Dinner with my wife and 1 year old was great. Christian, our server treated us very well and came back a few times to check in on us. I had the Dueling Lobster, my wife had the land and sea combo, and my son had the Broiled fish with Oranges(he likes fruits a lot and preferred orange over the fish). Overall, dinner and service was great with the exception of the bitter people who seems to hate kids sitting next to us. What I’m pretty disappointed with was the bitter couple and with another lady that sat table by us. Granted, our son wasn’t the quietest when he was eating since we are trying to feed him fish and he wanted oranges… Basically, my wife’s post below: NEVERTHOUGHTTHISWOULDHAPPENTOME! So we went out to Red Lobster for dinner tonight. Ethan got pretty fussy when his dinner came out because he saw oranges and loves his fruit. We were trying to get him to eat his real dinner but he kept screaming. We were trying to calm him down quietly but he still wouldn’t stop so we gave in and started to feed him his oranges. He went back and forth between screaming and being quiet. There’s a couple and another lady seated close by to us and they asked to be moved. Yes. Whatever I don’t care and totally understand. But as they were moving to their new spot, the guy looks over and says«Thanks a lot» So I can’t keep my mouth shut and get into it with them and tell them youre welcome. The lady tells me they could barely talk to each other and I’m sorry but he is only one years old, he is still learning! It’s not like I brought him here to ruin everyone’s dinner. They must’ve never been parents before to say such a thing. They tell me they are parents and their child wouldve never acted that way. They say something and I tell them that I’m going to enjoy my dinner with my son. I’m still very angry about what happened… there is no need for such rude remarks.

Wow what a nice early Valentines Day I had with my man Pete! He took me to Red Lobster near Spring Hill Mall last Friday for an excellent dinner. We ordered drinks, got those delish endless cheddar bay biscuits, house salads with this delish blueberry vinegerett dressing, and for the main course we both got delish crab linguini Our waiter was Tannar and he was very knowledgeable of the menu selections, attentive, and very nice, and is great at his job I reccomend everyone to go to Red Lobster! Also we just love their LobstersBest Valentines Day Ever!

The food here is consistently good, I’ve been here multiple times in the past few months and I haven’t been disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and the speed of service is usually good also.

I only gave 2 stars because the food was really good. Came today for lunch on a wednesday. With my fiancé and son. Probably 3 other couples here. With 3 to 4 waiters. Took 10 minutes to attend us. Our waitresses name was heather. Real nice, but really super super slow on service. Took more than 20 minutes for our appetizer, another 25 for out food. We order mac n cheese for out son. Which probably could have made at home. I’d expect more at Red lobster but the meal was still enjoyable

First time dinning in, probably wont be back. Waitress was rude, she never came & asked if our food was good. So i decided not to even say that the mash potatoes where cold & the shrimp was hot. & first off always give the ladies, their food & drinks before. & She told the manager all late about it. I would have asked for a better server off the bat, but it was already to late. Waited on a refill on water for about 10 minutes. Wish we had hot food & a better server.

It’s a red lobster. If you want consistency, come here. Waited was friendly, and quick on the refills of both drink and biscuit. The chicken Cajun pasta was as good as it ever was. It might be mass produced, but at least it was engineered to taste good.

Twice now I have been here and the service has been deplorable. I had been sitting for 15 mins on a quoted 5 – 10 minute wait for a booth in the bar. Just looking up there were 4 empty booths within my line of sight. The food is mediocre, the crab legs over cooked. The stars are for the biscuits and the carrot cake. It used to be that RL was always good for a solid meal, it’s disappointing to see their service and quality go down do dramatically.

One word: Disappointment! The shrimp are unbelievably small, low quality seafood, bland flavor. Mediocre atmosphere, average to low quality service and cleanliness. And to think this used to be my favorite restaurant growing up… disgusting!

Honestly, my wife hates fish, so it is hard to drag her here. We went tonight and the food sucked. I got 16 mediocre shrimp for $ 14.00, when I could have bought an entire bag of 70 shrimp for $ 12.00. The portions use to be bigger, but now they are a weight watcher’s lunch portion. The service was awful and my son said«there is a lot of old people here!» Those old people are keeping this business afloat! I wish the red lobster staff took notes from the Olive Garden staff. They are both Darden companies. Priced the same, but are two very different experiences. After this experience, I will not be returning to Red Lobster, unless I am forced to go with friends. I would rate Long Johns Silver higher!

