Indestructible Beautee

First off this is a review on my personal experience… I saw Geselles Keratin treatment offer on Fb groups for $ 50 a $ 150 value. like the Spanish saying goes «lo barato sale caro» I booked my appointment and I was excited to see results since I been wanting to try it and the offer was tempting. She has a nice personally but the review is not on her is on my treatment experience. She started by washing my hair and proceeded to applying the treatment once into it she started mentioning this was a light treatment only reduced about 65% frizz and that I had to use professional shampoo and conditioner to extend results. Once she said that the full treatment started at about $ 200 because the other product was a better quality and more expensive that when I started worrying about this $ 50 treatment but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. Ok. So. She finished the treatment and she did say I needed a hair cut but I didn’t want it just yet. i will post pictures. she put a hair mask on my hair suggested I washed it the next morning for better results and not to put any bands or clips on my hair… my hair smell was strong when I left but not discusting… yet. the next morning exited I washed my hair with no shampoo or conditioner like she suggested and let it air dry. When my hair dryed it was horrible. dry. nappy and frizz to the max more than ever in my life. I texted her she did suggest I go back so she could see it she texted that It shouldn’t be dry but no opinion in the frizz. I couldnt make it at 6:30 pm since I was in the process of moving. Anyway I asked if i could put it up since it was horribly frizzy she said yes. The next day still no washed yet. I straighten my hair since she did suggest that if I wanted to style my hair to only flat iron it which I did but by now my hair smelled disgusting like the thrift store or moth balls how some people call it. I thought maybe with the straight in it will go away and help the process. no it made it worst. but I was going to be outdoors so I thought the air dry would help. tge smell just kept getting worst and when I would straighten my hair it looked healthy and full of life volume. after the treatment my straighten looks dull, flat, dead, my hairl just looks dead… its ugly. Its more frizzy. nd my natural curls disapear. I contact her about the smell because day 4 still stinks its embarrassing and I have to be around people. She asked what shampoo and condioner i used I said normal the one I always use. Keratin treatment by treseme. She said that I already stripped the treatment because she had told me so but I didn’t wash my hair until day 3 how she suggested. I had to wash it with whatever I could because the smell is so disgusting i wish I could capture the smell in an image. All she suggested was go back to wash it with her products, I said no. if my shampoo that has so much chemicals and alcohol lime she says haven’t removed the smell what could. She said since I washed it, She can’t re due the treatmebt because I strip it with my shampoo but like I told her I wouldn’t want to have it again and finish killing my hair… so recount;
1. I did everything like she advice
2. Didnt rinse hair until next morning and was only with water… how she advuced.
3. When it dry it was frizzy, dry, worst than ever.
4. The only styled I gave my hair was a flat iron on day 3 still no wash. like she adviced
5. Day 4 I washed my hair finally with no shampoo and the smell was discusting.
6. Day 4 after hair dryed still frizzy and dry and smelling discusting
7.finally washed it with shampoo and conditioner still smell does not want to go away.
4 at night another shampoo and conditioner wash and smell is still there.
I just booked an appointment somewhere else for a full treatment. Hydrating, cut, color, more hydration ill post update of my hair. hope i can revive it…
So this is my experience, we all experience different, just thought I share mine. Also I did tell her I was going to give her my experience review.

This review is long overdue. I’ve been to Geselle’s twice now and she has exceeded my expectations every time!
First off, I love the location. She operates out of a private suite among many other salon suites. I’ve only been to the typical salons in the past where each hairstylist is assigned their own chair, so this was new to me. It’s very clean there and I just love the privacy that it offers.
I was really unhappy with how my hair turned out after getting balayage done by another hairstylist so I took to Instagram to find someone else and randomly stumbled upon Indestructible Beautee’s page. I took a leap of faith and booked her that very week.
At the time, the ends of my hair were really orange and I wanted it to be an ashy blonde. Geselle managed to get me my desired color in the first session! She didn’t anticipate that I had so much hair so it took over five hours to finish everything. I felt terrible because it was already past 10pm, but she was incredibly patient the entire time and never made me feel rushed at all.
I returned several months later so she could lighten my hair even more. On the day of my appointment, she texted me saying that she was really sick and needed to reschedule for the next day. She was extremely apologetic and even threw in a free Olaplex treatment because she felt so bad about the inconvenience. That was very nice of her.

After reviewing groupon’s review and Unilocal’s review, I got the groupon deal for Geselle at Indestructible Beautee. Like the voucher states, I called ahead and made an appointment. I talked to Geselle and made an appointment with her on a Wednesday at 5 pm. The day of my appointment, I arrived to the salon 20 min. early and waited for her. Since i was a bit early, and the salon was closed, I called her but she did not pick up… but she did call me back… to tell me that she forgot about my appointment and instead made a doctor’s appointment for herself. She wasn’t even apologetic about screwing up my schedule, and the fact that I had to drive over 45 min. to get to her place. After guilt tripping her, she did apologize, but it was as if she was forced to say it. She was rude and unprofessional. The reviews on Unilocal look like she does a decent job cutting hairs, but if that’s the customer service I’m going to get, it’s not worth it. I would rather just pay the 10 – 20 bucks extra and get a haircut somewhere closer, with a free shampoo and styling/​blow-​dry. Plus, I probably did spend the 10 – 20 bucks by driving to and back from the salon. What a waste.

First off, I just want to say that I never used to be a salon person… For years I just used at-​home boxed dyes. Last summer I bought a Groupon for Geselle’s hair services, and I SERIOUSLY thought it was going to be a hit it and quit it thing. and OMG Geselle really does work her magic! I just had my fourth visit her yesterday! I always leave her salon feeling so fresh and re-​newed, with a boosted sense of self confidence.
She’s very friendly, easy-​going, easy to talk to. And there’s never an awkward tension in the room. I love how her salon is a studio, very relaxing and classy. Don’t you get annoyed when you walk into a salon and for the whole time you’re there, you just hear loud gossiping inches away from your ear, shouted across the room? I know I do… I love how peaceful I feel, getting pampered at her studio, it’s great!
I’ve never had any problems with her in regards to my hair. She gives great advice, and she’s very educated, and keeps re-​newing her knowledge about the newest and best techniques for stylists! As with everything, the style and technology and techniques of hair, grows with the ages, and it’s good to have a stylist to keep up with the latest trends and techniques!

I’m definitely going to keep coming back to her, because not only are her hair services awesome, she really does have THE BEST customer service for her clients!
