Hmmm… I’ve been holding off on writing this review for quite some time now – primarily because there are some visits when I’m absolutely satisfied when leaving the store and then there are those other unfortunate times when I would get an icy reception from some of the store associates. I solely only come here when I’m with my mom and she needs to shop for my 8-year old sister… which is actually quite often. lol. The store itself is colorful and fun: glitter, neon colors, peace signs and hearts plastered all over the clothes they sell. I didn’t realize JUST how trendy tweens have become… albeit, most of the clothing sold at Justice stores are not things that anyone over the age of 12 would wear, but when comparing them to what I see the stars on Nickelodeon and the Disney channel are wearing, little girls these days are pretty on point! The prices can be a little steep… $ 40 for a pair of jeans for a 10-year old who will probably grow out of them in 6 months?! Maybe I’m just stingy and cheap, but for pieces that are so trendy and will probably be out next season, I feel like paying full-price for anything in this store is a little ridiculous(maybe I’ve just been spoiled by Forever21 who gives me «trendy» for dirt cheap so when I can’t wear it next fall, I don’t feel TOO guilty.). However, this brings me to Justice’s redeeming quality – SALES and bonus bucks/dollar deals! Usually Justice will hold a «30−40% Off Everything» sale – regular, sale and clearance! And on top of that, they’ll run a deal that if you spend $ 50, you’ll get a discount card that offers you $ 25 off $ 50 that you can use at a later date(it’ll have the promotion dates on the little coupon/card they give you). And you can usually stack these. So if you have two discount cards, you can do one transaction of at least $ 100 and get $ 50 off. Most of the time, however, the«30−40% Off Everything» sale will end the before you can use the bonus buck/discount cards… but if you’re lucky, sometimes they’ll overlap a day – just make sure you remember to go on that day! That will give you the best bang for your buck. Moving on… this particular location is okay. It can get a little messy and disorganized, but what do you expect when most of the customers going through the racks of clothes are little pre-teen girls? Some of the associates here are super sweet and helpful, but I’ve had my fair share of run-ins with completely rude a-holes here. The other day, my mom and I were there, and I was standing by the racks near the register because my mom was browsing through them, and this rude older sales woman asks me in her snooty I’m-so-cool-I-work-at-Justice tone, «Do you need something or what?» Wow. Not even a «Can I help you with anything today?» NOPE! I wish I had gotten her name so I could warn you all about this woman, but honestly, after her biiiiatch moment, I just wanted to get the hell out of there and not have to deal with looking at her stank face. The only reason I’m giving this particular location 3 stars is because Justice’s sales and discounts are great, the clothes are definitely trendy and cute(yet still modest), and 50% of the time I’ll get great service from here. But I think that next time, we’ll just try our luck with the Brea location instead.