My mom and I visited this location on a road trip, and I think it was the best dining experience we’ve had at a Red Lobster. Our server was so friendly and attentive. We split a meal, and she had everything put on separate plates without us even asking. If we lived in the area, we’d definitely be back often. Highly recommended.

The mango jalapeño grilled shrimp is rather bitter, not appealing to me at all. Red Lobster used to be the kind of chain conglomerate that I’d be excited to go to if I had the money for it… But the quality has seriously gone down hill the last few times I’ve visited. The only thing worth the money, in my opinion, is the Sunset Passion Colada: a piña colada with a splash of strawberry daiquiri on top with a really nice strawberry and pineapple garnish. The food, however, leaves something to be desired. The cheddar bay biscuits are always delicious though.

This is our local Red Lobster location — and we dine here quite frequently. This past Saturday(2⁄2), my husband, myself and our 2 kids, took my parents out to eat to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Typically, when we’ve dined here before, we’ve always been asked if we are there celebrating anything. This time we were seated, and shortly after our server, Don, came by. There was no smile, no greeting, no nothing. Simply took our drink orders, pointed to the special menu on the table and left. He didn’t explain any specials or even suggest anything. We had to ask for refills on our drinks, and had to ask for more biscuits(a table of 6 guests were only given 7 to start with — yet in the past when we’ve come in as a party of 4, we’ve gotten 6 or 8 to start with). Once we had our food, he never came over to check and see how everything was. We finally got one brief hint of a smile when he asked if we needed any take-home boxes and we said yes. It was almost as if he were glad we were leaving! I’ve never quite felt so much like an inconvenience as he made us feel. The food was all excellent. It was the service that was severely lacking this time, and that was very disappointing.

Well, after returning here for lunch at a friend’s request, I am determined to insist upon another establishment in the future, and my lunch mates are in agreement. The wait staff, while seemingly attentive, was not paying attention, since I received a regular instead of a diet soft drink, and our request for more cheddar biscuits, although acknowledged, was never delivered, despite very few patrons to attend to. As for the food, the portions and item sizes were even skimpier than already expected. I mean, can’t the generously sized salad bowl at least have the illusion of being filled by adding and fluffing in just a little more lettuce with enough dressing to taste? The scampi were smaller than the small frozen shrimp at the store, the full-flowered, pale broccoli was crumbly-dry, and the marble-sized scallops were a cruel joke. Still hungry, because they didn’t refill our biscuits, we decided against the $ 6 to $ 7 desserts that were composed of common fare, and were surely undersized for their price. Wonderful commercials, with trumped up photos and menu descriptions, led to great disappointment when our plates were set before us. A low tip helped us to recoup at least a few dollars of the exorbitant amount wasted.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. Love the fish, love the shrimp, the crab and lobster eaters among my family and friends love the crab and lobster … it’s been too long since I’ve had scallops, my favorite seafood, to provide a fair comment, but if memory serves, I loved ‘em here. Pretty standard salads but … those danged cheddar biscuits … They are so good it’s positively dangerous. This visit started out on the wrong foot due to a misunderstanding(a friend called to put our name on the wait list, told there is no wait, got there — there’s a lengthy wait). The manager, once involved, went out of her way to take care of things. Started with drinks. I ordered a froo-froo drink which was so tasty I could drink that all day long — well, until I passed out from too much rum. Then they brought out those darned cheddar biscuits — LOTS of ‘em. No skimping here. Of course they’re stuffing you full of bread in case you order the endless shrimp special, but wow, they sure kept ‘em coming. We weren’t complaining. I had a salad. Though nothing special, they do dice the tomatos fine, which I like better than having a big ol’ chunk o’ tomato to have to deal with. Also went with the baked potato. The outside was sprinkled with large crystals of salt, I ate it all up. I went with that endless shrimp special. Mmmm. Mmmm. Scampi? Always good. Teryaki? Very good. I wanted more sauce on ‘em, but the taste was there so, maybe I’m wrong. I reordered my fair share of those two, skipping the«plain» fried shrimp entirely. And then … I ordered the coconut shrimp. Dang! Wish I had listened to someone I was with, that may have been the ONLY thing she ordered. That should’a been a clue! The shrimp is excellent but, the sauce! The sauce! The. Sauce. It is so close to being coconut cream pie filling, for shrimp! Gaahh! Bring me a pitcher of THAT stuff! By then I was full, so all I got was one order of that golden fried coconut shrimp with coconut cream sauce. Man, that stuff was good. The waitstaff was excellent, we never waited or wanted for anything(I was worried about that because we raised a stink about the wait in the beginning — no worries). Note: The endless shrimp special was close to endless — no «here’s five shrimp, we’ll bring you more in half an hour» trickery. Fairly pricey, but what isn’t nowadays? It’s not fast-food fried shrimp, there’s actually a recipe involved somewhere. In all, a nice change of pace, or a treat. Edit: Another review mentioned«small shrimp.» Yeah, I noticed that too. A small dish of scampi had like sixteen teensy-tiny shrimp in it. That hasn’t always been that way, has it? Probably the same weight in shrimp, but I’d rather have eight good-size shrimp than sixteen popcorn shrimp.

