Service was great! The waitress was very attentive to us and kept an eye out for drinks getting low.

The food is good but only about 3 stars. I’ve been to way to many coastal restaurants where dinner literally just came out of the water to allow me to give the food any higher rating. What I gave 5 stars was the service. A group of us went for my wife’s birthday and had our 3 year old nephew with us that, for some reason, had his heart set on hot chocolate to drink. The server and his parents said they don’t have that and ordered him something else to drink. No big deal since most restaurants don’t have hot chocolate. What was a big deal was when the server came back in to the room where we were seated with a Starbucks cup saying that he felt bad about not having hot chocolate so he had someone run over to Barnes and Noble to get some!
Mitchell’s you should be very proud of your staff because that was truly above and beyond! Thank you

I have been here twice and had good meals both times. It is a little pricey for what you get but it is still a quality meal.

What an amazing experience. I was in town from Chicago and went for dinner. Waiter Brian was friendly and welcoming. He made suggestions on menu items and wine. Crab cakes were phenomenal. Will definitely come back next time in Ohio!

Used to go to Mitchell’s all the time. I love their ahi tuna. We recently went on a Saturday night at six thirty and found there was not a wait, which seemed strange but we were thrilled. Then we realized why. The Ahi tuna was decent but not up to par as it usually is. I ordered king crab legs for the first time in ages– deciding to treat myself and was told after about fifteen minutes that they were out. Okay. So I ordered what my fiancé had ordered and was on special, the salmon. When we received it I noticed it was a lot more pink than usual and the vegetables that were under the fish on the wood plank were Not edible due to an extreme fish taste. We each only ate a third of our fish before deciding it wasn’t worth it and the waiter didn’t even bother to ask us if anything was wrong! We didn’t ask for to go boxes or anything and just let $ 50 worth of fish be thrown away and he didn’t think it was strange and ask if our food was okay. We just vowed to not go back after that experience. Not sure what was up with the chef that day but each time we’ve been back it had just been getting worse and that was the final straw.

Great seafood here, but need to wait a long time without reservation. Oysters are fresh.很好吃的海鲜店，东西都很新鲜，fishermen’s platter 分量很足

We began our meal by being looked down upon by the disdainful attitude of the hostess. We should have paid attention to this omen and run away. The service was sub par and very slow. From 10 minutes between being seated and welcomed by our server to over 5 minutes to bring iced tea to forgetting a simple tartar sauce request, it was frustrating. The food was delivered with various temperatures from pretending to be warm to somewhat warm to cool. The most flavorful part of the crabcake was the corn salsa. Neither of our meals was a $ 30 event.

If you are looking for good seafood at a decent price, this is the place. Being a Landry’s Club Member, when they pulled on this location, we were very happy. I have eaten here several times with friends, hubby and the entire family with children. You can dress pretty casual and still not feel out of place (like McCormick & Schmick’s).
The food is very good. We always start with the crab cakes and some bacon wrapped shrimp. Most of the entrees are large, so we split them because we absolutely can’t skip dessert here. The lobster and shrimp stuffed anything is great and their filet is always cooked to order. We also like to get the lump crab cake entrée and the Market Trio.
Dessert is a must. Sharkfin pie is fabulous and the kids love it (get the big one, unless you are by yourself because no one can resist it). The crème brûlée is also very good with the berries. The fruit sorbets are also excellent.
The wait staff here is pretty good. The service is not fast and everything is cooked to order. If you are planning to catch a movie at the AMC, plan accordingly or go to your movie first and come after. The Streets area is a nice place to walk around and if you have a longer wait — go across the street to Barnes and Noble and peruse the magazines.

So I received a gift card from the manager to try Mitchells again after last year’s debacle…. I came today and had the shrimp cocktail. 5 pieces of large shrimp but not the jumbo variety you get for a few dollars more at top level steak/​seafood houses. Them I had the twin lobster tails… $ 29.99 and they were so small, it felt like an appetizer portion… And they had no flavor at all… Yuck
Also the zucchini side had 3.5 slices… Again for $ 29.99… Disappointing.

I had the less than titanic lettuce head and sea food gumbo. Unfortunately it was very underwhelming. I was expecting the same level As legal sea food. Nope not the place.

I came here with a large party and sat at the bar at first to wait for everyone to get here. I had the pineapple martini and omg it was delicious and super strong, if you dare eat the soaked pineapple they give you with it, that along can get you drunk (not that I’m complaining)
After everyone got there we went to sit down and our waitress was super nice (wish I remember her name)
I went with the New England clam chowder as my appetizer and it was delicious. It was probably one of the best I ever had.
For my entrée I had the shrimp and lobster stuffed cod and I have to say it was delicious. I don’t know what was better the fish, the stuffing, the mash potatoes or the yummy butter/​wine sauce it came with.
I have to say I really enjoyed my meal, the only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is I wish the décor was a bit nice and the table had linens on them. This isn’t a cheap place so I wish it was more elegant and not as casual.

