The people at the door are misogynistic pigs. Heard them tell multiple «normal» sized girls that they were «too fat» to get in. Hearing them be so rude to other women immediately had me leave. Do NOT come here!

Honestly you are better off just going to Vegas for the night than coming here. I used to do it when I was younger. Get to work at 5am, out at 1:30pm, be in Vegas by 6:30pm, party till 1 and hit the road back to work at 5am.
You have to open your eyes and remember this his LA, Hollywood, the fakest town in America, where even money can’t buy some things. I’ve been on both sides of the fence with them, both with no juice and my own fault I couldn’t get in as well as treated like a VIP watching others get snubbed.
I was 20 years old and didn’t get into some club in Vegas because of my shoes and since then I’ve always been overdressed. I still see guys in jeans on Thursdays and guys in double pleated slacks on Saturdays get in for a variety of reasons. The women here are young and hot and that’s what usually attracts guys, but they turn away so many people it’s disheartening to others trying to get in. Anything could trigger them to not let you in and it’s not always looks. On the surface it seems racist, but in knowing people in that industry it’s not.
It’s a large, open, expansive space where they really push the bottles. Even with a promotional hook up they are up charging significantly, so there very little value in a booth/​bottle. Drinks are expensive and it’s not that they are watered down it’s that they use bad ice, which would melt in 5 minutes anyhow. You are better off with a beer, shots are expensive too. Bathrooms are nice and it’s not so dark you can’t walk around or see where you are going. There is always this faint smell of a place that needs to be disinfected. Like it’s some massive axe body spray coverup.
Hip Hop is heavy on Thursdays, but more EDM on Saturdays, moving towards some trap, but the bangers they drop are some industry middle of the road stuff, nothing grimey. If you want real music and chill vibes check out Red Cup Sundays. No one comes here for the music though. It’s to see or be seen, or just say you went.
Here is where the stars come off. My booth was given away to some B squad celebrity, 2 friends of mine could not get in because the booth size was overstated on another occasion nearly doubling the quote from our promoter. A separate occasion the doorman tried asking me for $ 50 or he’ll make sure I don’t get in. They tried charging a bottle of our neighboring booth to us because they thought we knew each other, but were just friendly. They posted a security guard at the door for like 10 minutes one night not allowing anyone into the bathroom because someone celebrity was doing drugs and having sex and didn’t want any witness’. People regularly smoke inside and I’m a smoker, but was told I had to go outside without re-​entry. It’s these types of things that make the people who actually get in, not have fun, which just brings the whole place down. There is not enough drinks in the world that will get me back in this place.

Worst customer service ever. I literally witnessed girls being rejected multiple times. because they «Didn’t have the look»! Most girls that were rejected were slightly overweight and not white. Club is filled with twiggy blondes, literally. Anorexic blonde airheads are the ones that get in. How sad, an allegedly high end club discriminating against women because of their physical appearance. Let’s not forget the underage, yes underage Insta famous girls who get in easily and usually get shit faced drunk, I’m surprised this club didn’t get its license suspended …

This place is horrible when it comes to customer service. I really wish people who are of color or black would banned this spot and stop patronizing them. I read a review also and the girl experience the same thing I did. They are the worst. They don’t let you in if your curvy and thick. That’s discrimination, and they really shouldn’t get away with it. I can’t understand why we would pay to go into a club and get rejected at the door. I’m in Vegas and I’m trying to go out but after reading the girls review From Vegas I won’t be going in. They need better customer service and a change in management.

Went out with some girlfriends & wanted to go somewhere fun. We contemplated going inside but the crowd outside was so young. I’m talking girls and guys who look 21 TOPS and with braces (I’m not exaggerating). We’re in our early 30s and it wasn’t the scene for us.

MOST RACIST CLUB EVER… It’s sad you have to be blonde or a douche bag to get in. Don’t waste your money or time!!! They will literally tell you a million times to wait and will NOT let you in.

Bring back the Key Club. This place sucks. They try to target very high end people but fall short. Not paying $ 2000 for $ 30 bottles of alcohol… lol

I’ve never even been to this place but it must be a joke. All I see on Instagram are little 18 – 19 year old girls fresh out of high school posting photos at 1 oak and going all the time. Pretty insane that you apparently don’t let many people in based on looks, yet are letting in and serving minors alcohol in your establishment. Pull your shit together before they pull your liquor license. You won’t catch me here.

I’ve been to the 1oak in Las Vegas and it’s nothing compared to this one! I mean it is Hollywood -.- all they care about is money and good looks!
The promoters here are a joke, they think they are so cool. Your not so good looking yourself promoters and They also won’t text you back when you come to this club.
Seeing all these other reviews. Yup I experienced the same thing with my friends here. They wont let you in unless you are blonde. I hope they shut this place down or at least get a new management.

Actually surprised to say I really enjoyed my time here! After all the difficult bouncers I encountered while in NYC, the ones here were very nice! :) Venue is new and reminded me of a smaller version of Marquee NYC (chandelier!). Two floors with a dance floor on the first. There’s tables surrounding the dance floor and on the stage too by the DJ. My friend was a DJ that night so we got to see the crowd from the stage but it was just alright. Later on in the night though, it can get pretty cramped, sweaty, and crowded. Our table was one of those on the side and you can get hit by one of the crazy people grinding away quite easily. Nonetheless, I had a good time and didn’t have a bad experience ^_^

If possible, I’d give this place negative stars. You’re honestly better off spending time at a DMV or watching paint dry… or maybe watching the Oxygen channel at home alone.
The employees are boorish and the location is garish. The less said about the music the better.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

Oh dear!!! What a joke. Just another Hollywood club that’s trying to be hot but so tacky and ghetto. The Napoleon complexed «promoters» milling around outside are basically auctioneers that will only take the highest bidders.
I don’t agree with several of the reviews about only letting «beautiful» people in the club. When we got in, the crowd reminded me of the bar scene from total recall. Lots of good from far and in pitch dark, but very very far from good. What was even worse than the whole wanna be «Hollywood» scene was this so-​called called music. It was pretty sad. No wonder the minions at the door want you to buy bottles and bottles of $$$$$$$$$$ alcohol. The more s**tfaced you get, the less painful it becomes.
I’ve hosted several parties at nightclubs, will pass on this tragedy.

This is pretty much hell on earth. I’d rather hang out at the DMV.

As a guy who’s been a club goer for over 12 years, I know which places are worth splurging on and which places are not. This place was not worth the price tag they placed.
My buddies and I were out on the Sunset strip having a going-​away celebration. This was the first place we though of, so here we came. The guy at the door was demanding we get bottle service, although the club was dead that night. There was nothing all that great to see, so we were reluctant to get bottle service. They quoted us a price that did not match the crowd nor possibilities, so we declined in favor of Skybar.
The guy at the door was being hardheaded. Bad attitude, and a legend in his own mind. I’m a Los Angeleno, and I know who is playing up a front. He clearly was, and got agitated when we walked away from him.
I might come back when the club is actually kicking, and there are great sights to see. Otherwise, they can keep their attitude to themselves. This is Sunset, not Vegas.

I asked this bitch at the door if i can ask her a question. I wanted to know how to get a table at the place, this rude ass birch simply said no. What a rude fuck. This was my second time trying to get in without luck, they literally told me i have to be blonde to get in. Dude i’m a size 0! Do i have to look dumb and have no ass or boobs to get in?!
I have literally seen ugly ugly skinny blondes get in. They were fucking ugly! I guess just because they’re blondes. What a mind fuck, i seriously model for a big ass magazine but have absolutely no connections
