I only gave 2 stars because our server was excellent. The food was bland, cooked incorrectly(my steak fajitas were so tough that it was nearly inedible), and what’s worse is that when we mentioned to the manager that one of our parties’ meals wasn’t correct, she tried to throw our server under the bus and say that she rang it in wrong. That seemed really underhanded and wrong to me. All of us in this 6 person party had underwhelming or bad meals and we called that to the managers attention. She gave us our meal for free and said it in an exasperated tone. To be clear that is *NOT* what we wanted! It was simply a matter of quality; I can see one meal coming out wrong or not so great but when it’s ALL6 people? We tipped our server and reassured her that she was a great server and that we weren’t upset with her. We weren’t even upset, per say, just disappointed. We won’t be back, but I do really hope this manager gets her head out of the sand and speaks to her kitchen staff about this.

Food is good but mixed drinks are basically fruit punch. Very typical of chili’s.

Late lunch on Tuesday afternoon. Server is nice and food is good. But it takes a long time before our food comes out and we did not order anything hard to cook…

Went there for my hubby’s birthday was very disappointed with the service. He’s really picky with his food and you can tell the waitress was annoyed of all of his requests. Food was good and the 2 for 20 is a great deal only reason I’m giving 3 stars because the service could’ve been a lot better.

This place is horrible. Dirty, and the service wasn’t much better. A clean table and quick service when there are only 3 tables seated in your half of the place isn’t too much to ask for in my opinion.

Dined here a few weekends ago, the service was horrible. If took forever for a waitress to come and when she did, it was like we were bothering her. When she brought are drinks she slammed them down on the table. The food was super salty, but she never came back so we could tell her. When she cleared our plates and we told her about the salty food, she just said«really? Here’s your bill.» And told us to use the gross sticky kiosk if we were paying with a credit card. So that is the end of our days dining at this particular location! I left. Comment on their website, it took a week to hear anything back from them! Do they care?

Came here for dinner tonight and had the worse service ever. The staff was rude and never checked in on us or asked us if we needed refills on drinks. Love the food at Chilis but unfortunately we won’t be coming back to this location.

While the food is predictably good, there are some things lacking in this restaurant. From chips n salsa, to a kid’s meal, to a taco platter or even a burger… It’s all good. The newer plates are a plus, however food presentation could be a bit better. The restaurant itself is showing its age. The wood parts of the tables are annoyingly sticky, so much so that in summer it’s not pleasant to rest your forearm on them. The outside of this particular Chili’s has received some updated awnings and plants. The inside just looks like its in need of a new updated look as well. Sadly, since the nearby Target closed, we hardly travel to this side of town now. Thus we don’t stop in as much anymore. Service is always attentive, quick processing of food tickets and drink orders.

I have always gotten GREAT service from this place! Tonight my bf and I were going to see a movie and were in a bit of a time crunch. Server brought food at perfect pace and everything was out quickly. I paid with fancy little computer and did not have to wait for a bill. When I asked for a togo cup she brought me a full new one which was also a plus!!! Nicole from this resturant is very efficent and my bf and I are very pleased!

Always have the buffalo chicken salad so I can’t recommend much. Salads are pretty good here.

It’s just not a good product anymore. My family of four just went there for the last time. Except for their chips and salsa which I will still get to go. Fact: their menu has 18 pages of food and beverages. 18.

It is Chili’s. If you log in with Foursquare, you get free chips and salsa. They were very slow when we were there, so the service was great. Food was good, as usual. Would come back if I were in the mood for American fare.

CHIPS&SALSA. By far that is always one of my most favorite parts of eating at Chili’s. But, the service is good, and the food is good so that makes up for my hankerings for their chips & salsa. We especially like this location.

One of the longest standing restaurants in West Dundee — and with good reason! If you come in during the day, ask for Kali or Karyn. Liz, David, or Brent are great servers at night time. Obviously, I’m a regular and there are plenty of more regulars that go here, too.

haven’t been to a chili’s in a while, so we thought why not give it a try. I always liked there food, just never stood out above the rest. It was the same this time as well. Friendly waiter and ok food. I ordered the margarita chicken over a bed of rice and beans, I actually ate the rice and beans and ended up saving my chicken for lunch the next day. They do have a really cool machine at the tables now that you can swipe your credit card through to pay for your meal. Nice so you dont have to wait for them to bring you your check!