On my first visit, service was not the best (food took long, no apology, etc) which I just attributed to it being a busy Saturday night. However, boy was I wrong. We just had a late lunch here & was the worst service I have ever received.
We sat in the bar area because I figured it would be better service than the dining area at this time (big mistake).
The issues:
— I ordered a drink and the server/​bartender made the drink then proceeded to wash all of her dishes and clean up while my drink sat on the bar for over 2 minutes before she brought it to me. … (Just a side note: I didn’t take 2 sips of the drink & it was left full at the end of the meal… Was not good but kept forgetting to tell our server the very few & quick times we saw her… Though I’m sure she saw it while refilling our water & soda)
–Our appetizer plate sat on the table until the very end of our meal… unacceptable in my eyes. Especially since she took the small plates from us which had utensils & condiments from the appetizer. I wanted a different sauce for the appetizer but she didn’t check on us from the time the appetizer came until right before bringing our entrée.
–Food took over 20 min (fish & chips and a wedge salad… Shouldn’t take this long at all… Especially with VERY FEW tables in @3pm on a Tuesday)
And we were not alone, the table next to us also received the same subpar service — as we saw that they had to get up to get the server to place their order. Also, saw multiple people wait 5+ minutes at the front host stand to be seated without being greeted at all.
All of this while the servers/​manager (s) hid out in the back and then sat down to enjoy a meal themselves. Saw our server chatting with manager & other server in the office while we barely saw her.
I will absolutely not be returning back to this restaurant. We come from the service industry… We understand feeling overwhelmed, but I don’t think that was the case here. If it was, the manager (again, standing around then eating a meal) could have helped out or the server could have looked like she was hustling and trying to get to everyone quickly. There were just so many unforgivable mistake made here. Terrible.

Came for lunch today, my parents first time, my third. I’ve been to this chain many times and have never been disappointed. No refills on the drinks, waiter never checked on us, waited twenty minutes on an order of hush puppies. I ordered the big fish sandwich, fries were cold and the sandwich was so so. Good service can make up for so so food but that wasn’t the case here today.

Mitchell’s is a favorite for lunch. Their fish & chips are fantastic, as is the Ocean Cobb salad. The atmosphere is relaxed and not too noisy. We decided to check it out for a week night dinner recently and had to be seated in the bar vs a 50 minute wait. It of course was much busier and noisier, but we enjoyed it just as much. Everything tastes fresh and delish. My husband had the Seafood Americana which he loved and I tried the Lobster & Shrimp Stuffed Cod. Amazing dish– I can’t resist seafood in a creamy preparation and this did not disappoint! Service is professional, fast and friendly. Lots of interesting menu choices (haven’t even got to the lobster) We’ll definitely be back for more!

We don’t get to go places like this often because it is a bit pricey, but it was worth it!
Hubby and I dined on New Year’s Eve and everything was amazing. I started with a delicious pineapple martini with a large chunk of pineapple soaking in it.
Next I enjoyed Oysters while the hubby ate the bread. They were fresh, large and tasty. Served with the usual sauce as well as an oil based sauce that was great.
I ordered the special trio of lobster tail, alaskan crab legs and king crab legs that came with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was mouth-​watering. I was so full, but I ate every bite because I couldn’t resist. Hubby got blackened Mahi-​Mahi, he is not one to go on about food, but said it was good.
We finished with a slice of Key Lime Pie that was as good as it was when we were in Key West.
If you are looking for a special meal, look no further.

Was invited to dinner her along with my wife by her manager. It was a very nice evening and we all enjoyed dinner. The service was over the top and the meal selection was great. The fish was seasoned well and cooked perfectly.

We had reservations at 7:15 pm on a Saturday. We were a party of 11. The restaurant was not crowded. It was 8:30 pm before we even received bread, and that was only after several of us asked multiple servers if we could get some. We had ordered drinks but then our waiter left. He rarely came to our table and everything we requested was either blown off or completed grudgingly. When our food did finally arrive, two hours after we were first seated, it was all hot, correct and tasty.
I often dine out either with my company or personally and have never had a horrible service experience such as this. What makes this worse is that it was my FIRST experience at your restaurant. I now am unsure if I would ever return based on the lack of attention. Also, when our frustration was told to other staffers, no one came to our table to apologize. Do you have management staff? No one asked about our food or offered a new waiter. I was exceptionally disappointed in this experience.

Great food, great service, amazing location, fantastic menu and reasonable prices. I loved the ambiance, this place is upscale and the food is prepared swell! Very delicious. The Friday night crowd was not a problem either. they take reservations. I encourage you to sit outside!.. the view is spectacular.

Went to Mitchell’s for an early lunch today and as always, it was amazing!
I got the Big Fish Sandwich, which came with a crispy golden slab of cod about the size of my face. Side of cole slaw and sea salt fries? Delicious!
My friend got the Cedar Plank Salmon which was served on a bed of grilled peppers and zucchini, finished with sun dried tomatoes. I didn’t try any as I was busy stuffing my face, but it smelled amazing. Beautiful presentation as well!
Great service, even though our server was only working her second shift ever. Cheerful and helpful staff all around. Manager brought out our food and made sure we had everything we needed even though they had almost a full dining room. Certainly exceeded expectations for a quick lunch!

Great for a special night out or a date.
This is a fish house so wouldn’t go if you don’t care for seafood.
Our fav is the seabass with the ginger soy and lobster rolls reminded us for our trips to Maine. and the sharkfin pie is amazing. so save room.
I didn’t care for their fried fish platter … the batter overwhelmed the meal … and the lobster bisque is hit or miss. sometimes tasted bitter.
