Citrus On Sunset

Came here on a Friday during lent so I couldn’t get any of the meat dishes. I ordered the caprese sandwich. I really am not a fan of vegetarian sandwiches but this one was very good! It’s a really huge sandwich, you could easily split into 2 lunches.
It’s got a nice little courtyard as well, perfect if you’re just trying to get away for a bit for lunch.

On my third and fourth return, I had the healthy wrap with kale on the side and the roasted chicken salad wrap with fries on the side. The healthy wrap had beans which next time I will order without. The roasted chicken tasted like tuna salad. Both of these were delicious and healthy. I recommend the roasted chicken wrap if you like chicken and cranberries. Also amongst my co-​workers, they all seem to favor the chicken wrap. If you check-​in on Unilocal,you get one free cookie.
I usually come here when I forget to pack my lunch.
The service is good and the staff were friendly. There is seating inside and outdoors.

Had work in the building last week. During my break went to Citrus to get a bagel and cream cheese. Super simple… There were about 8 employees I could see, standing around.
After 10 minutes of waiting, I finally left with my bag.
Pretty horrified and angry to find a completely burnt bagel! which went straight into the TRASH.

Stumbled upon this place while at work today. Ordered conveniently online. My 12 orders were ready within minutes! Parking was very convenient and the customer experience was beyond. Staff greeted me upon entering and the owner was sooo friendly. Definitely a diamond in the rough. I’ll definitely recommend this place and will visit again soon.

Solid lunch spot for the price and the staff is great.

Omg ! The home made jambalaya is One of the best meals ever!!! Amazing!!! The owner is super sweet and a nice environment!!! A 10! :)

Decent prices when you forget your lunch they do deliver if you don’t want to take a walk but it was a really nice day outside.

I came here a couple weeks back for a meeting with the owner. She is super passionate about her restaurant and it shows in her cuisine! I stopped back by for a quick lunch last week and tried their tortilla soup it was out of this world! Super fresh and full of flavor! I can not wait to try her salads and sandwiches I highly enjoyed Citrus on Sunset!

My daily go-​to lunch place, as it’s on the ground floor of my office building. Good salads, soups and desserts. My favs are the apple salad with chicken, the citrus cobb salad and tomato basil soup. The brownies as others have mentioned are ahhhhmazing (and huge!), as is the carrot cake– yummm!
As I mentioned, I come here daily, so I can tell you that this place is consistently inconsistent. Some days it’s great, some days it’s ok and on rare occasions, not good. For example, my salad the other day had no flavor… the dressing was oil and nothing else, or so it seemed. Another day, corn was in a salad that isn’t supposed to have it and I had to pick it out because it didn’t belong and tasted weird. Today, my salad was missing the red onion… you get the picture. And the chicken breast ranges from good, to acceptable, to rubbery.
Love the staff… Always very friendly and they call you by name. Oh and they deliver, which is another plus!

a surprisingly delicious personal-​sized pizza. gets kind of crazy at lunch time due to the office building it’s in — I recommend ordering online ahead of time. I hit this spot at least once a week to get my ‘za fix. keeps well too, I’d make a couple meals out of it!

This place is right across from my work. Consistently solid, I’ve tried many different meals here.
Chicken pesto sandwhich and pesto chicken pizza are SO GOOD.
Plenty of seating, generous portions. Great place.

My wife were a bit hungry and in the area. Being from Northern California, we weren’t sure what this place could offer. She had the Citrus Cobb while I had the Tuesday Chicken Special. Both are meals were surprisingly delicious. We finished our plates and knew that if we would be back in the area, this will have to be a great stop.

I have gone to this café three times in the past two weeks because their food is so good! The prices are very reasonable, the staff is attentive and always have a smile on their face, and the food is cooked fresh daily. Their menu is very diverse, and boasts new options every day. Today I had the curry chicken with rice and last week I had the gumbo. I really have not had anything there that I haven’t liked yet. Definitely a place you should try.

Citrus on Sunset is our favorite place to order lunch from at work. Every item I’ve ordered has been delicious and FRESH. Their homemade salad dressings and sides are absolutely wonderful as well. Don’t even get me started on the desserts. TOO GOOD TO EVER SAY NO! (They even arrive warm sometimes, they’re so fresh!)
Favorite items: Mediterranean Salad, Hawaiian Salad, pesto chicken wrap sandwich, Tuna salad sandwich, Veggie Breakfast Burrito, quinoa side, macaroni side, the daily soups, THE BROWNIES!, apricot crumble, coconut cake and cookies. Sure, that’s Everything I’ve ever ordered from Citrus on Sunset but I have never been disappointed. This place blows everywhere else we’ve ordered from out of the water. I’m a big, big fan!

We came at the perfect time! It wasn’t crowded at all and everything was delicious! We did the check in and got free cookies, too!

Mediocre at best, slow service, mediocre food, nothing to rave about. If you can eat somewhere else, do so :-)

I basically received delivery from Citrus on Sunset for lunch every day at work for the past 3 weeks. It’s affordable, within close proximity to the office, and delivery is fast.
Some of my favorite items on the menu– Spinach and gorgonzola salad (+chicken); Hawaiian chicken salad (mm the savory bbq pairs so well with the fresh mango and papaya); and the turkey and provolone sandwich.
I’m not the largest fan of their chicken piccata as it was so greasy/​buttery that I could feel the grease seeping out of my pores as the day went on. For some reason, any of the salads with the mixed greens were always wilted/​slimy so I made sure to order with spinach.

It’s interesting to see that someone had a bad experience with the quality of their pizza because their pizzas are some of the best in the area. My office places large orders of pizza from them because they are simply the best and freshest. And FYI they don’t sell steaks :)
Hopefully this person will give it another try, sounds like they reviewed the wrong place. Knowing the owner she will gladly replace your order or refund your money because her top priority is to keep her customers happy :)

Ordered $ 40 of delivery from this place yesterday based on its outstanding reviews. Needless to say, these reviews cannot be based on the quality of food. The pizza was awful (similar to pizza hut or dominos), both subs were poor quality, the steak was impossible to eat because it was so dry, and the list goes on.
I prefer my food cold, and order delivery for most meals. Citrus will not be delivering to my door again.
