First time using the zero gravity massage chairs, they are incredible!!! Second time floating, it leaves me feeling relaxed and renewed.

My first Float was yesterday and WOW! What an Amazing experience! Ryan Z. was so professional yet down-to-Earth nice. Everything was so clean. The Float rooms with showers were modern while the Float space itself, was spacious with a cool blue light at the foot of it. My first time, so I had to play a little bit. With a thousand pounds of Epson salt/sea salt in the water I was truly floating! I ended up turning off the lights for the full experience while drifting first to one side of the pool then feeling myself float to the other side and so on. Then about ½ way through the experience, I totally zoned out, still aware but in a deeply relaxed state. I came out with zero pain — having been in a car accident a few months ago, that in itself was joyous! I also slept like a rock that night which I haven’t had the pleasure of in a while! Incredible! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!

I did my first float yesterday. Sam was so friendly and accommodating. I can’t say enough good things about this place and my experience. Everything is so clean! The float itself was very relaxing and just what I needed during a very stressful time. I loved how the shower opened up into the float chamber eliminating any claustrophobia. The toiletries and extra little things were a great added bonus. Can’t wait to come back again!

My flotation experience at East Coast Float Spa was great! The front desk person was very welcoming and courteous. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained. The float room is spacious — you can comfortably step into the room, and when lying in the water you can stretch out however you want. I could relax my neck fully, and the water(containing 1000 pounds of Epsom Salt) supported my head just fine. The water line was above my ears but comfortably below my face. The provided earplugs did their job and kept the water completely out. After getting oriented in the water, I immediately noticed a level of relaxation just from the experience of floating. As I remained still, this level of relaxation deepened further and further. I felt like I was just«there», at the center of a sensory experience whose boundaries seemed to extend indefinitely into space. This was a very calm place to be. I found that I could choose not to fall asleep, and was able to maintain more awareness than usual during the hypnagogic state. I didn’t experience any strong ganzfeld effects though, or anything like that. It was easier to maintain awareness on the breath. With the sense of touch quietened, I could hear my breathing in more detail. I flashed back in irony to a few weeks ago, when I was in almost the exact same posture in an MRI machine. I had earplugs on then too, but the last thing I could hear was my breathing! And then too, my head remained still for an extended period of time. But instead of requiring effort and incurring neck tension, it was happening without effort and relieving tension! Whoever invents an MRI flotation room will have lots of happy customers :-) All in all, a genuinely tranquil sojourn whose calming effects carried throughout the day. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed my first visit to a float spa and floating experience in general. I will definitely be back to visit East Coast Float Spa again. Friendly staff, good service, clean facilities. Floating was very relaxing for the mind and the body — I recommend floating in complete darkness and I enjoyed the Cloud 10 Room

The floating experience is incredible, but the customer service is horrendous. My wife signed me up for a membership. I was not able to go every month so I called to cancel the membership, yet they continued to charge me. I notified them again that I had canceled my membership. A few months go by and my card is charged yet again for the monthly membership. I then notified them a third time that I simply wanted to cancel the membership. They send me an email saying that my card will no longer be charged and my membership is canceled. Lo and behold, the next morning, my card is charged again. I now have to cancel my credit card because of East Coast Float’s ineptitude. Like I said, the floating experience itself is great, the staff if friendly when you are there and I enjoyed my time there. But the inability of management to simply comply with my request to cancel my membership has caused me more stress than the place actually relieved through floating.

