pair of new shoes.
Today, my wife and I stopped by to replace her Air Pegasus, which didn’t have enough stabilization. The friendly, knowledgeable woman behind the counter watched my wife’s gait, brought out a spectrum of choices, and compared her own experiences — she had worn every shoe, and had helpful, relevant advice.
Seriously, you wouldn’t get this level of service in a flagship city store. CCRS is _​fantastic_​.

I love this place! Kevin is awesome and his weekly emails with all the races going on in the area are great. The people who work at the store are always helpful and nice. And I get a 10% discount because I’m a teacher!

I love this store. Besides the fact that it is right in the middle of West Chester and you can just walk or run to it, their customer service is fantastic. They always have at least a couple of people ready to help and they really go above and beyond in order to help you find the right shoe for you. Their prices are very competitive and they often provide good discounts on running products.
