Northeastern Chimney Sweeps

I have had Northeastern Chimney clean my chimney several times and they have re-​built two chimneys for me as well. They are always professional and knowledgeable and I have always been satisfied with their service.
Steve was my technician for my most recent cleaning and he was very helpful and informative. Despite all of the soot that was brushed out of the chimney, the work area in the living room and path through my dining room and kitchen were spotless.
I would highly recommend Northeastern Chimney for any chimney or fireplace related services.

We had 2 fireplaces and chimneys cleaned, and the work was well done and on schedule. The work area was left clean. In addition, the technician examined 2 other chimney flues and identified a serious issue with our furnace flue that requires further attention. Very professional service.

Northeastern Chimney installed and continues to provide regular cleaning for my two stacks. Steve and Nick were out today to clean and prepare my chimneys for the New England winter. The office called to ask if I could move my scheduled time slot. Hooray! Great proactive customer service. Steve and Nick were early! Hooray, again! After having utilized the chimney services of a wonderful «independent guy» for several years, I was skeptical of switching to a larger company (our special indy retired — we miss you Leon).
Prior to our initial chimney cleaning/​inspection, we received a courtesy call as a reminder… both the business day before AND 20 minutes prior — yet the calls were quick and concise. This was a plus for me. Then our «new guy» arrived to do his stuff. I have to admit, after having worked in customer service and sales for several years, I expected a big song and dance with an over-​the-​top sales pitch for work that probably wouldn’t be necessary. Yet, I was impressed with this «new guy», Steve. He laid the facts out, including showing us what needed to be repaired and WHY, then presented very helpful options. He wasn’t pushy. Even with a crazy dog and crying baby at the forefront, Steve was very respectful and seemed understanding of my beloved distractions. He took the time to explain when I requested additional information, and he did so in a very respectful manner.
Most impressive, for me, was his lack of condescending behavior toward a woman. Even in my husband’s presence, he looked AT ME when he was answering my questions. He did not direct the conversation toward my husband, but rather treated us as equal «customers». We are happy with our chimney inspection/​cleaning and will re-​post/​edit the outcome upon completion of the repair work that will be conducted in the near future. So far, Steve gets and A+ and we are happy with «our new chimney peeps».

This company called me and lied that my husband told them to call me when they would be in the area. They are violating the Do Not Call List by soliciting people who are not their customers. When I told my husband what they said about his telling them to call me he verified he never spoke with them; so they must be scammers.

This company is very courteous and they did not try to sell me something that I didn’t need. They just cleaned my chimney and stove and got it done quick too.