I’m a big fan of floating and I’ve been to a few different centers including float lab out in Venice, CA and bluelight in NYC. With that said I think East Coast float spa, though pricey, is the best floating experience. About the pricing at East Coast Float Spa if you were to buy a single session it would be $ 85 for an hour, In NYC at blue light its only $ 80 and in Venice, CA at Float lab its only $ 40 for 2 hours, in Philly at Halcyon $ 79 for 90 minutes. If you check their site its obvious they are looking for you to buy multiple float packages as they offer aggressive discounts for them. This is great for everyone other then the newcomer. They use to have a first timer package which I thought was helpful for thouse who are new to floating and trying to decide if they should make the jump to buying a package or not, but at the time of writing this review its no longer available. My only other gripe is the float room lighting at the end of a session. When your hour session is over a bright light comes on full force which is a bit abrupt and startling especially after a calm hour of floating in complete darkness. Other float locations mark the end of a session with soft music playing which slowly gets louder or a soft light that slowly gets brighter, which I would rather. Lastly take a look at their point system before you buy and also check if they have any Unilocal coupons. If you play your cards right(and the rules dont change) you can get 6 floats for $ 37.50 a piece.(buy 2 $ 100 coupons for $ 75 a piece from Unilocal, get a 5 float pack and play the point system for a free float via liking them on facebook, insta, twitter, google, and doing a Unilocal review.)

I just had my first experience floating yesterday. The facility was extremely clean. The staff are very knowledgable, friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Josh was the manager who helped us, and I truly cannot say enough great things about him. I recommend this whole heartedly to anyone considering it!!!

Wow… just what I needed! I went for a float yesterday and the experience was refreshing and relaxing in a way that traditional spas can’t provide. Not only was it a major stress reliever but it did wonders for a sore lower back I gave myself lifting too much earlier in the week. I’ll definitely be doing this again. The experience was seamless from start to finish, and the facility is well-maintained, clean, and staffed by professionals. If you’re doing the 60-minute float, budget some more time before and after… there’s some prep involved and at the end you won’t be in a hurry to leave.

This place is the real deal. I have floated countless times and have been to quite a few float centers. This one is far and away the best. The manager Josh was great. Clean and relaxing environment. They show you a 7 minute video before your float which is something that i haven’t seen anywhere else. All float centers should do that. Definitely very helpful for first-timers. They have 3 custom built floatrooms that provide a comfortable and inviting environment. I would recommend this place to anybody, ESPECIALLY skeptics. Will be back many times.

After floating 3 times I feel it’s a good point to make a review. I was first introduced to the concept of floating from a friend in another state, then heard Joe Rogan talk about it and given the stress lately in my life, wanted to give it a shot. Making an appointment was painless, I was prepped over the phone for what to bring with me and how to prepare, and that arriving 15 minutes early was ideal. On the day of my float I did just that. Upon arriving I met Josh, he had read over the TOS and then started to explain the business and how floating worked, what I could and should expect as well as some pointers to make it more enjoyable. I was shown to the Infinity room and also the other areas of the spa, including recovery lounge and then left to prep and start floating. I won’t bother explaining how or why floating works, East Coast Float Spa does a really good job on their site, in person and on the phone. What I can tell you is the place is incredibly clean, I’ve never felt rushed and I find it’s worth driving an hour each way, twice a month to float. If you’ve been curious in the least bit about floating, schedule an appointment and give it a go.

I recently had my first floating experience and it was a great experience. The spa is very clean and well maintained. From the moment you walk in a sense of relaxation and calm comes over you. The staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I was a little nervous about floating at first but the staff answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. Floating is definitely a unique experience. I floated after my first half marathon and immediately felt relief. My joints and feet which were very sore and swollen felt better instantly. I was so relaxed that towards the end of my session I fell asleep. I would definitely recommend floating and will be floating again very soon.

This Float Spa has revolutionized my running recovery! I stopped by after I ran a full marathon, and immediately felt this Float Spa was different from my previous experiences. As soon as I walked through the door I was struck by how spacious, clean, modern and friendly the spa was, and how knowledgeable and friendly the staff was. The Floating experience itself was amazing! I was so relaxed I fell asleep: P I came out of my float blister free(quite a feat after running 26.2 miles) and my legs felt more refreshed than they did prior to my run(not to mention how soft the salt blend made my skin feel)! I will DEFINITELY return for race recovery and general relaxation!

What a wonderful experience. I really didn’t know what to expect and I can say this is a great means to unwind and relax. I signed up for one of their memberships and I can’t wait to go back, I would highly recommend trying it.
