Potato Corner

I do like the tater tots ($ 5.09 with drink– giga size tater tots), yes they’re from a bag frozen but don’t care, I’m at the mall walking around with my tater tots. There’s a bit of a wait and you can have your choice of seasoning to put on the taters.
They take card.

Not a huge fan of fries by themselves but this place can get you hooked. I got the small size which is still HUGE! Best way to go is the sweet potato waffle cut fries with BBQ seasoning. Finger licking good!!!

I always stop by this place to get my chili BBQ original fries whenever I’m at the mall. The fries here are delicious, however I do wish the wait wasn’t so long. If you go here, expect at least a 15 min wait.

I think some of the bad reviews here are written by affiliates of the Po Po Potato in the same mall. At least one review even recommended them (I wouldn’t).
I’m adding a star to my review to help offset these false reviews. In reality I’d give this Potato Corner 4 stars.
I’ve had fries from both places in the mall and Potato Corner is several times better than Po Po Potato based upon the flavors and quality of fries. The service is all about the same.
I’m not a huge fan of fries in general but it’s hard not to finish a bucket of these once you start. If you happen to be craving fries, a LOT of fries, this is sure to satiate you.

I’m the biggest potato head there is so when I’m in a mall and I spot a Potato Corner… I know I’m going to have to stop by.
FOOD — 3 Stars: Now, I love Potato Corner and I’ve been to a few locations around the LA area. This location in particular was not my favorite. You can’t go wrong with french fries in any case. However, when they don’t mix the powder enough, then you get some sad french fries. I had the Chili BBQ fries and requested extra powder. When we received our order, we had to ask a couple times for additional powder because it was barely on there even for regular order standards.
SERVICE — 3 Stars: The service could have been better. The girl at the register had a hard time with my order. She seemed unfocused and all over the place. I’m not sure if she was new or overwhelmed, but she was still friendly and all smiles. I didn’t mind waiting for my food since I know that it’s fresh so just be warned that you will have to wait a while.
ATMOSPHERE — 1 Star: I know this is probably out of their control, but there’s not really any seating. There is a bar type setup on the side of it, but it was a bit gross because it was not clean at all. I had to clean it myself, which is never fun. The stool was all wobbly and doesn’t have a backing to it. So, it was interesting trying to eat and balance myself. I suppose it’s good for posture so you don’t slouch… who knows.
RECOMMENDATION: If you’re in the mall and have a craving for french fries, you can stop by and grab it to go. However, if you’re like me, you like to sit and eat. I’d probably get my food and walk somewhere else to eat rather than sit at that bar area again. I’ve been to other locations that are way better on all levels. However, this location will do…

I’m in love with anything potatoes! If there was a French fry heaven, it would be this place. Sour cream and onion sprinkled on some loopy fries?! Somebody please please pleaaaase franchise one of these babies in the Bay Area!

i love any type of potato’s… i was very excited about going to potato corner… wow, what a hugh disappointment !
i ordered the sweet potato fries… yuck, over cooked extremely crispy. no good. and the wings were tinny tiny… defiantly not worth $ price. they wont be in business much longer. save your money, go else where… am serious

We love potato corners and have been a fan for a few years now but this one we had yo wait forever, love the fries but hope they can improve on the service.
Our favorite flavor is definitely sour cream onion and chilli bbq!

Potato Corner is always a taste of home for me, I think it makes me a little biased.
Unbiased review:
The wait is a little longer than you would expect for french fries especially if it is busy and the prices are a little steep for french fries.
Aside from that,
The fries are always fresh and hot, which is why the wait is always so long, but the flavors always hit home and hits the spot. My favorite is Sour Cream & Onion. But, a very close second is BBQ.
Will definately be coming back to get my fix.

