Very helpful. Great communication! My 9 month old got his barong on time for his baptism. Will be doing business with this place again! Highly recommended. Thank you, Sonny!

Brought my nephew’s measurements with me to shop for a barong to buy him for my wedding. Not only was Lilly very helpful, but she even face timed with my mom and took her on a full blown tour of the shop– in tagalog; so my mom could see the variety in selection for men and women alike. My friend who accompanied me told me later how impressed she was at the selection that was available in the shop. Found the perfect barong for my nephew. can’t wait to see him wear it! The price of the shirt, while jaw dropping to me: I learned was on par for the price of a barong. I will say this: it’s beautiful and I hope he wears it to every special occasion he can until he is too big for it!

I found the light green barong that I needed at this shop. I came here from Cerritos(which is about a 24 mile drive) because they also do their own alterations and will make custom outfits. There is a large selection to choose from, in both traditional and more modern style of Barong. The sizes range from Small to 3XL(although they are a tad on the small-ish side) The ladies who work in the back room were very pleasant and helpful, without being pushy for the sale(so to speak), especially Lilibeth(who may also be the proprietor). The gentleman who helped(Sonny) was very knowledgeable about the entire Barong«experience». He educated me on the proper care for Barong: NEVERDRYCLEAN, only HANDWASH/SOAK INMILDDETERGENT. DONOTWRINGDRYBUTONLYDRIPDRYUNTILSLIGHTLYDAMP, THENUSE A COOLIRON.(Traditionally, ground rice is added to the water, for the fabrics to absorb the starchy component and remain pliable and shiny.) If all this is too much for you, they take in Barong as well for their special cleaning($ 15/shirt).(Yes, hand wash and ground rice and all). He also was very informative about the fact that these Barong are made from a world-wide regulated textile since they are made from all natural fibers: Pineapple(Pina) and Banana(Jusi)(hence the higher prices for them). I was extremely happy with the entire sales and alteration service I received. In fact, our church choir(Mostly Filipino group) will be looking into getting custom made Barong for the future.

What a find! I was desperately looking for a toddler-sized short-sleeved Barong in white for my son’ baptism. I searched everywhere I could and even asked Filipino friends and everywhere I called or visited only carried long-sleeved Barongs(Baptism was in September). I found this little place online and called to see if I could come to the store since the person I talked to said they had what I needed. They also ship their items too. So I drove the 30+ miles to find this cute little shop in the middle of a strip mall. There’s also a Jollibee and Seafood City nearby. The lady working the store that day so nice and brought out exactly what I needed, in white. It also came with satin shorts and even said I could exchange it if the size was wrong. Since the baby was asleep in the carseat with my sister, I asked if I could take the outfit to the car and make sure it fit him and she let me. I came back in, paid her, and she even steamed out the wrinkles, hung it back on the hanger and covered it with a plastic bag. That outfit meant so much and I was so glad to be able to find it here!

Joe, the daddies, and the groomsmen got their barongs for the wedding here. From the beginning Sonny was very cooperative and nice. We bought about 8 barongs total. he was very good about getting us a good discount because we have bought so many. They have a nice selection of barongs and really know their stuff. Because we bought so many, they had to order them in the Phillippines. that came in a timely manner. They met the time line they predicted and we were able to pick them up today. The barongs look FABULOUS! The pressed them before I picked them up and gave us some good tips to keeping them looking nice. I can’t wait for the wedding! Joe’s gonna look so great!

We ordered dresses for our entire bridal party, including our moms’ dresses. Both my dress and my husband’s barong were done beautifully. Our moms’ dresses were also made there. Part of a hem at the back of my mom’s dress, however, was done sloppily(small section, but noticeable up close). That needed to fixing. A couple of our primary sponsors ordered dresses there as well(2 off the rack, 2 custom-made). We gave them a ton of business. We had dresses made for a maid of honor, a matron of honor, 6 bridemaids, 3 junior bridesmaids, 1 flower girl and 3 secondary sponsors. Like many Filipinos, both our families are huge. For the most part, the dresses turned out okay. The final bridesmaid dresses weren’t done exactly the way she drew them when we first chose the shop. The wrap wasn’t worn the way I intended, but it was too late to change the style, since they had already cut the material. The beading wasn’t done the way she drew them either. The most irritating of all was the fact that the support cups sewn into the dresses looked as if they were done by an amateur! Two of my bridesmaids’ cups were actually lop-sided! In the end, they were fixed, but how is that possible when you’re dealing with«professionals»? I chose the place because we envisioned the traditional Filipino look for our wedding. It was centrally located to all in our wedding party and I liked their designs. Aside from that, the owners and staff were good about fixing any problems we had and, in the end, we were all satisfied. Unfortunately, I lost my wrap at our wedding reception. We think it somehow got mixed up with the linen when the ballroom was being cleaned. Maybe one day, God willing, my husband and I can have an anniversary and I’ll have it re-made.

I had to get a couple barongs for my wedding so we headed to this shop. They have a good selection with a variety of sizes. They even steam pressed it for us before we left. It’s about what you would normally pay in the U.S., one was around $ 140 and the other around $ 100.
