Sick of high gas prices? Buy a bike and pedal instead! Trek Bicycle Store carries a number of different brands of bikes but focuses (obviously) on Treks. The store also features bikes by Gary Fisher, Lemond, Klein, and Project One.
We stopped in Trek the other day not to buy a bike but to buy accessories… we had decided to try an intense spinning class at the gym and the instructor had recommended beginners buy padded biking shorts or seat padding for added comfort.
The employee we talked to couldn’t have been more helpful and pulled out every product we might be interested in within minutes of hearing what we needed. The bike shorts we ended up purchasing were $ 45 each, not a steep price considering the pain they saved us from!
I glanced at the bikes while we were there and was astounded by the prices… these are bikes for serious cyclists with price tags starting at about $ 250 (very few and these are the absolute bottom of the line) to well over $ 4,000.
Trek also offers «fitting» services to make sure customers get the most out of their bikes.
