Double class, got my butt kicked;))~ Cycle&Yoga class with Jen is awesome fun, nice pace that in the end gets results. Then Cycle&Barre“Cyco~Barre” with Kim a sweet spoken gal that literally turns on the afterburners as soon as she switches on. This place has great presence and I really don’t want to say to much because it may get super busy and I’ll have to keep my classes booked way in advance. That’s not a problem as I’m kind of hooked and it’s only been a month that I’ve been taking classes. My other favorite class is with Judd the Cycle&TRX class that is fast and furious but he always makes it fun, the results are killer and you will just want to take more. Well I recommend this place and suggest you take them up on their free trial week before this place explodes, supper fun!

Oh! To finally write this review! There are few things sweeter than pouring love on a new business that pulls at the strings of your heart. This is the case with Down Cycle Dawg. Let me start by saying music with some serious bass is a total turn on. I guess I could be polite and say things like, «oh, the music was nice… and loud.» But I’d rather tell you in true Brittany fashion that these classes were a total turn on in the sense that bass was not only filling the room but that the playlist was top notch. To take things a step further, the lights are lowered(taking all pressure off beginners) and there’s a disco ball-ish contraption overhead. Yes, people, this is the sexiest spin class you’ll ever attend. As an out-of-towner, my heart melted when my fellow spinners and the instructor/owner welcomed me with open arms. It was like crawling on to a bike with friends your own age and a few of your mom’s friends. Perfection. The studio offers a «one free week» pass online for new customers. If you give this a whirl, I highly recommend the signature yoga/spin class which is what I had the pleasure of trying during my visit. Thirty minutes of medium level spinning rounded out by 30 minutes of yoga geared at loosening the muscles used during the spin class. These two classes/forms of exercise are a match made in heaven. I especially enjoyed that I didn’t have to pay extra to walk away with both under my belt. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this business and look forward to dropping in the next time I’m in Iowa.
