I had my lipo consultation with Doctor Stone on 01÷13÷16 and it went well. He was very thorough on all my questions and Ruthann was very nice, as well as the nurse. There is no doubt they will make you feel very comfortable and are really nice people.

I had a great experience here with Dr Stone and his staff Rutth Ann and Narda. Rutth has been very nice in keeping up with my appointments. She tried getting me in fast to get my procedure. And she always answered all my questions. Narda is such a sweet heart. I love this nurse. She is so attentive to your needs.

Dr. Stone was very helpful with all my questions and concerns. I wasn’t the right candidate for the procedures he performs but he did recommend other great doctors. Now, my problem is the people in the front. If I come in early, give me my paperwork early. i don’t want to hear a whole story about your coffee cup your father always uses and never leaves for you for your «special juice!» It’s shows where your attention is and it was not on me. After me sitting there watching NOVELES for 15 minutes they receptionist is like, «Your new?» Ummm… shouldn’t you know that…
I took my sweet time with the paperwork because they took their sweet time to give it to me. Finally I went in with another coordinator who was very helpful. However, she was talking about compression suits and wasn’t really sure what I was in there for. It was ok because she was sweet. As a former medical receptionist, I just would of thought the receptionist would of been more attentive.
I did not get any services done.

WARNING WARNING WARNING: go here and get botched. I had such high hopes for my experiences and results at FRIVA. before I fully healed I wrote a review raving about the doctor. However after 6 months I was able to see my full results and I was horrified. My body looked better before the surgery. Everything is about money with this doctor. And the «treatments» they offer after the surgery and at your post op supposedly for the purposes of helping your skins elasticity is nonsense. Doesn’t work and could have saved the $ 100 dollars. Very disappointed and went to Mexico to get the surgery corrected. The irony.

It’s been two weeks since my procedure (liposuction on my lower and upper abdominal, flanks and upper back). I look and feel amazing. The swelling has went down a bit. I’m so happy I had my procedure done. Thanks again Dr. Stone!

I purchased a Groupon package for microneedling. It was for two treatments and i loved the results so much that i got 4 more treatments after my first two. My acne scars were noticeably less deep. Dr. Perrin explained the procedure and the results clearly and definitely delivered. The scars aren’t completely gone like she had said, but I am very happy about my results. She said i can take a break for now and then get more treatments after the summer. I also cannot wait to try their IPL treatments.

Trying something new from Dr stone on groupon excellent prices so far… had my first procedure July 9,2015 going thur the motions is not a smooth walk in the park but what I can say is so far I’m liking what I see to be continued

Dr. Stone is amazing! Boy did I hit the lotto when I found him. Seriously!
He and his staff are highly skilled and trained. He took his time with me and did a GREAT job. I could not believe how well my procedure went. I am a woman of African American decent so finding a surgeon who can work with my skin type was very important to me. I was afraid of developing keloids or heavy scarring, but neither happened.
You will not regret choosing Friva Medical. It has been 2 months and I look and feel wonderful! If you are looking for an excellent doctor, I recommended Dr. Stone!

Ok so this is going to be a pretty long review just because I had a pretty long journey. Let me say that I live in Las Vegas so it already adds complication trying to do everything from another state. Ruthanne is a saint sent from God himself! She is so patient, so quick with things, and answers every single question I had. If she ever leaves whoever tries to fill her shoes will have a extremely hard time! I was able to do the consult over Skype which is amazing! The doctor is very straight forward but friendly. I set up my procedure and they helped me figure out all the details of how to get to them. When I arrived in LA I had my consult pretty late in the evening (because I was late) which was great! They accommodated my tardiness and its appreciated. My procedure day I was extremely nervous to say the least. The doctor was very calming and explained exactly what was going to happen so I felt calmer. Once on the table he was very patient and skilled, he listened when I told him if anything wasn’t ok. We actually had a great conversation about the walking dead show lol. My aftercare was amazing and he gave me helpful tips on how to heal the fastest and safest way. I love this place! I am 8 months past op and my results are amazing and life changing! I healed amazingly and appreciate all the help!

I should say Dr. Stone and the staff are incredible. I felt very comfortable during my consultation, we discussed about the areas I wanted to get the procedure done and he informed me step by step how it would be done. He takes his time with his patients and does a GREAT job.
Believe it or not my procedure went soooo well that I was up and running from the second day, I didn’t even need to take pills, and got great result.
Love the fact that I could keep in touch with the front desk and office staff via txt.

As he say he gives you a nice cocktail to numb you and I call it «The Stone Cocktail» will def put you in a good mood and you won’t feel a thing!

Dr. Stone, Ruthanne and his tech are all absolutely amazing. Being somewhat of a guys-​guy, I never saw myself getting cosmetic surgery.
But after an injury in Iraq, I found myself with an extra «price of me» under my chin and felt self conscious about it. After speaking with the Doc, he made me feel super comfortable about having the procedure done. I wouldn’t get anything done with someone else.

