«Throwback» all the way and that’s what makes it so special. The Mon Valley has seen so many changes over the past few decades that you almost wouldn’t believe a place like this could have survived. Seems like the only thing that’s changed since my high school days of the 70’s is that the scrubby trees around the place have gotten bigger. So, why go to let’s say… a Burger King, and get a smashed poor devil of a sandwich they call a Whopper. Looks nothing like the picture but usually tastes like a cardboard snapshot. Go here and you actually get a decent sandwich that earns the right to be called the«Monster». Seating inside is kind of tight but you can usually find a stool, maybe one of the few tables. Prices are right, food is greasy and fried like it should be, service is fine. If you want modern and squeaky clean go elsewhere. If you appreciate honest food and old school diner style then visit this place and post your review.

This place is amazing. If your into eating a good olé burger with traditional condiments and want it cheap. GOHERE! Boyfriend begs me to go here its soo good. Cool curb service too kinda like sonic but not as fancy. GET the monster burger! They have deals on them everyday I think from 11 – 2. I suggest trying johnnys

Johnny’s Drive In is an absolute favorite of mine, ever since I was a kid. It’s old school to the core and the food is top notch. I absolutely love the Ham BBQ with a chocolate milkshake. To me, it doesn’t get any better.
