Still the only place around to do a proper breakfast taco/burrito. Coming from Texas, this area was such a disappointment, so I spent the time and money seeking out any restaurant claiming to serve a breakfast taco or burrito. So far Skips is the only place to come close to a taste of home, and while not perfect and somewhat pricey, I’m glad to have finally found what I needed.

Went through the drive through. Ordered the sandwich to be heated, it was cold, ordered mustard and mayo they said it would come on side but didn’t put any in the bag, they were out of plain bagels, the smoothie shouldn’t be considered a smoothie, it’s artificial flavor and ice, more like an icee. And it cost over $ 12

Asked for mayo on my wrap, I was told they’ll give me a packet of it to put on myself! How hard is it to swipe a condiment on bread? This is probably the only deli in the world that won’t make a sandwich to order. WTH?

Have been going here for over 4 years. Great bagels and food. Only complaint is 8 out of 10 visits they will get your order wrong. Always missing something out of my order. Great place just check your order !

I tried; I gave them multiple chances to make it right. I wish you could give a negative reviews. The sandwiches are good, however, don’t try to visit here for dinner. They should be clear and close at 3pm. Instead, they say they are open until 7:00. I have rushed to get there before 7:00 multiple times and found it locked up and closed at 6:45. If you are lucky enough to get there before 6:30(because they are obviously not open until 7) they are out of every kind of sandwich-bagel. There’s nothing I despise more than false hope, maybe lying, but they do both. They have lost my business forever.

Disgusting good! Horrible customer service! I ordered a sandwich a little while ago. It was MOLDY! I called in, spoke to a manager, who said I would have a credit. I went this morning, the General Manager was there. She said she heard nothing about it and won’t honor any credit. They are only good for a week. What??? The guy never said I had a week on the phone and what kind of manager says«Sorry, I won’t honor it». She had the power to make up for their subpar food and she wasn’t «giving any food away» I have never in my life been dismissed like she did. Seriously uninterested in my business or their food quality. NEVEREATHERE

A good place to get breakfast or lunch. Their bagels are all good. They make great omelets. They used to serve omelets through the drive thru but it was really slowing them down so they stopped. When they have them, their buckeyes are some of the best I have ever tasted(their desserts seem to rotate what they have). Their bagels will occasionally sell out so get there earlier for best picks.

Some places are awesome. Some places are great. Some places are A-OK. Skips Bagel & Deli falls strictly among the A-OKs. The bagels are very good(although not among the best I’ve ever had). They’re very flavorful, chewy but not dense. There aren’t a whole lot of specialty flavors in their spreads, but what is there is pretty good. So why I gave this place an A-OK despite very good bagels? A). This place serves more than just bagels and sandwiches. B). The clerk’s attitude could be better. Let me elaborate. On our visit, we ordered 6 bagels of mixed flavors. They were very good(as mentioned previously). But we also ordered an omelet. For some reason, it was cooked without any salt at all. The way it was cooked was alright, for sure. But without salt, there was hardly any flavor at all. As for the server, no smiles, no hello, just a straight-faced«what can I get you?» Sorry, but I used to be a store manager. And I know what a decent server should do. With all the bagels and delis out there, service can be a huge reason for customers to come back. But this place apparently wants to stand strictly on its products. The bagels may indeed attract some repeat customers, but any place that doesn’t try to make every customer a repeat customer, whether through product, service, or a combination of both, deserves strictly A-OK in my book.

Awful! That describes this restaurant. First I’ve dined in as well as driven through. Let’s start with inside. The bagel bins are located just around the corner from the restrooms. Customers(kids with colds & who knows what else) walk right by the bagels. Take a look at the area where they store the cream cheese and toppings — looks like a bomb went off. Dirty looking is understatement Kids working inside give you typical McDonald’s type service — barely acceptable with disinterested attitudes. Drive through gets worse. Unless you are a regular who has over time figured out the poorly written descriptions then good luck with what you get home with. This place stays in business because they are the only bagel option in the area. Manager has no interest in making things right — soup nazi attitude. Will not return.

So long, Skip’s. You used to be our go-to family breakfast place after Sunday morning church. Your above average food and lack of other breakfast options in the area always covered up for the below average(but friendly) service. Unfortunately the decline in food quality is the last straw for us. The cinnamon rolls that used to be the highlight of the meal for our kids are now some sort of unrecognizable cardboard flavored mass of dough with a cinnamon jelly inside that our kids will no longer touch. My omelet — which came with a different cheese than I ordered — was filled with raw mushrooms, onions and peppers that never touched a grill. If it was just one incident, I could understand, but I bet out of the 40 times or so we have been there in the past few years, we have had service issues or received the wrong order 75% of the time. Oh well… time to find another breakfast spot.
