From start to finish I am very pleased with CWD.
I interviewed at least half a dozen companies. CWD was competitive on price, and David’s expertise played a huge role in helping us figure out the specifics of what we wanted to do. He was also patient when I decided to go with a different product line than he typically deals with.
After the deal was made, CWD was very communicative and I never found myself wondering what the status of the project was.
Installation went off without any hitches, except the storm window supplier filled the order wrong (we needed 3 new storms for some windows we didn’t want to replace). I have a copy of the original order form showing the order was placed correctly; they just sent the wrong window, so this was not CWD’s fault. However, David went to bat for us with the supplying company for over 3 whole weeks — AFTER HE HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID IN FULL — to make sure we got that last storm window put on! And as soon as he received it from them, he made sure it was put on THE FOLLOWING BUSINESS DAY! All the other windows and our new sliding door were put on within the initially quoted 3 days, and work and look great. Oh and by they way: the crew never once left a mess for us to deal with.
CWD is a quality company. They could have easily walked away from us without completing the job, and just blamed it on the supplier screwing us over. But he didn’t do that. Like David said to me, «That’s just not how we do business.»
You really can’t go wrong with this company. Put down that deposit with confidence that your project will be completed the right way the first time, and that CWD will stand behind its word.
