First time here, went for lunch. The atmosphere is welcoming, and there’s all sorts of memorabilia covering the walls. It’s a pretty casual place; order at the counter, find your seat, and pay when it’s all ready. Half a sandwich, chips, and a glass of water will run you $ 4.50, and a full one goes for about $ 8.00. I had the Roast Beef and Provolone, and I was more than impressed with the quality of the sandwich. As another reviewer said, this place is clean, quaint, and simple. If you’re looking for that, definitely give it a try, especially for a light lunch. You’ll be glad you did.

Excellent food. Turkey and Swiss was excellent. Cheeseburger chowder was very rich and filling. Reuben was great but not toasted

Went for lunch. They suggested a Reuben so that’s what I got. Wow! What a great sandwich. If you want a quaint clean simple place with good food give it a try!

We had a delightful lunch here on a Saturday before strolling around Valley Junction. The décor inside is very welcoming and takes you back in time a bit. The staff was very friendly. I appreciated the unique options they had. I also liked the options for iced teas. They do limit the refills to 1. The biggest drawback to me is the price. I found them a bit high.

Oh My God, i love this place. it’s right in Valley junction and fun to go at anytime of the year. Sometimes i’ll even go there in lieu of the street vendors during their street fairs. They’ve got delicious sando and all kinds of tasty, crazy soups– like cheeseburger soup. And the staff is always friendly.
