i was craving an apple fritter and Unilocaled a donut place while driving through La Puente and it led me here. This place did not disappoint. Yep, tasty yummy, even if I was not craving one, I may stop by and grab one just because I can.

No Matter what donut place I go to, I always buy a ham and cheese croissant and my iced coffee. So Ive boughten from here twice and I can honestly say its not very good unfortunately. The inside of the croissant was so sticky for some reason, kept sticking to my teeth and also tasted very sweet for some reason. It grossed me out while eating it. And my iced coffee tasted like one of those monster coffee energy drinks, not to mention I got a cup FULL of ice and not even filled up to the top. I haven’t tried anything else from here but with these experiences I don’t think I will.

i’m not a huge donut fan, but this place has me craving donuts on a regular basis. their glazed donuts are light and fluffy, and the glaze is delicate and not overly sweet. the apple fritters are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and buttery all over. somehow half of it always disappears before i even make it home! it is a tiny hole in the wall, and if you drive by too quickly, you’ll miss the entrance to the strange little parking lot, where you have to drive in all the way and make a u-turn to be able to park. we’ve ordered several dozens at a time for events or to send as gifts and they’re always accommodating.

Their donuts are moist(I know, I hate that word too), flavorful, large and affordable. Service is fast and friendly. I wouldn’t drive across the County to come here, but if you’re in the area and want donuts, this is a solid choice.

I’m within walking distance of this place so that may have had some influence as to why I’ve been coming to this place for years. Then again, the donuts here are pretty good, well priced and there’s a decent selection of donuts. Not to mention that the owner(s) are pretty nice, polite, and helpful. So laziness isn’t the only thing driving me to this place. :) Anyway, I would try to pay cash here if possible since it helps them out a little more. All in all, I’m definitely going to continue coming here for however long I live in this city.

I haven’t been here for several years. Happened to be in West Covina and drove by Henry’s, and remembered all of their fresh sweet fried dough. Yes, had to pull over and drop in to get my usual, glazed old fashioned, and also tried their rasberry filled. Both were really good. Their selections are not too impressive as they offer the usual types you can find in any one of the thousand donut shops in LA, but what they serve are all fresh from my experience. They also dropped in a few donut holes in the bag. Nice touch! If I’m ever in West Covina & have a craving, Henry’s is it.

Delicious and fresh donuts! They are just down the street from us. So convenient, yet so unfortunate.(for me, need to eat healthier, need to lose weight) It’s a nice size shop, family owned, they have a sitting area with TV. Multiple variety drinks and coffee, every don’t you can think of, and giant size croissants with various flavors. the only unfortunate thing is, CASHONLY! :-/

Nice little mom and pop doughnut shop. Stuff you’ll find at major chains like Yum Yum’s, you’ll find here as well. The difference? Lower prices and better taste. Great doughnuts at fair prices. Whenever I find myself around the area, I stop by and grab a maple bar and a buttermilk bar. They always throw in 2 or 3 doughnut holes for free with my order to boot. Hooray for Henry’s for always being there to satiate the occasional yearning for sugary and delicious treats!

Used to walk here as a kid and grab some donuts and an ice cold Snapple! Their donut holes are the business. So are their maple bars. Actually, everything tastes good here.

The other day my friend brought a white paper bag of donuts to our house and gave us a raspberry filled glazed donut. I was not in the mood for donuts and had no appetite but i tasted it I thought it was Krispy Kreme, but it was better. She told us they’re from Henry’s Donuts down my street. The next day my husband and I bought a dozen and each one was so delicious and fluffy and soft. This is one of those places where I wish the place will never get a new owner or change in any way.

Whenever I have to bring my niece to school, I always, always make a point to stop at Henry’s Donuts to bring a box to work. In the morning, I tend to be more of a savory person, but when it comes to these delicious balls of dough, I’m willing to indulge my sweet tooth in the AM. So far I’ve tried quite a different ones over the past few months, but no matter which one I bite into, they have two things in common. One is that all them have a lighter bread consistency. None of the donuts are heavy or too dense. Don’t you hate that feeling of sometimes eating a donut and than having this heavy feeling afterwards? Like you swallowed a rock or something. Henry’s Donuts are just a little more airy. What I also like is that none of the donuts are overly sweet. The amount of frosting is just right and I’ve even noticed that the custard and jams they use for their filled donuts also not as sugary as other similar donuts I’ve had in the past. You really can make your sweet tooth happy, but not worry that one bite is going to cause a rush of cavities to form at that moment. In the morning, it can get quite busy, so I think that there are a lot of people in the area who know a good thing when they bite into it. So if you’re Eastside and looking for a donut fix, definitely check out Henry’s Donuts.