I should’ve seen that most of the reviews for this location are written by accounts with less than five reviews.
I love fries but this place was bad in some ways. I went on a weeknight at 7:30pm, not exactly peak time but there are still people walking through the mall…
My fries were cold and not fried to order. I don’t know anybody who’d take these fries over McDonalds fries. Second: the prices are way too expensive for what you get. $ 5 for fries that are simply mixed with seasoning after they’re fried? Last: the wings are a complete rip off. They’re the exact same wings you’d find at a Sizzler salad bar, tiny and extra salty. To be honest, I couldn’t think of a single positive from my experience here…

Girl worker had major attitude with all customers… i was the first customer of the day and you could tell that she did not want to be there! I’m going to try mr. Popo potato down the hall instead of this place! I guess good customer service is hard to find here…

I love my french fries, but Potato Corner was a little disappointing.
The way Potato Corner works is you choose your potato — fries, curly, sweet potato, tots or chips and you add the seasoning of your choice and any dips. I had the regular fries with garlic parmesan seasoning and the sweet potato waffle fries. The regular fries were a little wimpy for my taste and I’ve realized that I’m just not a fan of seasonings other than salt on my fries. I guess it should have been obvious considering I only like plain potato chips! The sweet potato fries were better because I got them plain and the waffle shape made them crispier.
They also have chicken wings and tenders and baked potatoes if you want more of a meal. I think the fries are a little pricey ($ 4 – 5) considering they’re just potatoes and its only a snack. On the plus side, the girls working there were super nice!

Woot Woot! I’m so glad there’s finally a Potato Corner opened in this mall. I love their sour cream and garlic fries. If you love garlic as much as I do, it’s heaven. Unlike other fries, their fries aren’t as greasy and their seasoning is not too heavy. I love their waffle fries, but it’s not such a great value, you don’t get as much as you would if you order just the fries.
***TIP*** If you’re there on the weekend, make sure you’re in line to order, and not with the other people that are waiting for their order. It’s a bit chaotic around that area.

Price is much. But taste is great. So better than McDonald as it is less oil and has tons of flavor. I won’t spend on frapp but would for this. Go figure. The smiley potato mascot is irresistible as well as free samples. Yummmm!

i use to drive all the way to Santa Anita for Potato Corner. FINALLY at a mall near me.
ive tried every combination — Chili BBQ curly fries… THE BEST!!!

Since French fries are one of my favorite foods, I was excited to try this new French fry place at the mall. What really made me go was that I was able to find a groupon deal. I decided to use the $ 5 for $ 10 deal. The place is next to a sushi restaurant and is big enough to where you can’t miss it. I decided to go here one day with my friend. I had $ 10 to spend so I decided to get the chicken combo, which included 3 pieces of chicken tenders and giga size fries. I decided to get the cheddar flavored fries. I also got medium sized strawberry lemonade.
Once we received our order, I was a bit disappointed. When I opened the box I saw that it was about a little more than halfway filled. My disappointment increased when I took a bite of the chicken tenders. The 3 pieces I received were of decent size, but when I took a bite of one of them, the tenders tasted like something I could have bought from the frozen food section and I just heated it up.
Overall, I felt that the service was decent but the food was not up to par to what I was expecting. For a place that has french fries as that main item, they’re going to need to make some improvements on it.

FINALLY! a place for me to JUST get fries! I love it!
The Staff here are friendly and helpful! I wasn’t really sure what to get, so Ivana helped me out.
So far, I’ve only tried the crisscut sweet potato fries with BBQ seasoning, but I’m in love! Will definitely go back for more! And introduce my boyfriend to this place!

Love this place. The food is booooomb and the people who works here are really nice and friendly, especially the cute Filipino girl.

This is a great little place! Today was the grand opening and I tried the wing combo. the wings are very delicious, perfect combination of textures. the fries were pretty good as well. I think I would have liked a more garlic taste to it, but it was still good. they have many other flavors as well.
the staff was friendly.
overall, it is a very good place to just grab a quick bite and enjoy the rest of the day at the mall!
