Steve’s Deli

This locally owned and operated deli is always clean and operates like a well oiled machine. The staff is friendly, welcoming and always aims to please. From deli sandwiches to hamburgers and hot dogs, from salads to chicken fingers, their menu has it all. I have been a customer here for a number of years and I have tried almost everything on their menu. I must say I have never had a bad meal here. They have a good lunch crowd and a hearty take out business. I would recommend.

Tried Steve’s solely on the Unilocal!5-​star recommendation. If you want an excellent, fresh sub sandwich at a reasonable price, Steve’s is the place. Décor is very basic and you would most likely drive right by this place but don’t let that fool you. The 12″ was huge and really good. Staff behind the counter was friendly and prepared our order perfectly. Definitely recommended.

Steve’s was the first sub I ever ate. There use to be a location by the Food Lion around the corner from my house as a kid. My Old Man, would take my sister and I there for lunch days mom had to work and he was watching us. We’d split the Heaven 17 (Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef, Bologna, Pepperoni, Salami, Cheese) or a Roast Beef and Cheese. The people are always nice and the subs are always good. Not as many toppings as many of the chains offer, but nostalgia makes it the best for me. My friends swear by their hot dogs, but I go for one reason and one reason only (a good sub)… The Heaven 17 is a treat, but I generally get a turkey, or turkey and ham. They have hot subs and fries as well if you have a commie friend/​family member that doesn’t like a sub sandwich.

Great lunch spot. Prob eat here once a week or twice if I forget my lunch. Staff is great and chatty if it’s not super busy. The tea and onion rings are where it’s at.

Low-​key sandwich shop. Fresh ingredients and speedy service. The owner is fantastic. The workers are engaged, interactive, and accurate. The food is tremendous. Best sandwich joint in town. Eat here.
