Forever 21

im a big fan of forever 21. i go in fully knowing i am not buying quality products, but things i can wear for the season and will probably fray/​shrink/​fade within the first few wears.
i bought a dress about 2 weeks back at the arcadia location. i had bought almost the exact same dress last year, but sadly it shrunk after the first wash and was given to my cousin. when i spotted this dress, i excitedly ran towards it and bought a medium — preparing myself for the shrink. i got home, took the clothes out of the bag and threw away the receipt, knowing i had found a winner.
disappointingly, the dress was obviously too big AND i would still have to wear leggings with it. i called the west covina location before i went, knowing how strict their return policy is. i told the lady on the phone i had a dress, but i threw away the receipt, could i still get an exchange? she said as long as i still had the tag in tact, they could exchange it. fan-​tastic! i drove over during my lunch break and told the cashier, i want to make an exchange but i don’t have the receipt. she said, «you need the receipt». i said, but i called earlier and they said it was okay. she replied, «you need the receipt, its store policy».
dejected & disappointed, i walked away… fan-​tastic… wondering why the forever 21 world is so cruel. why would they tell me one thing and then another? also, i paid with card, couldn’t they have just looked it up in the computer?
moral of the story — try your clothes on before you purchase, and save that receipt!!!

Forever 21 is cheap but I do like some of their stuff. The clothes and accessories are good for only a couple of wears and that’s it!
So with that said, I do not come here for the quality because we all know that some of that shit is cheap as hell.
I do expect to come to a large chain store like this and have somewhat good service. Notice I didn’t say excellent service because you and I both know that they hire dumb as shit people to work here and they don’t understand what excellent service even means.
Word of advice from a customer:
If you have 10+ registers, why only have ONE person working the front counter with a line of 15+ people backed up and about 10 employees walking the floor not doing shit but pretending to work and kill time asking me if I am finding everything ok?
At least open a second register or something.

i was pass this Forever 21 i want to go there buy many stuff many cloths it looks really good and some old school style guys can go there !!

this one looks better than the montebello (converted from a mervyn’s). They took time to lay out nicer floors, lightting… heck, it’s a brand new building practically built right next to best buy. So convenient for a guy and girl… drop her off here and he can have his 2 hour fun in best buy.
This f21 has guy dept too upstairs. Dressing rooms are clean and so far i have no bad experience with sales people yet. One bad thing. they do offer you to buy some «green» earth friendly items at check out and when you refuse, some will be ok with it and some will say something smug like, «don’t u like the earth?» Etc. Ok, whatever, no is a no. Give me my receipt.

I’ve never had a problem with this store until earlier tonight.
They don’t always carry the hippest «couture» clothing stolen-​from-​high-​fashion-​designers at this location, like Pasadena does (each store has a certain type of clothing shipped to them based on majority race population and demographics). That says something right off the bat. Never the less, there are sometimes cute stuff here. Sales associate are usually friendly, indifferent, and/​or helpful. I don’t really think the girls here can qualify as stylists, but whatever.
I had received a free bottle of nail polish at the Pasadena one (promotional offer: if you spend over $ 50, you receive a bottle of nail polish, color of your choice while supplies last). I had gotten purple ’cause they ran out of the light pink one I wanted. So I decided to come here to exchange the purple one, in hopes they carried the light pink one.
I went in and told the available cashier my situation. The tall, short, spiked hair (boy cut), around late 20’s to early 30’s employee stared rudely at me and handed the first nail polish she saw, sitting by itself on the cash register. I took it and it was super warm from the heat of the register (every girl knows nail polish is not suppose to get warm), opened it as I was walking away and saw that the outer top was covered with dry polish. Now, I’m a girl who’s had several bottles of nail polish, so I know when a bottle has been used.
I went back to the counter and told the same employee that this bottle was used. She looked at me and rudely said, «No it hasn’t.» I opened the bottle and said, «It wouldn’t look like this if it hadn’t been used.» She said, «It might have spilled.» Okay, seriously what the fuck? At this point, I’m just calling this girl a stupid puta in my head. She gave me a new one and said, «They’ve never been used. That one just spilled.» UM, OKAY?
First thing, whatever happened to customers always being right (even when they’re wrong)? She could’ve just easily said, «Oh I’m sorry» and given me another bottle — and it would’ve just been that. Instead she wanted to go against protocol customer service and be rude. Second, bitch please, I know a used bottle when I see it and that bottle was clearly used. Even if it DID spill, the polish wouldn’t have touched the outer part of the top like that — UNLESS the top was off. Now why would the top be off of it, if no one was using it?
Gawd, this bitch was stupid.