This was a huge disappointment. Went there for a late Saturday lunch and the first tip off should have been the lack of cars in the parking lot whereas all of the other restaurants on the same side of the street were full. Restaurant was basically empty so majority of seating all took place in same room. What we noticed were the amount of wait staff all running around clearly seemed to out number the patrons. Still we needed to wait for our server. First thing she did was to apologize for the wait but she is so busy, etc. etc. The music piped in was ridiculously loud. After a long wait for just our salads in which she again apologized for the wait but she is busy, etc. etc. I asked if there was anyway she could have the volume turned down on the music. Sure, no problem she will tell manager. Twenty minutes and 1 aspirin later she brings our food. I take one bite of a scallop and it is still raw inside. I flag the server down and tell her scallop is raw. She apologizes again and this time I tell her please… no more apologies, can you have this cooked and can you PLEASE have the music turned down. She goes to take my whole plate with her and I say, no I will have nothing to eat so just take the scallops and I put them on a bread dish for her. A manager came up to apologize and told me that my scallops would be up soon and that he would turn the music down which he did and my throbbing head appreciated it. 15 minutes later another manager brings the scallops to me and said I understand that you didn’t like the scallops. I said no, they were not cooked. He then went and turned the music up to the decibel level it was when we came in. First manager now comes back when I am finally trying to eat and starts telling me about their new promotion and gives me a card in which to look up the specials on line. Server comes back and begins to apologize for always apologizing. I am about ready to scream at this point. At this point I ask for a box to put the scallops and shrimp in to take home! There were 2 other parties sitting across from us. Both had different servers. One table had to get assistance because they had finished their meal but were still waiting for their appetizer. The other party needed to get assistance because they both received different salads in which they ordered. We go outside and my husband summed it up. That place is a mess! We will never go back.

Not typically a fan of the chain type places but the wife wanted crab legs. She got her wish and I ordered grilled«jumbo» shrimp. They were grilled but not jumbo and slightly undercooked. All in all a decent experience but a bit overpriced. Super crowded and parking just stinks here.

I’ve never been crazy about Red Lobster. I feel their food borders on inadequate and their prices are high. So what keeps dragging me back to this place anyway? For starters, the cheddar biscuits are heavenly. If I were stuck on a deserted island, I could live off the cheddar buscuits. Their salads are always good and fresh and they do offer some decent lunch specials that do not break the bank. This is a seafood restaurant though, but I cannot in good faith recommend them based upon their seafood. A majority of it is frozen and fried, which you can get at any Long John Silvers for a lot less money. That which is fresh, such as their catch of the day specials, crab legs, lobster, etc., is always decent, but priced in such a way that if I were looking for seafood at that price point, I wouldn’t be going to Red Lobster. The perfect visit to Red Lobster is to take advantage of a decently priced lunch special which includes salad, biscuits and entrée. On the other hand, if I am looking for seafood for dinner, I would put Red Lobster quite a ways down the list.

If you like crab legs, you will like them here. You could save at least $ 15-$ 20 by buying your own and steaming them at home though, too. The supermarkets and restaurants all get them frozen from the same place. The lobster… hmm. The kids like seeing them in the tank. A nice 1 ½ pounder won’t be cheap though. They also have lots of fried stuff that all tastes the same for people who really don’t like seafood. My wife doesn’t eat seafood and I *love* it so she has been nice enough to go along but usually won’t go because«there is only one non-seafood thing on the menu.» I went here once with my parents and kids(no wife) and the manager was all up in our business after the meal asking how everything was and begging me to rush home and take their on-line survey, so maybe they are turning things around since the last review of this place? Those cheesy-salty biscuits are AWESOME!
