What I love the most about this place are the very friendly and intelligent servers. Tonight I was particularly impressed by Becca. She was so delightful and sweet and added so much charm to our experience there. Wow!!! The food was a little off tonight, but the beauty of this restaurant, the fascinating Hollywood mogul crowd, and our incredible server, all made it a wonderful evening.

Great service, the lobster was okay. The serving size was on the small side however, we did sit right next to Sylvester Stallone! That’s right Rocky myself, haha.

One of the best Italian food in LA. Selections of variety dishes. Their artichoke dressing with tomatoes served along side the bread is second to none. Chocolate mouse for desert is from another world.

Was there for their lunch service and it was excellent. The waitress was extremely attentive and very knowledgable. We didn’t order desert and still received a sweet treat of freshly made caramel and grapes from the owner. Oh and I meant to mention that the food was absolutely delicious as well. I am looking forward to our next visit.

$ 125 for a pasta dish! $ 125 and all they said was«market price». Complained about the lack of disclosure and the manager was very snooty.

Wow I can’t believe I lived in LA for all this years and I just finally went to try it. What a nice restaurant! Every person who came to our table was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was just delicious. Everything was amazing. New favorite spot!

I give this place a 5 star plus! I love it! Found out about it simply searching through Unilocal.Food is so amazing I just can’t wait to go back. Waitress was really kind and very knowledgeable about the menu. I have been craving the light and healthy crab cake plate they serve, gazpacho with fresh avocado and beets as recommended by waitress, espresso and that ridiculously delicious bread with olive spread. See you tomorrow and the day after too!

I just had a great evening at Ill Pic. I have not been there in a couple years,. From appetizers to entre to dessert it is still a great restaurant. We went there for a Sixtieth Birthday. We had while asparagus soup to die for. We had A signature artichoke carpaccio, yummy light salad of fresh artichoke mushrooms & arugula and the best pecorino Romano. We had veal, seven hour lamb and mushroom stuffed pasta. The meat entrees came with mashed potatoes & spinach. The bread was served with tomato bruschetta &. a garlic cream cheese spread, easy to O D on! Dessert was tart tatin and the chocolate mousse with rose that we voted the best ever!(Some dark chocolate & some milk chocolate) We had obligatory lemoncello.(I am Ilalian). We had wine with dinner. Becca was our server and she made our dining a 10 for the experience! The conto was $ 279.00 for a lovely 60th birthday for three of us. I love this place slanted patio and all. Everyone was so warm. The owner was there and oversaw this little gem in West Hollywood. It’s. 9.5. For sure. Worth it!!!

I’ll do my best to just bottom line this place for anyone who hasn’t been(I have dined here probably 20 times). 1.) The food is quite good but also quite expensive. Bordering Madeo’s price points 2.) The vibe is charming and small with an older crowd 3.) The service is typically strong If you are older and don’t mind the price and this description, you will enjoy it. If you are younger and want a hip place, this is not for you. As far as my favorite dishes, they have amazing Dover Sole that is flown in fresh almost daily. It is approx $ 65 but is delicious. They have some of the best french fries I’ve had in the city. When in season, they have fresh and fantastic, but pricey stone crabs from Florida. The sauce they serve with the stone crabs is also great with the fries. I’ve also had the steak(several different cuts) and found it quite good as well as the Branzino. The pastas are good but not as strong as nearby restaurants such as Madeo or Angelini Osteria.

One of those magical places that is hard to describe. It is not ultra-chic, it does not try to be trendy… and yet it has more ambiance than most restaurants in LA. Casual elegance is the word that comes to mind. Not pretentious food, it is just perfectly done. Delicious and wonderful service every time we have visited. Last night I had the crab cakes(the best I have ever had… I ate them too fast to get a photo), the lemon pasta was delicious, and their chocolate mousse is always unreal. It is a bit pricey, and has been packed whenever we have gone… so they are doing something right!

