Wetherington Photography

We hired a photographer from Wetherington Photography to take an extended family portrait in October to commemorate my grandparent’s 50^th wedding anniversary.
Our photographer was great; he was full of personality and knew each of us (18) by name before the end of the hour-​long shoot. He set up a nice looking scene on the front lawn of my house and spent almost twenty minutes lining us up and «tweaking» our appearances (each woman’s necklace was situated perfectly on her neck and each fly-​away hair had been tamed) before he began to shoot pictures. Everything about the shoot seemed to guarantee fabulous looking pictures…
Unfortunately, when we went to pick up our pictures a few weeks later, the finished products were bland and awkward. The spacing between members of my family didn’t’t look appropriate and the angles the pictures were shot at were just not flattering. We ended up buying a few of the better-​looking shots but no one in my family purchased a picture larger than a 16×20 (we had hoped to purchase a very large portrait for my grandparents).
