First and last time I come here! Worst service ever! Took my order until they felt like it. Our server was extremely rude! This was my first time here, I mentioned that to her and when I asked her if she could explain the menu to me she simply said«everything is explained on the menu» rude rude rude!

We went to this place about two years ago and continued we have watch this place slowly decline. We finally decided not going back. It is dirty, menus are sticky dirty, Windows & tables at bar are dirty. Waiters are careless on their phones not looking out for their customers the sushi was loose and not good as before. It’s obvious the owner has lost touch of the quality of his restaurant. Hiring young people with customer and people skills saves him money but will loose business type people who tip well. Sorry but this place is really gone downward crazy

HOWTHEMIGHTYHAVEFALLEN! I remember Mike’s being my number one sushi spot! I would compare any sushi restaurant to Mikes because of its overall excellence. I recently went back a couple days ago, for nostalgic purposes, and boy, was I disappointed! Service was reasonable, our waitress was a little awkward, but friendly and timely. Food quality has gone down the drain. Tremendously disappointing. I cant find myself justifying paying $ 26+ for this place anymore. I suppose many people feel the same way, considering I went on a Saturday evening and we were seated immediately. Had this been a year or 2 years prior, it would’ve been like a 30min– an hour wait.

Man what can I say we decided to try this place … What a mistake. Really bad service the food was just ok and well at least the water had ice. There were so many servers and yet the place was dirty, and all the servers were un attentive. I will never go back and regret eating there. Work on food presentation and quality train your servers and turn the music down.

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night and as I walk in there’s no sense of welcoming from the two waiters by the front door. Rather than having them grab a menu and show me to the table they just look at me. I have to ask if they’re going to seat me or if I just pick a seating and they go with the latter. I sit at the table and I’ve been there a good 15 minutes before my dad decides to flag down the bus boy for service since the waiters aren’t giving anyone any mind, continuing the conversation they’ve had since I’ve walked in over by the doorway. The selection of sushi was poor, many of the options contain crab meat, giving no variety of an actual sushi lovers palette, catering towards the cheap«California Roll» enthusiast. I asked for the Sweet Angeles Roll with a substitution for spicy crab meat with ANYTHING else and was met with opposition from both the sushi chefs and the waiter who helped me who said I was giving him a «hard time» for asking for what options I have for substitutions. Finally we met to an agreement and I got extra spicy tuna in the roll. It was awful. Bottom line, service was awful and worst of all food was awful. Not just my lack luster roll that I ordered but the bowl the waiter mistook my dads bento order for. It tasted like microwaved Yoshinoya. Not planning on coming back ever.

First time here and I got to admit super bomb! Had the tiger roll. Bryan and Vanessa took great care of me. Was greeted and was introduced to the lunch hour special here. I didn’t have much of an appetite, but man did I enjoy this experience. The sushi chef also gave me a off the menu plate which was salmon stuffed with spicy tuna. Washed it all down with ice cold Sapporo. Great job guys. You’d be crazy not to try crazy mikes

3 rounds of AYCE, LET’S GO. No doubt you’ll have feelings of regret after the meal and will take a vow to never have AYCE sushi again but don’t kid yourself. it will definitely happen again. I think the best game plan is to limit the number of specialty rolls that you get. Go for the a la carte instead. I’m usually a sucker for specialty rolls like spider rolls and anything with eel. The 3 speciality rolls that we order were doused in their sauce(it was probably teriyaki). That sauce was so concentrated that it actually tasted a little bitter. I recommend not over indulging in this if you want to get your money’s worth. Their a la carte sushi was pretty fresh. My favorite was the squid, fresh water eel, and salmon which was pretty buttery! I also liked the tamago(judge me, I dare you). Vanilla or green tea ice cream on the house.

Have been here twice before. The sushi is average, nothing very spectacular… The I know it’s an all you can eat sushi place… But the service here isn’t so hot. The servers are not really good with refills. And took forever to come check in on us. Unfortunately the service on multiple occasions has be subpar.

