Intercept Pest Management

Bernie has been our family’s go to guy when it comes to pest control for past 20 years, particularly with those pesty ants, crickets, and spiders. He is reliable, responsible, and knowledgeable. More importantly, we trust him and customer service has been great.

Intercept was recommended to me by a highly reputable animal removal service as someone who dealt with rats in walls and crawlspaces. Bernie responded quickly to all of my phone messages, and was always pleasant and professional. But more importantly, he took care of my formidable Hollywood Hills rat situation. What seemed like one critter gnawing in the walls turned out to be EIGHT, caught over the course of two months. Admittedly, I let the problem go on for way too long but I thought that I had one furry visitor now and again, not an infestation!!!
After meeting Bernie for the initial consult, I felt comfortable having him on the property even when I couldn’t be around. All communications were with Bernie, and it was Bernie who was on the site to do the work. This was so great!
I am VERY against rodent poisons and their effect on the food chain, and Bernie was understanding about this. He studied my property, and suggested traps. He then deftly and neatly screened off access points. He also explained trap placement + rat psychology to me, so that I could continue managing my pest problem with or without his continued help.
I thought that I would give trap re-​setting and rat removal a go on my own. Even so, Bernie checked in a few weeks later to see if everything was going okay and to get the «body count».
The problem seems to be solved now, and I’m staying on top of preventing new infestations thanks to the Rat Behavior 101 info from Intercept. Since rats are extremely adaptable and can cause all sorts of expensive home/​health problems, I was extremely happy about the money spent on the competent, swift resolution of my problem. all of a sudden, we had a rat problem. I called several different highly rated companies and I had to wait at least a week for someone to come out –which doesn’t work for me since I have a toddler.
