Out of the four tenants of Spring Hill Mall that I ventured into last Saturday, this one was my favorite, the Glitter store. Loved the customer service I received from the guy who was working inside the store. And, I loved the many accessories that were on the shelves. There are many earrings, pierced and clip-on, and many rings priced at $ 1. Some rings were priced at $ 1.99. There were hair accessories and handbags available for higher prices. What I purchased were two pairs of clip-on earrings and a container of blue nail polish. Although I am a huge fan of clip-on earrings, I cannot help but rave about the nail polish I purchased here. It’s a dark-blue nail polish, very reminiscent of the Midnight Blue nail polish by SInful Colors sold for $ 1.99 at Walgreens stores. And just like that kind, it is fast-drying, requires only one coat, and is very shiny. And for just $ 1 too. Hey, I’ve used $ 1 nail polishes from Perfumania in the past and they all smeared or lost their shine if you touched a fingernail with one coat with another finger, requiring two or more coats. This can’t be said about the nail polish sold at Glitter. If you wouldn’t like to make the 30+mile trek to the Glitter store at Spring Hill Mall, like I did via the Metra MDW line and Pace 552 bus, there are other Glitter stores in the area. I haven’t stepped into them, but I know where they are-Chicago Ridge, Ford City, River Oaks, Stratford Square, and Gurnee Mills. This location, the Stratford Square location, the Chicago Ridge location, and the Gurnee Mills location are the only ones I’ll go to. Returning to this location next month, or planning to, and I’m purchasing a pair or two of pierced earrings for my church pastor who wants some thanks to me showing off the clip-on earrings I purchased from this store the very next day while in church service.
