Amazing instructors and learning environment for the students. They offer school pick up and private lessons. My daughter began attending last year at the age of four and has progressed steadily. Very professional, polite and courteous staff. Highly recommended.

We came to this place looking for an extra activity our daughter could do during summer time and she ended loving it so much that now 3 times a week this is one of her after school favorite activities. The masters are great in teaching all the taekwondo steps and in teaching great values and discipline for the kids.

The West Covina Belt Center teaches more than a Martial Art, they teach Taekwondo as a way of life. The instructors teach character. My son has learned so much about himself. My son loves his school and his Masters. I highly recommend this organization. The instructors know that delicate balance of being disciplinary and caring. You can feel the attention, patience, and dedication to teaching from everyone from this school.

I have my daughter and niece coming here and they love it. The masters are so polite and always keep us informed. They are also very interested in the kids’ performances in school and often talk to them about the importance of being good students. Well worth it.

Us black belt center it’s a serious place, they’re very professional and they’re teaching are according to the korean way of trainkng respect and courtesy , kids find that they can do thinks they never thought it can be done like breaking boards to fly over obstacles while you break boards mid air and rhe confidence they gain thru trainknng and they’re participation in tornaments this is the best tkd schools handsdown.

I’ve been a student here for the past 5 years now and I have learned a lot about discipline, respect, balance, etc. I am currently one belt away from black and I can honestly say, its been a good 5 years. Not only have I learned the physical aspect of Tae Kwon Do, I have also learned to be louder and more confident with myself. Before TKD, I was very quiet and shy, but this has taught me that, it’s OK to be wrong, as long as you realize your mistake and fix it. My endurance is not as good as it was before, so it is a little tough for me. Considering that I have a few medical problems, I’m still doing TKD and pushing through it because it is a good experience every time. I will be honest, I have skipped a few classes due to school work and not enough sleep, but when I do come back, we would always review. If your child struggles to listen or stay still, you should consider sending him/her to Tae Kwon Do. This experience will teach them to be a more controlled person. It helps them to do better in school, at home, have more confidence, learn to respect elders and others, and to know their strengths and weaknesses. I currently go to 4:05 class on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Instructor Poli has been teaching these classes. He’s very strict depending on the behavior of the students. If you get on his good side, he will give you a welcoming smile and won’t seem as aggressive as he did before(during class). Grandmaster is here most of the time as well. Class: Regular classes –Monday and Tuesday are form classes. –Wednesday and Thursday are kicking classes. –Friday is sparring classes. Adult classes –Tuesday is form classes –Wednesday is kicking classes –Thursday is sparring classes. Note: Monday and Friday don’t have adult classes. Form classes usually start with punching, then forms of each belt, then if the instructor/master sees something we need to fix then we work on that. Kicking classes consist of the kicks of each belt and some cardio. Sparring classes have no-count form, 1vs1 with sparring gear, and cardio. In this class, you will discuss strategies/skills to win in the sparring ring. It also teaches you to move quickly, think faster, and test your reflexes.
