Great place for wonderful coffee products. The baked goods, soups, and simple breakfast offering won’t let you down. My favorite coffee house in the Des Moines area!

The only thing I have eaten here is a pumpkin bar, which was pretty good, but they have great coffees and teas and wonderful service here. I like that it’s an independently owned place and in Valley Junction, which is close to home and a nice place to stop for a treat while shopping.

Inspired Grounds has good coffee and tea. I haven’t tried their food, but it’s a good place to grab and go. And don’t be too taken aback if a child takes your order, it will turn out fine!
I really like Historic Valley Junction, so I would suggest popping in for a tea or a coffee to go and then enjoying the surrounding shops! The Bobbi is good stuff; their hot beverages are great for a grab and walk excursion!
I have to say the vibe here is a little weird, and it has a really strong cooking meat smell. You can absolutely smell the panini grill (not sure if that’s the name — but I’m pretty sure that’s where the smell came from). My husband and I left really soon after arriving because I think there was a class or something happening in the back of the store, so it was just awkward to be sitting in the background. This is why I mention good drinks, but I don’t think I would ever sit and chill here.

I’m sort of a snob when it comes to my coffee. Just because it comes from a chain doesn’t mean it’s overrated, likewise just because it’s from an independently owned shop doesn’t mean it’s amazing. This place, however is the real deal.
Immediately upon entering you’re greeted with a very at-​home, relaxed vibe. The owner greets you and tells you about his daily brews and then it’s up to you to decide how you take your coffee.
I love iced coffee and I have to say, this is the smoothest, most delicious coffee I’ve ever tasted. I added organic vanilla and cream and went to caffeine heaven!
Check this place out as you meander around the Des Moines area, your taste buds will be pleased.

Great coffee and the place seems like a wonderful evening coffee spot. Don’t know if they have evening hours, but it is clear it can support a good size acoustic act.

A great place to study and hang out. We ordered the veggie wrap and a cappuccino. The chipotle dressing was to die for and the cappuccino was nice and full bodied. Overall a great reasonably priced café.

I had the breakfast special, and I really liked the bacon, eggs, and buttered toast. They did not skimp on the butter or the bacon, and the price was reasonable.
The coffee was tasty, and I liked that they used organic half and half.
The place is clean and roomy, and service is friendly. Recommended.
