Lawrence Atienza

I’ve worked with Lawrence Atienza doing hair and make up for several of his shoots and occasional weddings.
He is creative, knowledgable, and passionate about his work.
In fact, he is the only photographer I know who beats event coordinators at being organized because he is so meticulous and such a thorough planner. Because of this, I trust his skills and it shows through his pictures. For the most part, Lawrence never has to retouch or photoshop any of his photographs.
His attention to detail and knowledge in technicalities of photography makes him stand out from all the wannabe photographers who call themselves professional just cause they own an expensive camera.
There is a big difference between a hack and a person who really studies the art of photography. Just because you have an eye for things doesn’t make you a good photographer. I mean, I’m creative and I have an eye for hair and make up but I cannot take a good picture even with the aid of instagram.
Every photo session I do with Lawrence is always fun and different. The more out there it is the better! I would recommend his style of photography for anyone who doesn’t want the typical glamour pictures. Lawrence tells a story through his photography. If you hire him for your wedding, he will personalize your pictures to fit you and your significant other. Be ready to be different. You will not be doing the standard pose.

We hired him for our wedding back in 2007 because we loved his style and talent. He had the ability to capture the moment and love. He also had really good attention to detail as well. Very happy with the results! :)
