Full disclosure, I was given a discount for writing a review. It was not required that the review had to be positive.
I had a brake caliper lock up on me and Scott’s is near my office. He was friendly and helpful when I called in to get a quote and they have really good reviews. They were fair, honest, and showed me what was going on with my vehicle. I opted not to get some work done and I never felt pressured at all to change my mind about it.
Having a good mechanic can save you a lot of money and stress and I’ll be going back to Scott’s.

These guys rock! I used to come to this location when it was a repair shop called Porter’s, then started going elsewhere when Porter’s closed. I came back recently when my clutch gave out but my regular mechanic could not fit me in. Scott’s took me right away, gave me a solid estimate, and had the car ready next day. A week later I had a Check Engine light; they diagnosed and fixed the problem on the same day – and fixed a rattle that had been annoying me forever, into the bargain. They are fast, honest, their charges are really reasonable, and they are friendly. They take the time to explain exactly what is going on – they don’t treat you like an idiot. I will be using them in the future any time my car needs a repair – or even just an oil change.

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation due to a Groupon. However, I will definitely be returning here. Having been screwed over before I am always wary of car mechanics trying to sell you on services you don’t need. This is the first time I think I’ve ever been told the honest truth about my car from an auto mechanic. They were quick, too. Best repair shop I’ve been in to Columbia.

Excellent service, honest people, and great prices. Scott and the guys are honest about your car… they care about you and your car. Went for an oil change, in and out very quickly. Price was far. Will be back for sure. Go see Scott and the guys, you won’t be disappointed.
