worst.turkey.burger. EVER!!! It literally had no taste, whatsoever, which is irritating bcuz I’ve had amazing turkey burgers elsewhere. Just wayyyyyy too bland. Also, sweet potato fries were horrible as well. Soggy(the fries actually were completely limp, n would fold like noodles), n little to no salt on them. I was highly disappointed in the whole dish. Waste of my money n a meal.

This place clearly was so bad, they have now closed their doors forever! Thank goodness no one else needs to be terrified by the weird purple gooo on the peppercorn steaks or the dirty smell of the old grease in the fryers. So long drunk night fests at DUKESHOLLYWOOD.

Closed! :(Had some of the best late night memories and one of my favorite hangout spots while getting over a hangover. Met many great people here and always ran into friends. RIP!

Meh, at best. Not fresh, not consistent. One day it will be good, the next day your chicken wrap will taste like it has been sprayed with acid. Also I watched a cook drop a head of lettuce on the ground and then pick it up and cut it anyway. Also they are always out of everything. If for some reason you are forced to go there, get the tuna melt with sweet potatoes fries. Or the vegan breakfast burrito, but just FYI it is not cooked vegan. They do cook with animal fat, I just happen to like soy based products. I give two stars because wait staff are nice.

HIREMOREPEOPLE! This is another example of a business that refuses to spend good money for good help. Three of us went in there to a half full restaurant. The non occupied tables were full of dirty dishes. There was only one server taking phone calls, taking orders, running food, doing takeout, putting in orders… the list goes on. Then, there was only one cook. I can only assume that cook would need some help on a Friday night! Then, I see a clean cut white guy watching everything. I didn’t see him do a darn thing for the 10 minutes we observed this. After that, we had to leave. Duke’s announced that they have new management. Their managers need to start busing tables and doing dishes or maybe answer some phones and cook some burgers. But, I’m sure that would get their hands dirty or would require them to hire a new employee which would obviously take money out of their hands. I bet the cook knows how to manage a restaurant better than the manager! I put money on that! No thanks Duke’s!

Went to Dukes on a rainy day. Was looking for some warm comfort food. Shared a starter of Mac n Cheese with bacon & jalapeños. YUM. I had the Chicken Parm w/Spaghetti for dinner. DELICIOUS. Washed it all down with a $ 3 Blue Moon.. . ain’t nothing wrong with a $ 3 beer. I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the food was. Was expecting some rubbery diner food and ended up with a belly full of goodness. Just what I was looking for that night. The place was clean, spacey and the pics on the wall were fun to look at while waiting for the food. Service was friendly and quick. Prices were decent too. Under $ 30 for two. I’ll be back I’m sure.

Holy guacamole! I was here the other night after a show at the whiskey. We were in desperate need of some grub and dukes satisfied as usual! My friends and I usually come for the dynamite happy hour(3 buck drafts and super cheap apps too) and were sooooo glad they were open late night to crave our drunken cravings! Everyone left happy, full and even more drunk than we came in! Love this place!!!

I got a Dukes menu at my door, and thought the menu looked pretty good. After waking up hungover this morning and bereft of groceries, I decided to order in. I ordered the BYO Omelet with onions, tomatoes, and cheese, and a hot chocolate from the website. First bad sign: no confirmation. I waited 20 minutes and neither received an email or a phone call from Dukes confirming my order. Finally, I called, and was told that, yes, my order would soon be on its way. The one high point of this experience, and the reason I gave it two stars instead of one, was that the delivery service was very prompt. I ordered at 11:30 and the food came at noon. The other good thing was that the food that arrived was the food I ordered. Kind of. I opened the omelet box to find a greasy-looking slab of egg with a square piece of processed«cheddar» cheese wrapped around it. Still, to give the benefit of the doubt to the establishment, I took a few bites. I got about halfway through this bland, greasy, and, frankly, pretty terrible excuse for an omelet before deciding that I couldn’t eat it anymore. The hash browns that came with it were also bland, but more edible than the omelet. Even worse, though, was the hot chocolate. I look off the lid and inhaled the aroma, hoping to be met by chocolatey goodness. Instead, I was greeted by an almost chemical-like smell. I decided to take a sip anyway, and it tasted horrible. I dumped it down the sink immediately. I don’t know what they put in there, but all I could think was that I hoped I hadn’t just been poisoned. The odor is still pungent in my kitchen from where it was dumped into the sink. Overall, I wish I had read Unilocal before ordering. I can guarantee that I will NEVER order from Dukes again.

