This is such a cool place. I stubbled upon it online and then went to check it out without really knowing what to expect. It’s located in the back of the Matlack Industrial Park — you definitely need to look around for it and follow the signs, but it’s worth the search. When I went in, I was immediately greeted by Marianne and given a tour of their roasting area(they were just starting to roast a batch). She was so kind and even showed my young daughter what coffee looks like before it’s roasted. In addition to the roasting facility, there is a small store front area with whole or ground beans to buy by the pound. Marianne offered me a free cup of coffee while I browsed. All together, this was a surprising gem of a find and one I’ll definitely revisit — especially on a Saturday when their Artisan Market is in action!

This my second time here. I’m in love with the place. you have to try their mushroom soup. I had steak for both times. first time was great but the second was not that good.

I never liked coffee until I tried their iced coffee this past summer. Now I love it! Coffee is excellent — no bitterness at all. Love that John and Margie have Organic, Shade-Grown coffees. I go Saturday when they host a market of all local small businesses that offer everything home-made. AWESOME. No matter what you’re craving, this place will have something to satisfy you and it will be delicious. Know what is really in your food and have a fun time. Everyone is so pleasant and takes pride in their food or product. Great that it is indoors during winter months.

I’m giving these guys five stars because they are the best locally roasted coffee you’ll find out here in the suburbs. I pick up my beans at various farmers markets in the area and they’re always super friendly and helpful. And they always have something brewing, so you can enjoy a cup of their coffee while you walk around the market. My favorite is the organic 100% Guatemalan, which tastes so good brewed in both my aeropress and my french press.

They make wonderful coffee(whole bean and ground). I’ve been buying from them for about a year now, and every Saturday, they host an artisan marketplace from 10 to 2.
