Grid 7 Manages my property. I must say that i am lucky to have them as a property management company. I live across the nation and not available to deal with the rental issues. They are new age folks and work very well with eMails. If its very urgent its only then that they will call me. In case i do request something via mail i get very prompt and clear in the communication. Grid 7 takes care of all the tenants needs and always gets my approval before starting any work on the property. Also they do a real low cost high quality job for any required work. They do advice me to fix any small problem which may become an expensive issue in the long term. I had to go thru an eviction process. They helped me steer thru the complicated process and the advice provided by them was excellent. I thank them for helping me and seeing that the property is back in my possession and ready for the next rental. I am so glad that they are managing my property.

I am very disappointed in Grid 7 properties actions. I am looking for a place for my 70 year old mother and reached out to the company for an available apartment. I went to see the place and it was a nice place. The agent named Patrick Ryan assisted me and told me it would take up to 48 hours for a response. Well i submitted my application on a monday and did not hear from him or anyone for a week. i called in and my app had not been processed. They told me there was a problem with their vendor and that they would let me know. 2 weeks passed and no communication from patrick. I had to call the company and they told me they were still having problems with their credit vendor even though my payment was accepted. Wanted the place, I didn’t want to be a bitch about the lack of communication, I stayed very pleasant and cordial even though I felt a bit disrespected since Patrick had not returned any of my phone calls. I had to actually ask to be assisted by someone else. So 3 weeks later when they finally ran the credit report, no one called me and said anything. I had to call in and ask to speak to patrick’s boss only to find out that the owners had the application and was evaluating it. I spoke to patrick and he told me the owners would make a decision and he would get back to me. this was on a wednesday 3 weeks after our first initial contact that was supposed to take 48 hours. I did not get a call from him on thursday and friday called in for a refund. Meghan, the receptionist said she would talk with the manager and get back with me before the end of the day on Friday. I did not hear from her, the manager or patrick at all. I called back close to the end of the day on monday and demanded a refund. Meghan checked with the manager and completely denied my refund because Patrick said he spoke with me and told me that the owners denied the application. This was a flat out, bald faced lie. My mother is a senior and was on edge the entire time. She should not have had to deal with the stress of their company not being efficient. I am very disappointed in the actions of this company and would NOT recommend any interaction with this company at all. My money was never refunded and my mother who is not rich had to start over and lost a full month in finding a place.

I’m not sure why it took me so long to consider hiring a property management company, but all I can say is I’m beyond glad I work with Grid 7 now. I was trying to rent my condo from across the nation, and they do all that work for me now. However, not only is it a convenience because of my location, but they are SOEASY to work with. I can email or call literally ANYONE in their office and get responses within the day(and usually withing minutes). Every time I have called, they know who I am, and know my property. They’re amazing. I should also say my property has to jump through several hoops because of City/County regulations(crime prevention awareness licenses, etc.), and they do all that for me too. This team truly is amazing. Also, I’m a lawyer, and care deeply about keeping my clients educated and informed timely. In general, I really care about customer service, and I’m quick to write off companies that don’t perform to my level. Again, I’ve been blown away, and very, very happy with Grid 7.

Grid 7 managed one of my properties in Hoffman Estates. It has been a nightmare working with them. They said they would apply for the rental license for the property and I recently found out that they hadn’t applied for it until I asked about it last week. It has been 6 months since I first asked them to apply for the rental license! There were multiple times when I called the agent Alyssa and Meghan they would not respond until I called again in 2 days. There was a time the owner wanted me to fix something, I told Grid 7 to go ahead and fix them. And I contacted them in 2 weeks and asked if the maintenance work was done just to find out that they hadn’t taken any actions! Please. Please stay away from Grid 7.

I am HIGHLY dissapointed with this company. At first I was very pleased they were professional and quick. I rented a condo from them. I put down 900.00 and set a move in date. I went by the property to show off to my friend(before I moved in) how excited I was! Upon my arrival I met the neighbor. HEOFFEREDMEDRUGS, HEALSOWASSMOKINGWEEDOUTSIDE! and ASKEDIF I WAS A «COPCALLER» HEALSOSTATEDTHATTHENEIGHBORSLIKETO «TURNUP» in the summer and I look like a «COPCALLER» Not only was I profiled by this neighbor violated and disrespected, But now this managment company refuses to give me back at least SOME of my deposit. Also they quick responses to emails has stopped it now takes a day to communicate with them. How can they expect me to move into somewhere that is like this? I am a single mid 20’s woman it is simply not safe.
