We did three wineries last weekend and this one was the smallest… End the best one. Truly family owned and operated. The tasting was very nice, we got to hear a little about each one and it was a great price. There were so many wines I loved, the question was which ones I was going to take home. I bought two bottles, and I didn’t buy bottles at any of the other ones.

Wine is sub par. Tasting is a waste of money. Pours are incredibly small, nothing to cleanse palate between pours, wines are over priced. Racist. Awful experience.

The staff was very friendly and we loved meeting Riley, the dog. Overall, the wines were easy going table wines — light and fruity if that’s your thing. There wasn’t much depth to them as the wines came across young and underdeveloped. For those that prefer a lighter, fruitier wine, you’ll like it(we prefer dry and heavy). The winery itself was rustic and charming, with tables and chairs for a picnic. It was interesting to do a tasting at standing only tables next to the steel wine vats. Only real complaint was that our dump bucket was pretty full from previous customers which was a bit unappealing.

Sampled about 10 wines and got to keep the glass for $ 8. The wine was nothing special but it was on the way home so we gave it a shot. Believe me the price is right and it’s always cool to sample new things but you can skip it in my mind. They had music on the lawn and a food truck. They also sell cheese and crackers while you are enjoying your wine. I prefer Va La Vineyards or Chaddsford Winery. If you do go enjoy the atmosphere and some wine! Cheers!

Slushiville! With a Jimmy Buffet style duet for music. Nice night out, musical duo was ok — male vocals much better than the female — very little in the Buffet line. Wines were good but a bit pricey for the area wineries and selection a bit more limited than others nearby. Hopefully with a little time, Kreutz will grow their line will expand so they can bring in a better band, maybe even Buffet himself!

Great hidden gem in the farmlands of south Chester County. This place is a family-run business who make you feel welcome the second to you walk through the door. They offered a great tasting experience: 10 – 12 different types of wine for $ 7 and got to keep the wine glass that we used for the tasting. The owner Jim was super nice, telling us all about how the winery started and the frequent outdoor concerts and movie nights they have there throughout the year. Overall, the wine was decent enough for local a vineyard, but the people and atmosphere made the experience.

I love the service and the wine was pretty good. I enjoyed strawberry wine and port wine. I am glad to stop by on the way to home in DC.

Dropped in here during the Harvest Festival on the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail tour, and it was definitely the best experience we had. It’s literally a basement converted into a winery. It’s kinda small, but you get over it. The tasting was pretty interactive as they match groups with a person who brings the bottles to you and discusses with you what you’re drinking. They could open a couple more bottles at once so you don’t have to wait for your next sample bottle to make it back to the chilling station… LOL I actually found I liked the Vidal Blanc, the Steuben, and the Ruby Port which comes with an awesome piece of dark chocolate.

Fun. These guys have good wines. tasting room is a converted basement in their home. Tasting is a good deal and they put out some good stuff. Reds are nice the whites are good. Nothing will blow your doors off. The folks are wonderful fun and they put on some great events. Take a cheese plate and have some fun

One of my favorites from this weekends trip to the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail. Tasting room is set up with tables and chairs instead of the typical bar type area. Spittoons and water pitchers were on the table. The wines were brought around by the staff who did an awesome job of discussing them. We tasted around 14 wines. My only draw back was that I kept waiting for that one wine that would blow me away. That never happened. The wines were all very good and I did purchase a few bottles, but there was no wine that left me dying to buy a case. I think that if they narrowed their focus and concentrated on fewer wines, they could achieve that blow me away status. Will return again.

Went here on a stop on the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail. The tasting was really fun and funny. First, we had a great wine tasting host. She provided a lot of detail about each wine with a great dose of humor as well. Second, there were about 13 wines to taste, and boy oh boy, they were coming in rapid fire. It was like a wine power(13 minute) hour. Lastly, their wines were the best I tasted all day on the trail. Especially their slightly-sweet strawberry wine. I wish it was still summer because it would be perfect for day drinking on a hot day. I highly recommend a tasting here. Apparently they also have a day when you can volunteer to help bottle and at the end of the day you can take a bottle home. Not sure when exactly it is, but I’m sure if you call the winery they could give you the deets.

This winery was the first stop on our most recent jaunt, and we had a lot of fun. The tasting room is down in the basement and just has a very laidback feel; the husband-and-wife owners were down there running the tastings and answering everyone’s questions. The tasting is a good deal. We tried all of their wines except the ice wine, 13 total, plus they let you keep the glass — and if you bring it back, your next tasting is free. As usual, I have to preface this with my reminder that I’m no wine snob. That said, I found most of the wines really enjoyable. My favorites were the holiday wassail, the Steuben, and the port. The friends who came along with us were surprised to discover that they liked a few varieties of wine(chardonnay, port) that they normally don’t. Oh, and they serve EXCELLENT dark chocolates with the port. Bonus!