I am in love with this place!!! The sushi here is amazing and sooo many choices! I always get the all you can eat and the rice and fish ratio is always on point. Only think i must say i dislike is having the tables soooo close to each other. I hate hearing other peoples conversations and I don’t like people being able to hear mine. & maybe they can get bigger tables for 2 people party bc we usually get all you can eat and our order never fits fully.

23 mins left. Horrible service tonight. And we had to ask and remind them for everything. Took 25 mins for someone to even acknowledge us for drinks. Food was good but service makes me not want to come back.

What the hell. I used to come here all the time with my friends since we always appreciated the quality of the food and service. Today, we had to constantly flag someone down to take our order and the food took forever to come out! In addition to the horrible service and slow turnover, our sushi orders came out warm. No one enjoys warm raw fish. No one. By the end of our meal, we had zero intention of leaving a tip. They had the audacity to charge my party of FIVE people a 18% automatic gratuity. Overall, horrible service, nasty food, and unacceptable gratuity charge. Congratulations, you have lost a long time customer.

Confusing and mediocre. So there is an AYCE option at about $ 26.99/person on a week night but you only have an hour limit. Otherwise, you can order rolls individually. It was confusing because with the AYCE, they provide you with a paper to mark off the items you want and the menu looked pretty extensive on there. However, without the AYCE you get a picture menu that are mostly rolls and appetizers. I asked about sashimi and was told the price depends on the fish, which doesn’t tell me much about what I should expect to pay. So we ordered 3 rolls: yellowtail roll(tasteless yellowtail w/some cucumber), some crazy night roll(tempura shrimp in soy paper), and the honeymoon roll(shrimp rolled in crabmeat topped w/salmon — no rice). Aside from the disappointing yellowtail roll, the other two were quite tastey but they did come with a lot of sauce. Yellowtail was about $ 6 and the other two I’d say were in the $ 12 – 15 range. Then I made a mistake by ordering the oyster appetizer. It came out looking quite enticing and I had taken a picture but then after trying it, I decided I did not want to share it. It took a good 10 minutes to shuck and plate, and then there was a strong raw aroma but for some reason I couldn’t connect the dots that it was coming from my plate. It looked so good, though! After the first piece, my date and I had weird faces but didn’t really share our opinion. I figured I had gotten an odd one and he probably thought the same to himself. We went for the second and then when he expressed that he couldn’t take it anymore, I realized we got a bad bad bad batch of oysters. $ 9.95 for 5 pieces. The staff is very young and while it’s kind of casual, I also felt like I was in some type of fast food joint. There wasn’t much professionalism or welcoming vibe. They’ll seat you, take your order, and bring you the food. The water tasted licking a pipe even with lemon. I wouldn’t come back here.

Hm, I am not a big fan of sushi but I really enjoyed the recent visit here! PARKING Parking lot available — plenty of spots available if you don’t mind walking a little further. Located in the same plaza as Yogurtland and Panera Bread. INTERIOR/EXTERIOR Doesn’t look like a big place from the outside, but inside is pretty big! There are many tables available — regular and booths as well as bar counters. Big plus that restrooms are clean. MENU First, I’d like to mention that I am not a big fan of seafood. With that said, we came here for lunch and took advantage of the all you can eat sushi menu. Lunch is about $ 21 per person and you could order whatever you like from the menu — including the specialty rolls in the back. I think my favorite was the Spider Roll or the Tempera California Roll. Come hungry! I have a small appetite which meant that I probably didn’t get my money’s worth. I was pretty stuffed after the first round! Their sushi isn’t bland and their sides and small appetizers were pretty good. SERVICE It was a really slow afternoon. There were about three other tables aside from us. The friend that brought us here was also surprised! We were seated quickly, given there was no wait and we placed the order for our first round pretty quick. The food came out in good time and the servers were very nice! According to the paper, our server was Danny and he dropped by several times to check on us. Anyways, I would have rated this place four stars otherwise, but the menu had a lot of alternatives, service was good, and the friend claims that this is one of his favorite sushi spot.

