Candy For All Occasions

I love this place, they have great ice cream, water ice, or (Italian Ice) had a conversation with the lady preparing my husband’s milkshake about it, that in some regions it’s called Water Ice and Italian Ice in Philly or vice versa, already forgot since I don’t like water ice anyway it was interesting though, the line over there for water ice was long when I got in, their milkshakes are good as well, but my personal favorites are in their candy section, the Chocolate Graham crackers, they are delicious, you get 2 for $ 2 but it’s home made chocolate. I also love their Chocolate covered marshmallows, not a pick for Vegans but still super yummy.
At times, when I got in I saw the girls making the candies in the back, I assume it’s family owned, it’s nice to see little shops like that, so give them your support.
This is a little jewel in my opinion on the way to the Amish Country. You should definitely stop by!

What a fun, local place Candy For All Occasions is. It’s a Summer staple for our family, and beyond that too. Italian water ice, Bassett’s Ice Cream, and soft serve will meet all your frozen treat needs. Prices are more appealing than the regular places and chains.
There is also plenty of nostalgia candy and other treats from the past to choose from.
And certainly, how can I not mention the chocolates? This might be the hidden gem of this store. Handmade on sight chocolate covered goodies. I’ve gotten mixed gift boxes that are always well received.
So skip the regular stop and give Candy For All Occasions a shot. Choosing won’t be easy.