Simply me favorite new restaurant !!! P. S. The owner is really nice guy, if you have. It tried this great restaurant. I would highly recommend you making a reservation asap

Can’t believe I didn’t do a review for this place. Two of my friends and I met up here for lunch. I’ve never been to this place, though when I told the Mr about it he said it’s a good place and have been quite a few times. So I knew I was in a for a treat. First off, it’s in a residential area but at least they have valet. So bring cash for that. When I came in there was a gentleman at the door who nodded at me and said hello and I returned the greeting and quickly walked toward my friend’s table: Thinking«wow what a nice man! ». It’s a small, quaint place(when you step inside you would not think this place existed given its surroundings) the owner really went out of his way to make sure the décor and the layout reflected this. I started out with their grilled artichoke, it was very tasty, and SO big. Artichoke season ! Yay! Then I had their gazpacho soup, one of my favorite soups of all time. Now it’s the only cold soup I will eat. And I like my gazpacho a little chunky. The waitress informed me that the gazpacho was all puréed and smooth, but assured me that it was very good. When she brought it out, I was SO pleased that the waitress and the chef had made sure that I the soup was topped off wit plenty of tomato, cucumber and avocado chunks. THIS is what takes an already great restaurant to a different echelon. I am an artichoke lover, so in keeping with my theme I had the baby artichoke salad. Which many people have referenced as «Artichoke Carpaccio» but you will not find that on the menu, it’s just simply listed as baby artichoke salad. Their menu is pretty extensive, so I can’t wait to come back and try other stuff! Towards the end of our meal while we were sipping our cappuccinos, the waitress brought out a dessert and said it was compliments of Mr. Silvio(?), the owner, who just happened to be sitting with a large group enjoying their drinks nearby. We looked over and he raised his glass and nodded in our direction, we mouthed ‘thank you’. And catch this, Mr. Silvio was the same gentleman who greeted me was by the door when I quickly walked in.

This is merely a poor attitude review. I always like to check out the menu before I go to any restaurant. Is it asking too much to find out in advance if any particular restaurant is serving the kinds of things I want to eat? I think not. I called the restaurant and I mentioned to them that I could only find their lunch menu online. They said that’s all they have posted. I asked«why don’t you post your dinner menu». He gave me some lame ass excuse about the fact that there wasn’t enough room on their website. He further stated I was the only person that ever asked him for it. Honestly, there are too many fantastic restaurants in this city for me to want to go to a restaurant that’s going to give me attitude before I even walk in the door. And what’s with the menu with no prices on it. Is that supposed to be cute or something? I find it to be obnoxious.

In a nutshell, this place is overpriced, the food has a lot left to be desired in terms of quality and quantity and the service is very snobby. The best part about our meal was the hummus and the bruchetta-like tomato appetizer they provided complimentary at the beginning of the meal. That’s where the good stuff ends. My friend ordered an $ 18 eggplant Parmesan. You would think for the price it would be awesome. Instead it was salty and the portion size must have been one slice of an eggplant. Extremely lackluster and not worth the money. The eggplant itself was very salty and unsavory. I ordered a Vegetable Panini. Also extremely disappointing. This was a $ 10 panini but it only had 4 pieces of asparagus between two slices of bread. I asked if she could add sliced mozzarella to give it some substance. She charged me $ 5 extra for mozzarella which was ridiculous. The bill came out to $ 35 for two people which I would not have minded had the food been good. This is the first and last time I’m coming back here. I have been to far better Italian restaurants in Beverley Hills.

A true gem. We’ve been here so many times over the years and it never disappoints. The pastas(especially lemon pasta), salads, steaks, veal, fish, desserts(chocolate mousse) are all sublime.

Amazing quality and seasoned like in Paris ! The trouble with Los Angeles high end places is the ’ taste ’ is not infused with the food. Most places have cooks, not Chefs ! Unable to ever catch up food wise to New York Or Paris… Il Piccolino is an exception … Playing ground level with the best, I don’t go often but when I do I am reminded of 4 – 5 star places in the Big Apple Paris as close as you can get … A FAN

Went here last night and spend $ 250 for Calamari, Caesar Salad, half lobster, and some Mozzarella and a couple of drinks. Seriously? There is nothing more I hate than feeling ripped off. To top off my night I went back to my car after two hours of my 4 hour paid meter and found a ticket for no front license plate. Thanks West Hollywood — I will never put a plate on the front no matter how much it bothers you. Grrrrrrr
