What a delightful little spot. Ice cream is solid. The crepes and the grilled cheese are incredibly good. Definitely a great little spot for lunch.

I give RTBC the edge over Bedford Farms; the ice cream has a beautiful flavor and mouth feel, and always seems fresh. Good hot fudge, too. My kids recommend Coffee Hydrox, Raspberry Chip, and Sea Salt Caramel with Pretzels. They are not wrong.

Solid homemade ice cream with a wide range of selection. Ask to sample many of their unique, but trendy flavors like salted caramel, peppermint candy, etc. We ordered 2 kiddie sized cones and received a solid 2 scoops of ice cream. It was plenty of ice cream to cap off dinner. There is plenty of seating as well. We asked about the name and apparently it comes from a 1979 song and single by Ian Dury and the Blockheads called«Reasons to be Cheerful, Part 3».

Really cute place but customer service was very forgetful and slow. I paid with a $ 20 and never got my change back. I was in a rush at the time, so I didn’t realize until I had left. Apple cinnamon crepes weren’t amazing either. Took a long time to prepare and there was too much butter and very few slices of apple in the crêpe.

Lovely and friendly staff. Lots of ice cream flavors. Now to the details. Ordered a small hot fudge sundae with coffee ice cream. You get 2 substantial scoops for $ 5.63. Ice cream is OK, nothing extraordinary, but hot fudge is not. Its more like a thin warmed up chocolate sauce which was disappointing. Also had a sampling of the salted caramel flavor which was sickly sweet and not very good. I’ve had better ice cream experiences elsewhere but if youre in the area it will do.

I absolutely adore this place! The best ice cream around and their homemade hot fudge is to die for! They have an ever changing rotation of flavors, so you’ll never get bored with the same old thing. Plus they also have delicious coffee, tea, hot cocoa, Italian soda, and crepes!

Enjoyed the ice cream! Staff polite and friendly, but couldn’t answer questions about flavors.

We stopped in for a treat after an afternoon at Walden pond. The shop is cute and colorful. The girls behind the counter were polite and helpful. They gave us samples of some of the different ice creams we wanted to try before ordering, and were patient with all of us as we took a while trying to decide what to order. We each got a kidde size ice cream and each of us loved what we got. I had the Aztec hot chocolate which was delicious, creamy, & sweet with a kick. They have lots of interesting flavors and the quality of their ice cream is fantastic! What was really nice was that they will give you two different flavors with the kidde cone which most places won’t do. I can’t wait to go back and try their affagato and crepes.

The staff is nice and the ice cream is delicious. You get a lot of ice cream for the price you pay even though it’s a tid bit pricey. The flavors change regularly which is also nice.

I ordered 2 ice-creams and 3 crepes. The girl behind the counter is clearly is doing the summer job for her resume and she is too privileged to care about costumer service– she was quite unhappy taking orders and she didn’t care. They were using only one pan to make pancake during busy weekend– poor organizational skills here. Good ice-cream, very poor costumer service. They need to hire people who want the job.

We always come here with lots of students after a community service trip to Concord. Instead of being annoyed with us, the owner and workers are always happy, courteous and quick! Their ice cream is great, and last time I had a Nutella crêpe, which was sweet and filling.

I nanny in the area and I love taking the kids here. The ice cream is made with real stuff and they have super yummy flavors. ‘Sample them all’ the gentleman behind the counter told me my first time in. I 100% recommend both the flavors I ended up selecting Coconut and Salted Caramel with chocolate coved pretzels. I will return just for the Coconut flavor, bravo!

The name alone deserves 5 stars but what seals the deal are the tasty offerings inside this charming new England store. The crepes are really tasty, filled with smoked salmon, or the cheddar and avocado crêpe with or without bacon I can recommend. They also have a huge selection of ice creams which no one is interested in at this time of year but in the summer has people lining up on the weekends. They must have about 30 flavors and my favorite was the mocha. Parking is metered street parking, usually available. Pretty good coffee too!

Pretty cool little place. Clean and welcoming. The reason its not 5⁄5 is because there was no iced coffee ready and I was one of the only ones there.

I live in West Concord and drive by this place at least 10 times a week. I was finally tempted to walk in there about a year ago and after 10 minutes of watching the staff with the deer in the headlights look, I walked out. About 6 months ago, I tried it again. I walked out again. Stupid me, I was craving ice cream today and stopped there again … I wish I walked out. The place can’t decide if they’re a bakery, a lunch counter, a candy store or an ice cream parlor. It was the middle of the afternoon and there were at least 6 people behind the counter and zero customers. All I wanted was an ice cream cone, that should be easy, shouldn’t it? Of course, the girl behind the counter couldn’t describe what was in the various flavors they offered, so rather than listen to her ask someone else to describe everything I asked about, I just figured«Death by Chocolate» would be fine. She scoops the out ice cream and then spends about 2 minutes trying to put«sprinkles» on it. As she’s handing it to me, tells me it’s a «little soft» … as the scoops start to slide off the top of the cone. I should have left at that point. But nooooo … I decided to try again and figured a simple chocolate ice cream cone wouldn’t be too complicated and she claimed the chocolate was«hard». I stood there with the cone in my hand for 3 more minutes, while they figured out what they had done with my $ 10. I finally got change(small cone was $ 5.50). The ice cream was disgusting. It tasted only slightly worse than the plastic tasting cones you can get at Wendy’s hamburgers. If you’re going to charge over $ 5 for an ice cream cone, at least use some decent ice cream! I’m the first person to put an effort into supporting local business, but I don’t have a clue who owns this place, I doubt they’re local … and nothing about the place is appealing in any way.

Conveniently located in downtown West Concord*, Reasons To Be Cheerful is a great way to support local. Along with their delicious ice cream fare, Reasons also serves Crepes(Sweet and Savory) daily until 3pm — the Crepes are made fresh and well worth the wait. Try the Brie & Apples or Pears & Arugula Savory Crêpe for a real treat — yumm. Yes I’m a fan! *a few blocks from Deborah’s Natural Gourmet

Still 5 stars of fabulousness. Flavors are amazing and I love that there is an amazing selection of die hard favorites along with some new things each geared towards the season. Chocolate Guiness ice cream? YESPLEASE. And the service is amazing, these are the nicest bunch of people. I’m really impressed that they all know the flavors are heavy on the scoopage. Always a pleasure. I’ve been countless times, 25+ ??? And the owner is a great guy to.

Found this gem yesterday — what lovely staff and fun and funky décor and the crepes were bigger than my head. I only had a drink, but watched other(grown manly men) devour the giant head sized lunch crêpe. Please please please bring your authentic uniqueness to Natick center. We could use some fun places.

Great community and family stop off in West Concord. The owner is quite kind and that trickles down to his staff to create a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. The ice cream is yummy and IMO better quality than other ice cream places around. In a conversation with the owner it seemed he wanted to do an all natural ice cream store, but unfortunately demand led him to use artificial ingredients such as the M&M ice cream.(I believe they use Garelick farms milk(from Bliss Dairy) which is a step above conventional milk since they do not use recumbent bovine somatrophin hormone(banned in the EU, Canada and Australia) which can increase Insulin growth factor hormone.) Certainly I’d prefer grass fed milk rather than corn/grain fed, but the demand probably isn’t there yet for that kind of quality. Overall a big thumbs up as a great stop to make if you are in W Concord w/family or friends or need ice cream for home and want to support the local economy.
