Our annual visit to Vermont would not be compete without a visit to Dot’s. It is nearly always bustling and often has a line waiting to get in, especially for breakfast. For the past decade I usually only get one thing; the chili. It is some of the best I’ve had; perfect on a cold, winter’s day. The accompanying corn bread is appropriately grainy, sweet and outstanding. Their burgers are juicy and tasty; served with fantastically-crisp steak fries(also some of the best we’ve had!) They have something for everyone served by hard-working wait staff and a very hard-working kitchen staff! We love Dot’s!

This place is so cute and the service is amazing. Everyone is super friendly. I ordered the California Benedict and it was the best I ever had. A must try for any vegetarian

The chocolate chip french toast was a great blend of pancake consistency with french toast construction. Every bite was awesome. I went back for the spanish omelette which was also solid. Very good service and excellent breakfast!

Service was very slow. Simple lunch sandwiches took a long time to come out. Lunch sandwiches were skimpy, tasteless, and overpriced. Fries were a la carte… $ 2 for a very small portion. I think you get the point… we did not have a great experience here. We went to 7 – 11 right after to compete our meal but wished we had just gone there from the start and skipped Dots altogether.

Adorable place, rustic and quirky décor, friendly staff, fairly quiet place, lots of options for kids, and the best part of my experience — THESUNFLOWERBREAD and of course, the maple syrup! My friend got fried chicken and waffles which was warm, not too bready(the chicken) and was well spiced, the waffle was dense and crisp on the outside but warm and soft on the inside. Did I mention that the maple syrup was out of control?! I got the Western Omelet with the bomb sunflower toast, thanks to our wonderful server’s suggestion. Their coffee is not that zingy or zippy, but it gets the job done. It’s a quaint place, next to an antique’s store which adds to the character of this place, and it seems well located between some resorts and the thick of the town! Definitely stop by here for a spot of brunch next time you’re in this neck of the woods!

Very unimpressed. Food was ordinary, the salad didn’t have the meat it was supposed to have; there was an upcharge to substitue. The place was messy, trash on the floor.

The last time we went we waited forever for food. They brought all the adults breakfast but forgot the toddlers. He wasn’t very happy. Cranky toddler equals unhappy grandparents. Seem like they didn’t have enough staff on hand.

Love Dots of Dover. Cute place near the local movie theater with reliable and filling breakfast and lunch options. Go go breakfast and experience a hearty Vermont Breakfast. Lots of locals and visiting ski families. Great for kids, they love the milkshakes.

Came in about 830 sunday am. Waitress was at our table instantly with coffee. Food came out fast. Hash, omelette, breakfast sandwich, and french toast were all delicious and clearly freshly made. Highly recommend this place!

Easy easy 5 stars for Betsey and the fine people over at Dot’s of Dover. So polite and cheerful but the service wasn’t sacrificed. Got my food like THAT. Got the big breakfast, 2222, eggs bacon sausage pancakes, respectively. Flew in for iTVfest and had this both mornings I was here because it was so good. Come, eat, have some good company. Ask Betsey to sing. She will.

Great breakfast food! My wife loved her breakfast. Not the fastest service, but you’re in Vermont. Relax. Not sure I understood the review that criticized the French Toast for having eggs. That’s how it should be made. A great breakfast all around. Not cash only anymore. They accept CCs.

Stopped in for lunch with my sister. The restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My sister had a sandwich(can’t remember what kind) and chips. She was satisfied. I had a brunch special that was just ok. It was a veggie omelette that alright-I probably should have had them put cheese in it. The home fries were not good– overcooked and cold. I didn’t eat them. We both had lemonade which was refreshing. I’d like to give Dots 2 ½ stars, but I’ll give the 3 because the service was good and the place is inviting. Won’t be racing back, though.

Dots was a nice little place very close to Mount Snow. The menu was pretty nice and the service was good. I had the Saturday special, which was a choice of Mexican food. I elected to have fajitas, which were very good. They serve breakfast all day so if you’re in the mood for comfort food you can get it.

This was the second time I stopped in… The breakfast specials are always good and the French Toast & pancakes are amazing! Service is not best but the coffee makes up for it.

If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, then Dots needs to be re-educated. While the restaurant may be a homey spot for locals, I believe most visitors(snowboarders and skiiers) come here for pre-mountain fuel. The breakfast fare is standard, but the execution is a mixed bag. Avoid any of the french toast(regular or special), as they are pieces of bread that are very«eggy»; think of scrambled eggs on toast. The big breakfast is hearty. Steak and eggs? Meat was not cooked properly but it wasn’t worth sending back and waiting for a replacement. If there is a wait, there is complimentary coffee available. Once seated the water jug we got for the table was dirty. The waitresses are nice, but it’s obvious this restaurant can’t handle a full breakfast service. Service, is slow. Dots of Dover is one of those necessary evils when you visit in Mount Snow if you want breakfast that’s not from 7 – 11. I only come because my group of friends want a sit-down diner style meal. I prefer 7 – 11. Cash only. IFHTP3+