I wouldn’t recommend coming here for AYCE. HORRIBLE service and the quality of the fish was moderate. Reviewers had said this place was good, so my friends and I thought we would give this place a shot. We arrived on a Sunday night around 7:30PM with 3 people; no wait. Got seated and we were ready to place our first round. We were really disappointed when the sushi came out. There was a lot of rice on our specialty rolls and barely any fish. The size of the fish was smaller than my pinky nail… and with our sashimi, not as fresh as everyone says in their review. I’ve had better quality for the the same dinner price. Don’t get me started with the service… Our waitress DIDNOTONCECOME to our table for refills or to check up on us. The only time she came was when we flagged her down. We tried asking other servers to help us, but they said they’re only in charged of their own tables. It’s funny because the server that told us this, ended up helping us more than our waitress. Apparently she became the cashier for the night and didn’t bother servicing us. The place wasn’t busy at all(only 5 tables), so there SHOULDN’T be any excuses. There were several items on our list that never made it to our table. I’m sure someone forgot about it because when we reminded them of the items, it came right away. We asked for the check and it took more than 20 minutes to come; we flagged them down TWICE. I’m never coming back.

Crazy Mike’s is not too cray cray on their lunch hours. We parked, we walked in, and were seated immediately. The wait staff is friendly and informative. Round 1: we ordered our sushi; the salmon, fresh water eel, salmon eggs, albacore, and salmon collar were all good. The uni is one order per customer but one extra order was given to us. We are very thankful and grateful for that. We also had the naked roll(no rice)…cucumber on the outside and crab and tuna inside. Round 2: we ordered another batch of sushi and I told my wife to try the soft shelled crab. Delicious and we were getting full at this moment. I ordered more salmon eggs and fresh water eel. Round 3: green tea ice cream. We liked it a lot! I highly recommend lunch time AYCE here. We tried dinner time but we do not have the patience to wait for more than 15 minutes. It gets packed and people in line get obnoxious. Lunch is $ 20 and reasonably priced. We will be back and thank you Crazy Mike’s staff! You guys rock!

Man. so many rules to follow here … * No leftover or you’ll be charged on regular a la carte price accordingly. * No sharing if you are going to order a la carte and skip AYCE(All-You-Can-Eat) option. * You can’t request for no rice option for your sushi(basically no sashimi, but they do offer mixed sashimi salad on the ordering menu) * Automatic 18% gratuity for a group of 5 or more. * Limitation(one order per person): Oyster, halibut(2 pieces), uni(2 pieces), soft shell crab. * $ 26.95 for AYCE dinner. Student discount is available with a student ID. Half price for children under 9 years old. * I saw«one hour limit» for the AYCE option, but our group actually ate here for about 2 hours because someone got too greedy here and we were trying to make sure there were no leftovers. *** Rabbit Eyes Roll(spicy crabmeat, salmon, no rice): Probably the best sushi of the day. A pretty satisfying dish.(4⁄5) Honeymoon roll(shrimp, avocado, crabmeat, salmon, no rice): Not too bad — I am a big fan of avocado + shrimp + crabmeat.(3.5÷5) Salmon: Tasted fresh and tender enough for a passable experience.(3⁄5) Halibut: Not too bad, pretty chewy and fresh.(3.5÷5) Tuna: Unacceptable — such a rough texture.(1⁄5) Eel: What’s this? Did someone overcook the eel(see picture below)? It was so burnt that I could not even eat this thing.(1⁄5) Uni(one order per person): Wow … this gotta be the smallest uni I’ve seen! Either California is really running out of uni or this place is just being cheap.(1⁄5) Green tea ice cream: Probably one of the better order of the night. Chocolate syrup wasn’t too bad at all.(4⁄5) .*** This is probably one of the worst AYCE sushi options in the 626(San Gabriel Valley) area. Both Sushi Show and AYCE Sushi are much better AYCE sushi options than Crazy Mike’s Sushi. Sorry Mike, but I am not crazy about your sushi(and that super tiny portion of uni –_-).

Actually had a few good runs with crazy mike’s. But my most recent visit was somewhat of a let down. Although everything was pretty much great, the service was a little bit slow and the quality of the seafood is also dropped a tad. Another still a great place for AYCE sushi, Mike has got his hands full with all the competitors coming into the 626 East. Doing pretty much the same thing.
