I went in to this office to simply get my teeth cleaned. I was told that getting a cleaning would do nothing because I need to have my whole mouth scaled. That has NEVER been the case. They told me that I needed to come back at another time to have that process done where they will scale my WHOLEMOUTH!!! NUMBMYENTIREFACE all at once! — because thats the way they do it. Sorry, don’t really feel like biting my tounge off. They then very courtiously led me to the«financial office» to go over options and let me know how much I would owe for that service. Clearly alot more than they would have received for a regular cleaning. The hygenist was very sweet but clearly this practice is all about selling and not really caring for the actual needs of each individual patient. Obviously, I did not schedule the appointment for them to numb and scrape my entire mouth. Simply going to another office get my cleaning

Like the lady who wrote another review, I guess I experience Dr. Shelly on one of his«bad days» — he seems to have a lot of those. I literally started to cry after he left the room. He argued with me about my dental work that I had done, and was so mean and rude I was taken aback. The hygienist was amazing and if i had a different dentist, maybe I’d go back. But rudeness does not get repeat business from me. Especially when there was no reason for it.

I have always had great dental experiences prior to using this dentist. I went to this dentist from a referral from 2 co-workers who really liked this office and they were in network with my insurance. I called the office and made sure they were in-network with my insurance which was Met-Life. I had a cleaning and went back for a filling which turned into a root-canal /Crown. While Dr. Shelly’s wife drilled my tooth that needed a filling she stopped and said that they went all the way down and the decay is to the root. I now need a root canal and got very upset as I never had one before and was scared. She was not not very caring and actually told me that she didn’t have time to finish so I would have to have her husband Dr. Eric Shelly. I was brought into another room and meet him for the first time. He was a very large man and very rough with his hands and does not have patience. He knew I was upset and really didn’t care, he was there to do a job and that was it. He yelled and was short with his dental assistant, and even yelled at me that I need to control my tongue as it was in his way. Well excuse me but I am numb and cannot control nor feel where my tongue is. He pressed on my jaw at one point while working and it hurt, he knew he hurt me and told me to sit still. I was sort of stuck at this point because my tooth was drilled and I had to finish the work, but I immediately went home and told my Husband about this awful experience. He went into the Dentist office the next morning and gave this office and dentist a piece of him mind and told him that we would never be back. The Dentist stated he was sorry and wanted to apologize to me. So my husband brought me into the office, the Dr apologized and told me he had a bad day. But you know what we all have bad days, when you are a dentist you cannot take it out literally on your patients. I got my permanent crown and will never go back. However after being billed we realized that this office is an Out of Network provider and misleads their patients. As a test we called the office last week and asked if they took Metlife, which the girl said yes we do. Then the we asked if they were in network, she replied yes we take Metlife and can bill them for network services. But my poor husband only had his temp crown from this office and it has since broke. However our insurance paid this office the total amount for the crown so now we have to fight and write an appeal to get the money they paid this dentist for the permanent crown back, so my husband can go to the new dentist and get a new Crown. What a mess, this Dentist and office, lost myself, my husband and 5 others of my co-workers who used to go to this practice… Maybe this dentist will think twice about having a bad day and taking it out on his patients and staff again. As people talk and especially when you work for a big company!
