This is a West Haven classic — great pizza — great ratio of cheese to sauce. Love their pizza rolls — pepperoni are great. The eggplant is super crispy and one of my favorites. Get the pizza double cut — it makes the huge slices easier to handle.

This place makes a pie that won’t let you down. Not the neatest pizza in the world, but it has been my go to for years and I have always been satisfied. Stick to the basics, like a nice large sausage!

They were a decent pizza when I used to go there. Over the years they kept adding items to the menu. What happened to the pizza and pizza rolls only? Menu seems way too big.

I live in the area and love this place. I get their food once a week. Their pizza isn’t the best in West Haven but it is definitely good. I like their taco pizza in particular, which isn’t what you’d imagine when you read the name. It’s hamburger with cherry peppers and onions which was a pleasant surprise. They sell pizza by the slice. In particular I love their grinders. They have a wide selection and great specials, try their tuna bomb as a first time visitor. They have a great deal on cold cut grinders at only $ 5.50 for a foot long with chips and a canned beverage. They conveniently take credit for a purchase of any amount. They do not deliver and have a small outdoor seating area. The staff is always friendly. Hours are reasonable but are not a late night establishment, closing at 10pm on most nights. Location is great right across from the beach.

Tom and pats has been around forever. We have been going there for ages. The food is pretty awesome along with the pepperoni rolls. Get an order you won’t be mad. They do not deliver but it is worth the trip down to get some food for the family

My first time trying their pizza, and it would have been good if it wasnt so burned on the bottom. Just moved to the area and was expecting better from them, since friends have told me they were good. The chicken soup was the weirdest texture, as if they blended the fatty skins and put it in their soup. Pasta fagioli soup was bland but ok once I seasoned it up a bit… Just my two cents. Hope they improve so I can order from them again.

I think this pizza is pretty good I think the grinders arrested very good to just make sure you tell them to toast it. They have pretty good specials Monday through Wednesday for a large cheese pizza.

Fantastic take out. Been coming here for years. The pizza is fantastic as is anything I have ever ordered. Especially the boneless wings calzones and chick parm subs. They’re subs are just as good as the pizza. Which means great. Pizza rolls aren’t like the mystery meat toaster strudel that you normally think of when you hear the term pizza roll. The pizza is delicious crispy thin crust and the tomato sauce is tangy. A meatball pizza from here is like crack.

The pizza isn’t worth writing home about but the pepperoni rolls are another story!!!

I’ve been a customer ever since I bought a house in the neighborhood. The pizza is reliable good NY style pizza(not NH style Apizza, which I head to Modern for). I generally get a pepperoni pie well [done] when I order pizza. By far my favorite non pizza items are the rolls, which may only be ordered when there is company to blame them on(I get mozz w/sauce, and they’ve got that awesome crunchy where it hit the pan cheesy thing going on). And their veal and rabe sub(which I get with a little mozz on it). The very worst I’ve been treated is as a normal customer, but usually there’s a smile, thank you, and some small talk. BTW While not«cheap» I’ve never felt ripped off, and they do have some stupidly cheap family dinners, etc.

Tomato sauce is too acidic and makes almost everyone sick who eats it. They keep increasing their prices and are pretty unfriendly.

Having that old reliable neighborhood pizzeria that you can call at a moment’s notice to pick up a delicious pizza really is a great thing. And if you live anywhere near Tom & Pat’s, and you haven’t had them yet, this is the place to order your next pie from. Being a native southerner, I’ve subjected myself to some pretty God-awful pizza, so perhaps I’m especially thankful to have such a treat. The pizzas I’ve had from here are really solid, good pizzas. Not oily, not burnt… perfect every time I’ve had them. And the prices are really reasonable. So if you’re in the area, give these guys a call. And I do say this closing line with a bit of hesitation, as someone who occasionally likes grabbing a meal in a chain restaurant… But if you live in West Haven, and you order a pie from Dominos, I will come and find you and hit you on the head with a ball peen hammer.

I’ll definitely check out Tom and Pat’s for pizza next time. I ordered an eggplant parm sub, and man, was it good! The bread was great, they cheese was melted throughout, and the eggplant was sliced thin with very flavorful breading. They have a very extensive menu and are really reasonably priced.
