Jonathan Tye, MD

Years ago my husband and I were both patients. My husband had a root canal that got infected, went systemic, and permanently damaged his heart. The brothers Dr Kenneth and Dr Jonathan took very gentle care of him. The stress of my husband’s care finally affected me. The day I came in, it was Dr Jonathan time. His brother is the old fashion doc. Dr Jonathan I took special delight in sparing with him. I had been a pharmaceutical rep for many years, cardiology a specialty, and have no fear of doctors. Dr Jonathan did my angioplasty, and I was up the next day. He warned me about my left carotid blockage not being stintable, said in 5 years I would need bypass. I made it to 11 years. He warned if I made past 5 seconds of angina, a bypass would work. Yep. Here I am. Upgraded.

I consider this an honor to write a review about Doctor Tye and thank the Lord that I was directed here to him. During the last several months I’ve really felt terrible health wise.
I started having symptoms that kinda pointed to acid reflux, hiatal hernia. Well actually, I trusted in people that had those symptoms. I even went to an urgent care that gave me an EKG after having severe chest pains the day before. NOPE… they found nothing.
Dr. Tye took me right in and put me on a treadmill that prints out an EKG /​stress report. As I was on that machine and began to walk faster… the symptoms again showed up. He called in another person. They both looked at the reports and I was told to get to the hospital A.S.A.P.
An hour later, I was in surgery for my heart. Thanks to God… Dr. Tye was able to save me from open heart surgery and installed stents inside of me for my clogged arteries. One was clogged 100%. The other 70% and the third %40. His assistant Dr, Castro (another amazing person) did the follow up and checking up on me.
The next day in the afternoon, I was home and walking around. I still, plan to go out and eat and Unilocal… but more cautiously.
