Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had – an I even lived in China for awhile. I ordered general tso’s chicken. Upon taking a bite of the chicken, I thought they’d given me fish. Then, I realized the chicken probably had gone bad, so after 2 bites of it, I switched to the rice, they gave me yellow rice instead of steamed like I’d expected, full of MSG my body told me by the headache I got after eating. I couldn’t leave without hitting the restroom, my body wanted to reject that food faster than I could exit. I won’t return.

It’s average Chinese takeout and Miyo’s, Antai, etc all do it better. However, it’s near my house and for a quick pickup it is nice. The fried rice is horrible. It’s like that yellow rice you see at so many non-Asian owned takeout places, but it is owned by an Asian family! The egg rolls are overly greasy and taste more like they were frozen and taken out of a bag. I know it only takes a few hours to chop up the veggies and meat, roll the egg rolls, pre-fry, and toss in a cooler to be cooked fully later. The Singapore style noodles is one of the better dishes on the menu. It has a good amount of meat and veggies with just the right amount of spice. They do a very good job with sweet and sour foods, but the sauce is a bit runny. They don’t deep fry huge chunks. They keep it bit-size which I appreciate. Overall the food is average so if you’re looking for top notch go else where. Happy China is right up the way and they have better fried rice, egg rolls, and a buffet. I worked in an award-winning Chinese restaurant in the Columbia area for almost a decade and learned the in’s and out’s of making your own Chinese food. That means actually rolling egg rolls, folding won-tons, brewing hot tea, cooking up soup, etc. Sometimes I’d rather not take the time to make my own. Or maybe I just don’t feel like driving all the way to Lexington or a little farther to Happy China so I grab takeout here. It’s nothing to brag about. It’s your typical, mediocre Chinese takeout, but with horrible parking.

Best Chinese food in the Columbia area. We get takeout here quite often. Our favorites are the vegetable lo mein, egg rolls, shrimp fried rice and the sweet and sour chicken. The Pt is the size we get and we always have some leftover as they give you such generous portions. The food is always super fresh and cooked to perfection!
