I had a terrible experience with Amin «Sean» Mortazi. He took a deposit of $ 1800 from me for cabinetry work and NEVER did the job. I am taking him to small claims court to collect.
TERRIBLE. DO NOT HIRE.

While having many problems with contractors in the past, Mortazi renovations came as a welcome change. I needed some doors and crown molding installed, as well as a kitchen makeover. Amin walked me through the whole process. He came up with many useful suggestions as well as ways I could save cost while not losing out on quality. The work was carried out expeditiously and without a hitch. My kitchen and home now looks great. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend this business.

I was. Wry impressed with the professionalism and quality of work that was provided on my new home. I highly recommend this company I have not one complain and would not ask anyone new to do any further renovations to my beautiful home.
We wanted our condo painted and some plaster repair done prior to moving in and are so grateful we found Amin on Craigslist. Amin and his team transformed our home into something that exceeded our expectations. They worked through high temperatures and still gave us daily updates AND completed the job on time, including immaculate clean up.
Amin has an artist’s eye for detail and perfection. He’s also incredibly patient as we went through several color changes, one of them at literally the last minute-​and it didn’t seem to phase him. He was completely professional throughout, and keeps a sense of humor and calmness which really helps when you’re moving. We really appreciate Amin’s honesty. We wanted something «different» in the bathroom and had purchased wallpaper. Amin explained the reasons he thought the paper was a bad idea, but wasn’t critical. After researching the matter we discovered Amin was totally right on. The paper would have been problematic down the line. Best of all, he came up with the perfect solution — a beautiful glaze! It covers the entire room including the ceiling and looks like designer wallpaper. The details are amazing!
Needless to say, we can’t wait to bring him back for our next project. Did I mention it was a great experience!

Doing any kind of construction in your house could be someone’s worst nightmare. I’ve had a couple of construction jobs done at my house and each time there’s always a problem with the contractor. Whether it’s been coming late, not picking up your phone or delaying the job bye weeks/​months!
I found this company, and Amin, to be probably the most reliable contractor that I ever found and worked with. He has a good personality, is very knowledgeable on what are the best materials to use, he has a very good ability for getting things done quickly. And most importantly he was fairly priced compared to everyone else. So if I had to do another construction job in my house which I know I probably will at some point, I’m definitely going to use this company because of how reliable they were.

My wife and I had just bought a house and needed to hire a contractor to make a few changes. We hired this contractor to fix & paint existing fences, and build a closet including paint & patch. Not only is this the most unprofessional company I have EVER worked with, they did a HORRIBLE job! He would skip days and not show up without any prior notice, then he went way beyond the budget and expenses for material that were discussed prior to hiring. In the middle of the job he packed his things without any notice and sent a TEXT message stating there is not enough money in this job for him, basically saying this is too small of a job for him. Even after offering him more money to come back and complete the job he left unfinished, he sent another TEXT message informing me he had another job. With that being said, he didn’t finish repairing or painting the fences, and the closet has not been painted and no patch work has been performed. Since the scope of work originally agreed on was not completed, we had come to the agreement to return the remaining balance of money (which was paid upfront) for the work not completed. He also walked away with a set of keys to my home, and when calling him regarding these two matters he refuses to call me back, but instead send me another TEXT message saying «I’ll bring them back tomorrow.» It’s been over a week now and still have not seen the money, and it worries me that a complete stranger has a set of keys to my home where I plan on moving my family into. The way he goes about business is unethical and unprofessional. I write this review in hopes that this does not happen to anyone else. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, HE WILL RIP YOU OFF. Very unprofessional!!!

We are very pleased with the work Sean did in our home. I was very concerned with having holes cut into our walls to hide the wiring from our television to the operating devices we have, but I must say it turned out to be a beautiful end result. We are more than happy with how that small improvement made a huge difference in the look and feel of our living room.
Sean was very professional, on time for our scheduled appointment, and neat with his work. His prices are more than reasonable and seems very trustworthy and down to earth. We really like his fresh and neat ideas he has given us on big and small modifications we can do to make our home look better. He takes pride in his work as if he were working on his own home. We’re looking forward to the upcoming projects. Thanks Sean!