Day 12 of the recovery from Liposuction and fat transfer and It turns out amazing way far from what i expected.DR. STONE HAS CHANGED MY LIFE. Now let me start my story, i bought a groupon voucher for liposuction without looking at the review on Unilocal or anything, i was afraid after reading one of the review with only one star rate here on Unilocal.But whoever wrote that, it’s not true from what i experienced, the staffs is super nice and friendly and their way of working is professional answering all my concerns. Will have the stitches remove in 2 days. I have the liposuctions on my flanks and arms to transfer to breast, i had a saggy breast after breastfeeding, with Dr. Stone’s amzing job, he not only make the boobs bigger but also reduce the saggy shape of them. I love my body look now. Ready to show to my friends and introduce to Dr. Stone because im so happy with my body right now. I’ve made a research on google for the before and after photos of fat transfer to boobs of other Drs, I’m not bragging, my boobs shape is way better then them, it looks like a regular breast implants thanks to Dr. Stone amazing hands. Totally recommend. TEN STARS FOR FRIVA.

what can i say about dr. stone? awesome! being in the health care field myself has afforded me to associate with a lot of various doctors. with that being said, dr. stone is one of the best! he really truly takes all the necessary time to understand your needs, wants, and requirements. his credentials ain’t shabby either!
he has wonderful bedside manners, great sense of humor, but most importantly he is honest and skilled at his craft! i am 3 days in from having liposuction on my flanks, upper back, upper and lower abs. everything that he told me to expect has happened in that order.
now onto his wonderful amazing staff!
1) ruthann is the heartbeat of the office. she is like charlie from charlie’s angels. she is so very sweet and knowledgeable. make a call and you will understand what i mean.
2) narda: don’t let her age fool you! she is very smart and knows her stuff! she has plenty for experience to assist the doctor and you!

Update. Dr Stone gave results far beyond my expectations. I am very pleased with my results. I will not say what I had done, but I shopped for the right Doc for one month, and it was an emotional roller coaster! I wrote emails to Dr. Stone every day, he saved all my emails, replied with his honest opinions. I had doctors all over LA trying to convince me to go to them instead, but after much pondering, I stuck with Friva. Ruthann was a doll and helped me with scheduling and preparation. It has been about 2 weeks of recovery and I am thrilled with my results.
Dr Stone did his work with local anesthesia, so some discomfort is expected. It was a breeze for me as I have a high pain tolerance. He even asked me to be quiet at times, as I was being too chatty during the procedure! haha! I was glad to see that he cared greatly for his attention to detail … He even repaired some old «botched» work that I had previously done. Final results will take months to see, but if I am already SUPER HAPPY — i can expect it to get even better.

I went in for an IPL treatment with Dr Stone and was very impressed throughout the entire process. The front office is amazing and then the one on one visit with Dr Stone is almost unheard of in LA. He’s fantastic and the results are exemplary.

I saw the microdermabrasion/​IPL deal on Living Social, and after reading these reviews on Unilocal,I decided to try it (around October 2012). I had never tried IPL before, but a friend of mine tried it somewhere else & said it worked great. It was sadly the worst decision I have ever made on my skin. I am Asian and had a few sunspots on my cheeks, around my mouth, and a couple on my forehead. I was left w/​the same spots on my cheeks, more brown spots around my mouth than I had to begin with, and DARK BROWN hyper-​pigmentation across my entire forehead.
Before the procedure, Dr. Stone informed me that he would be going over my face 3 times. During the procedure, he chatted with me, which I didn’t mind, but after going over my face 3 times, he paused while telling a story, and in my opinion, forgot where he was and went over my forehead a 4^th time. I’m not sure if going over my forehead a 4^th time was the cause of my forehead becoming burned. But either way, my forehead was burned, which resulted in a giant painful scab across my forehead for nearly 3 weeks (and a portion of my left eyebrow was singed right off).
About a week later, Dr. Stone texted me to follow up and I worriedly went into the office to show him my skin. He then provided me with hydroquinone pads and Retin-​A pads to put on my forehead and cheeks. It is important to note here that I informed him that I was trying to get pregnant during this time, to which he said it was fine. After I went home & did some research, I learned it is NOT fine, so I stopped using them. At the same time, I wrote a review on Unilocal explaining this story & added a before-​and-​after photo. He then called me and asked me to take the post down, as it would ruin his reputation. He promised to help me get my skin back to the way it was, free of charge, so I agreed to take it down. Well, it turns out, he instructed me to purchase over-​the-​counter products from CVS and I never heard from him again.
I am extremely regretful for ever having done this in the first place. My few sunspots were much less noticeable than the scar I have on my forehead now. Now I’m having to treat the scar on my forehead from the IPL damage (somewhere else, of course). This $ 149 IPL was not worth it for me. The saddest, most frustrating part for me is that the money, or my complaining on Unilocal,will not fix my skin.
