Unfortunately no choice in the matter. This is the ‘specialist’ insurance says I have to see.
The ‘attitude’ of most of the staff is rude and the voice automated system that treats patients as stupid by using names instead of occupations to go by to try to reach someone is ineffective. Doctor munches with his mouth open while talking to patients and expect a long wait even with appointment.

This man not only is a top Pulmonologist, he is an incredible human being. His care and concern for his patients are beyond anything you might expect today. He saved my life by insisting my Cardiologist take a second look at a CT scan. I had a severely blocked artery that could have killed me without immediate attention. Later I had an un-related operation and he called the surgical suite to ensure the Anetheshtiologist (sp) was aware of my poor lung function. The reason some have to wait is he takes whatever time necessary to ensure the greatest possible outcomes for every patient he sees. Clocks be damned, I would rather wait than get rushed.

Told me, after an hour and a half wait only because of bad scheduling, if you can’t wait maybe I’m not the doctor for you. At least he was right about that. The whole off and staff reek of that same attitude.
