Alfred Weinstock, DDS

I have been seeing Dr. Weinstock for a little more than 20 years. Not only is Dr. Weinstock an outstanding oral surgeon and periodontist, but he is also extremely patient and kind. I ask a lot of questions and Dr. Weinstock answers every single one without hesitation. Dr. Weinstock is incredibly thorough and explains everything prior to procedures taking place, again answering all questions. His expertise lie with dental implants and periodontal surgery. Dr. Weinstock is light handed and I experienced no pain during any of my procedures. Truly textbook perfection.
The staff at Dr. Weinstock’s office are extremely sweet and friendly, and the hygienists are thorough and professional at all times. The office is very modern and equipped with the latest equipment.
My last note is that Dr. Weinstock genuinely cares about his patients — he always calls to check up after any procedure to make sure that I am doing OK. (Many doctors will not take the time to do so!) If I could give him 10 stars I would! Anyone needing any sort of oral surgery or periodontal work should go to Dr. Weinstock.

I went to Dr. Weinstock to have a gum graft done because I had it done at another oral surgeon, and the graft didn’t take. Most people don’t have the opportunity to compare and contrast offices when it comes to gum surgery, but I’m one of the lucky few who got to have the procedure twice.
I was so pleasantly surprised by the difference between Dr. Weinstock and the other surgeon. With the first dentist, I was in extreme pain during the procedure, I bled like crazy afterwards, and after all that, the graft didn’t take.
With Dr. Weinstock, it was completely different. He started by explaining the procedure and fitting me for a stint that would help the roof of my mouth heal. Then, when the procedure came, it was not the horrible experience I had the first time. While I won’t say it was fun, he was gentle, and there wasn’t near the level of pain. After the procedure, the stint was so helpful. I was able to have food soon afterwards, and my gums healed in less than half the time of the first procedure. And there was very little bleeding afterwards.
The staff is very professional and friendly. I recommend Dr. Weinstock and team highly.

When I moved to Los Angeles from Manhattan I asked my dentist for the best Periodontist in L.A. and he recommended Dr. Weinstock. After having been a patient for oevr ten years, I have not been disappointed. Everyone in the office is friendly, professional, and results have been excellent. Dr. Weinstock does an excellent job of hiring skilled and pleasant hygienists and great staff overall.