Yep, it’s a Chili’s and I am not expecting much — but I still expect the food to be cooked right and have flavor — this location never seems to ‘get it right’. The staff is very helpful and cheerful, but they need to do something with the kitchen staff. Décor-wise, the restaurant is dark — so much so that it can be hard to read the menus at night. Other ‘newer’ Chili’s seem to be much brighter than this location.

I hadn’t gone to Chili’s in some time, but my husband wanted to go, so I went along. Just awful. I had the Chicken club tacos. Bland, less than fresh meat with more lettuce than anything else. It came with a side of rice Th corn and cilantro which tasted just as it sounds. I hate cilantro, so that’s not the restaurant’s issue, but it was just blah. They have little touch screens on the table with games you have to pay to play and the screen was sticky, as was the dessert menu. My husband got the chicken strips, which he likes, he offered me his corn on the cob, but it was obviously cooked and reheated and was most likely frozen to begin with, so I declined. The server was fine, extremely loud but attentive. I can’t imagine why people go here if there’s anything else available within a 50 mile radius.

As I was eating here today I happened to pull up the Unilocal reviews for this restaurant. I have to say that the other reviews I found so far motivated me to add my two cents. We live near this restaurant and we eat here fairly regularly. We’ve always had a nice experience, and that is what keeps us coming back. Friendly staff, timely service, and good strong drinks. To those who wrote negative reviews about this location, I’d like to say: This is a Chili’s restaurant people. If you are looking for fine dining with high quality presentation you shouldn’t be in a Chili’s in the first place. You should also know exactly what you’ll be paying. Does this location get busy on the weekends, and after work hours? Yes, but that’s also part of the charm of this type restaurant, right? This location is just as good if not better than any other Chili’s I’ve ever been in, and we will continue to support this local restaurant and staff. So if you like the Chili’s menu, come to this location right near the Spring Hill Mall and enjoy!

I’ve been here twice this year, at the request of two separate sets of friends. Despite the pleasant view of greenery outside the ample windows, it would definitely not be my own choice if a satisfying meal at a fair price was my goal. Next time friends want to go here, I will strongly urge them to go elsewhere. Visit #1: Chips were good, especially after ordering guacamole and sour cream to augment the salsa. Avocado burger was decent. «Free» refills of soda or iced tea, are actually more than paid for within the inflated prices of the menu items, justified neither by quality nor quantity. Visit #2: Chips without guacamole and sour cream were best plain, without the salsa. Loaded Texas Cheese Fries, which contained less than fresh ingredients, including visibly dry jalapenos, were picked at briefly by a companion, who found this dish quite unpalatable, even with the thin, watery ranch dressing provided. Sirloin steak was dry, not grilled to order, and the grill marks may or may not have been genuine. Sauteed shrimps were undercooked. Vegetables were bland and sparse. Spicy coleslaw was inedible, especially since I mistakenly assumed that it was going to be conventional coleslaw. Unrequested soda refills went to waste. In conclusion, this small, less than mediocre meal was quite unsatisfactory, especially upon receiving the bill.

I’ve lived in the Dundee area for 37 years. Why I haven’t gotten around to eating at the local Chili’s is beyond me. I guess that’s a good thing. Let me get the good items over with first – The house Margarita’s are good. The Chips n Salsa are good too. But that’s where it ends. Other than the above two items, this place is a total downer. The restaurant is old and dirty. The bathrooms equally dingy. In fact, upon visiting the loo before dinner, I observed one of the sinks featuring a splattering of BLOOD. Unsanitary and gross. The service was«OK», but the food was a total abortion. Every item we ordered had the texture and appearance of being reheated in the microwave. The dessert of a chocolate brownie and scoop of vanilla ice cream was equally disgusting. The brownie was either frozen and reheated in the microwave or completely undercooked, I couldn’t tell which. Either way, it wasn’t done — just a puddle of mush. Thank God we had a gift certificate(which, oddly, I had sitting around for two years) otherwise I’d have been truly ticked off paying for that poor excuse of a meal. This place truly needs to go away.
