I Dont Want To Cook

Anyone know what’s going on with this company??? we’re supposed to have another cook date tomorrow because we liked it so much and now it appears that the entire business has completely disappeared. very suspicious…
this was my previous review:
bought a group coupon for this deal — thought it would be a fun «date night» with my husband. Chef Shreve showed up right on time — even in a slick new layer of snow. he was an excellent teacher, answered all of our questions and more. AND he cleaned up. we even managed to sort of replicate the chicken cooking techniques he showed us.
my only critique — would have been nice to have a copy of the recipes. though I understand those are just «guidelines» I don’t cook enough to remember anything. also, the regular price is well worth the service but without the coupon I’m not sure we’d be able to afford it very often. definitely a luxury worth the splurge once in a while!

Had a great experience with this service! Our chef was very friendly and personable and our food was AMAZING! If I could afford it, I would do this every week. Food quality is better than you would get at a restaurant and you actually see what’s going into your food. We decided not to participate and instead just sat back and relaxed while our dinner was being prepared. It was much better than expected and we’d definitely do it again!

Not only is it yummy and hands on with a fun, personable chef but THEY TEACH YOUR BOYFRIEND HOW TO COOK! woooop wooop!
Our personal chef had to cancel last minute due to personal reasons, but the owner of the company drove all the way out to our place in Harlem from Pennsylvania last minute to teach and make dinner with/​for us! AMAZING! And sooo delicious!
Highly recommend this treat, Groupon or no Groupon… WOW! I’m waiting for the next promo!!! :)

This was an amazing experience. Chef JEff came to our home and made my wife and I an amazing diner and showed us new cooking techniques as well as supplied great conversation. Would strongly recommend for everyone. I think this would also make a great gift if you need to get someone a special present!

Our experience with I Don’t Want to Cook was wonderful. First of all, Chef Jeff found someone who would be willing and able to cook Indian food for us. Shreve’s food was amazing — definitely better than we’ve had in Indian restaurants. He was also incredibly personable and did a great job explaining how he made the food and what the ingredients were. It was clear that he was an expert. He left our kitchen absolutely spotless too.

Excellent experience. Professional company was very accommodating from start to finish. Chef Ben was prompt, friendly, and a great chef. The experience was wonderful, and I recommend them.