O.K., so I have read many of the reviews… yet my wife & I decided to check the ‘under new management’ «Duke’s» out anyway!(with an open mind) First, let me say that I used to go to the original«Dukes» back in the day!!! When you expected to wait at least an hour before a seat/table would come available!!! Well, according to most of the reviews and we witnessed it ourselves… waitin’ in line is no longer a issue. When the new owners bought the name & the diner… they apparently didn’t buy the recipes!?! We went this past Friday at noon & we shared the entire diner with one other table of four… Like most of the reviews we too, were ignored when we walked in…& had to ask do we seat ourselves. After receiving no answer, we did make our way to a table of our choosing! A few minutes later we had to grab our own menus from the cashier area! Our waitress was actually very pleasant but, she had very little idea what was on the menu… My wife asked how many pieces of turkey bacon came on her dish, she was told three & her plate arrived with two & the waitress also told me my Chicken Fried Steak breakfast(which was delicious!!!) came with three eggs when the menu clearly stated two eggs! I politely made her aware. I ordered my eggs over easy & my bride requested hers scrambled hard… when our food arrived her eggs were scrambled very wet & my eggs were over hard??? There is a few things the staff & cooks could do to get some folks into the famous diner… but, I must say! If you never tried the«original Duke’s»…you can still enjoy! I give 4 stars… because our server, though a little dingy, was still trying very hard and was actually a sweet person!!! Please don’t destroy the legacy of «DUKE’S»!!! I’ll be back… could you make a sign that either invites me to sit or wait to be seated?(just a thought!)

This is a review of delivery from Dukes West Hollywood. Still on business in Los Angeles. I was in my hotel room answering emails. I was hungry. So, I turned to my old pal . It was easy to order via . Delivery — The order was placed at 7:45PM. Estimated delivery time was 8:49PM. The actual delivery time was 9:11PM. The delivery charge was $ 3:30. That’s right. I paid $ 3:50 for a delivery time of almost 90 minutes. The delivery person was professional and polite. Note — They did not have the chocolate cake I ordered. But Grubhub let me know and, along with removing the charge for this, they provided me with a $ 5 gift certificate. The Philly Cheese-steak was cold. The meat was tough and flavorless. The fries were cold and overcooked. The chocolate milkshake was warm and already had that airy mass that shakes get when they are beyond there best. The food was relatively neatly packed. The prices were ok. Well, except for the cheeseteak sandwich itself. it simply was not a $ 10+ sandwich. So, then again, maybe their prices are not ok. 1 Chocolate Malt $ 4.75 1 Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich $ 10.95 1 Chocolate Cake $ 5.00(not delivered — not charged for) 2 Sprite $ 4.50 Subtotal $ 25.20 Tax $ 2.21 Delivery Fee $ 3.50 Total $ 30.91 Overall, the quality of the food was poor. The delivery was both long and tardy. The sandwich was overpriced. If there in restaurant experience is much better, they might want to consider discontinuing their delivery service. It certainly is not one that would have me considering visiting their restaurant.

Yup. It’s definitely a three-star place. My bff and I wanted to check out something new today for breakfast, and somehow the idea of a breakfast burrito came up. Okay, okay, it was probably me. The server was nice but not particularly attentive. The restaurant was average. The food was average. The prices. You guessed it; average. Never before has ‘three stars’ really summarized a place better.

Very nice causal burger joint… there were only one waitress when we went there and we were the only customers.=/ The service was great considering we were the only customers at that time lol The prices and portions are fair.
The food on the menu was super simple and ordinary — burgers, fries, salads and a few different entrees for dinner. I had the Spicy Blue Cheese Burger… which was pretty good =]

I was going to give this place a 3.5 stars after being influenced by Sarah A’s review, but no… I’m not giving into peer pressure. My first trip to Duke’s for a lunch date this month and I liked the relaxed, greasy spoon vibe of the place. It seemed popular with some big groups of regulars and a huge menu selection(they have a Monte Cristo sandwich here Mark B!) After overcoming the«blinded by choice» state I ordered the French Dip sandwich, but switched the beef for turkey with fries. My friend got«I forget» with salad and we split it for a totally pleasant, relaxed lunch on a sunny winter’s day in LA.

I just experienced Duke’s for the first time with a couple of friends. Rebecca, our server, was FANTASTIC. She was on point, and hilarious to boot. We had overheard the delivery guy giving her a hard time(for an issue that was entirely his fault and not hers) and we pulled her aside to get the scoop. She was great. Her service was prompt and she was basically single-handedly running the place. The food was actually decent and they had a better wine list than I had expected. Oh, and GREAT music playing, by the way. Gotta love a rock n’ roll diner. Thanks Rebecca!
